**February Babies 2012**

BH's r beginning to become painful. I can feel it starting and finishing. Lasts about 2-3 mins. Also (TMI alert) my bowels r a lot looser. I've had looser bowels all through my pregnancy (not suffered from constipation at all!!) but today they have been looser than normal. Also pretty sure I can feel Pip's head low down in my pelvis. Feels like the elastic in my knickers that go under bump are pressing into his head! (not that they are too tight, but where it lies under bump I can feel his head).

The little wrigglebum has also shifted from my left to my right side which isn't as good for labour. Sleeping on my left tonight to try and get him to flip back. At this rate I think he should be born on Tuesday as its pancake day! Lol!

Just ordered the border to match Pip's nursery theme. Gonba buy some small picture frames and cut out the pictures and make a collage. Gonna also do things like putting the word tractor in a frame with a pic of the tractor. Get him learning his words already! Lol! Ear muffs should arrive tomorrow so I can make his curtain huggers, then just gotta order his name in big wooden letters to paint and hang in his room.

On a mission to clean to clean my bathroom and the last kitchen cupboard tomorrow too. Then the whole house has been cleaned ready for Pip's arrival! Lol!

Aww Wow larly you are feeling it too! Sounds like baby pip has moved down some. My knickers are also suddenly diggin in to my pubic line. I put my nighty on really early this afternoon as its the only item of clothing I have left that's comfy!

Wonder who will pop first you or me?? It sounds close ;D

Well as far as mw concerned pip isn't engaged so who knows! In bed now but really struggling to get comfy :( also don't feel tired at all, feel sick :(

Let's hope we get some labour watch soon, feels like an age since we last had one!

Oooh - sounds like we could have a run of labour watches -make sure we get lots of up dates ladies - non of this - ooops he/she's arrived. lol. we're in need of excitement. lol xxx

It's all sounding good, Carly! My money is on Verity being our next labour watch, but then I think there could be a rush of watches over the next week or so... Come on Feb babies... Make your appearances!!!! :)

I agree verity will be next! Come on cub, u need to give some impatient women hope!!

Had a bad night. Didn't sleep a lot. Had BH's quite a bit and backache to go with it. then when I managed to get comfy Pip was kicking the mattress or daddy! DH said to me last night that sometimes Pip kicks and wakes him up and he lays there with his hand on my belly ad talks to him - I'm always asleep when it happens. Made me go all mushy that they get father and son time without mummy interrupting. Made me cry! Lol!

Awwww Carly that's sooooooo lovely! I can't wait to see DH cry after the birth - he always gets choke up by OBEM.

Ooooooooh some of you ladies sound very close! Cub may not make his appearance that soon after all though some of you may beat me to the punch. After my sweep yesterday, I got back cramps all day but they all disappeared at night and I slept pretty well. Woken up this morning and feel fine! Clearly he's just super relaxed still - lets hope these Feb babies are the same on the outside lol!

Oh hope they start up again verity. As usual lots of mild cramping here but nothing more!

Oh nooooooo! I think our washing machine is crapping out - really hope it isn't! Just put it on a test cycle so hopefully that will work! On the plus side, since it would be super inconvenient if it were to break and we needed a repairman - maybe that will encourage cub to make his appearance

GregorysGirl; seems you've been having to do the same as me and having a mass update. :) Don't know whats happened to the time since the weekend, the days have just been mashed together. Hope your LO decides to come soon or they can agree to a sweep if your ready for one to ease the pain. :(
Nic; Hoping your LO makes an arrival before you have to have an induction, but guess least you've got a date now. Hope the curry works its magic for you but great to hear your as far engaged as can be.
Verity; all sounds very positive for you then, being calm makes it easier I think. :) Hopefully your sweep will do something so you have Bear Cub before the weekend. Fab news that your cervix is ready and your 1cm :) Verity, things could easily start up for you again though, think little bear cub is just too relaxed. But I bet the arrival would happen when the repairman is due...
Lorna; well that wasn't very fair of your LO knocking the whole bowl of soup was it? Sounds like you had a lovely baby shower and lots of lovely gifts, ready for your LO.
Lewa; glad your cold is vanishing and you are feeling much better and the labour signs are picking up. :) Hope lo is here soon which all sounds very promising.
Carly; ooo sounds like things are progressing for you, I cannot wait until Tuesday, one because its due date but two because its pancake day and I love pancakes :) Are you no longer thinking pip will go until the 29th? Also think its lovely that your OH and LO get time to themselves even whilst LO isn't born.

As for me, well I've been updating in other threads as didn't want to miss out on reading all of these. Went to MW yesterday morning and hadn't felt LO move about, got sent to the hospital for monitoring and felt him 6 times, so got sent home, still didn't feel much so went back about 9pm and they were going to keep me in but registrar said I could come home so left just before 12. Got to go back today for monitoring and to see consultant to make a plan, which is either to induce me or to have daily monitoring, Also two of the midwives were convinced i'm in early labour anyway. Had a few more kicks today maybe about 3/4, I told the hospital I feel stupid as LO moves when I'm there but not when I get home, maybe he just doesn't like home...
Anyway, sounds like lots of labour watches might all be happening at once on here, hope I can manage to get on to stalk a few and LO doesn't give lots more hospital visits.

xxx

Awww let us know how it goes today Zoe! Very exciting that your LO looks set to be with you so soon. Don't feel stupid at all - it's so much better to be on the safe side. And I think our LOs like to worry us by dozing at home and waking up at the hospital. Especially as you get closer to the end, they say babies get quieter anyway. And they seem to be looking after you very well at the hospital xxxxx

Verity, the hospital told me yesterday babies shouldn't slow down before labour but one said they do, so I got confussed. Hoping he decides to make an arrival soon so don't have to worry as much, still thinking its my placenta in the way but will update as soon as I am home :) xx

Oooooh that is confusing! The advice does seem to be different from place to place, although I only read mine online as opposed to a MW telling me. Good to know anyway. Looking forward to the update xxxxx

Zoe I'm still kinda thinkin 29th but the way he has been flipping about makes me think pancake day would be more apt! Lol!

Shame that pancake day is different every year. You never know when he will decide to show his little face.
Advice is different no matter who you see where you are, because in the hospital last time I had reduced movements the midwives said its anything less than normal for movements and consultant said its less then 10, but its definately anything less than normal. xx

Ooh sounds like it could be all go soon with labour watches! Considering how many off us and already half way through the month!!

Exciting. I am willing baby out but don't think will budge. I haven't had any real signs yet - no show, cramping or anything. Still a week till DD though. Just getting impatient.

Have you all who are feeling things change and start to happen had a show? x

Lol Carly! I've had a show (not bloody though) and feeling nothing so not sure how much the show is an indication of imminence...

I did have an evening of baby really having a good rummage in the down belows, it really does make you twitch as it's such a weird feeling. There was so much poking and prodding going on I wondered if she was packing her bags ready to pop out but no. Fingers crossed that at last baby has decided to get into a reasonable head down position, won't find out til next Wednesday at MW mind you.

How are the rest of you ladies feeling today?
