**February Babies 2012**

I know what u mean verity about an actual baby looking baby coming out! Still think he isn't fully developed and has see-through skin or something!!

Been cleaning my kitchen cupboards out today, still got 1 more double cupboard to clear out so will do that tomorrow I think. Then gonna give the bathroom a going over! I'm determine to get this baby out! Lol!

Im not really bothered about people "expecting" a cuddle - i think its kinda natural with a baby - i know i've always wanted a cuddle. I cant wait to show her off. lol. Then i think most of the people who'd probably turn up early are folk i'd be very comfortable around anyways - i have quite a lax attitude to visitors - if you spend more than one night in my house you need to start learning your way around the kitchen so you can help yourself. lol

Well cleaning the kitchen hasn't had any effect :( running out of things to do now so Pip had better get a move on!!

Got doctors tomorrow for this horrible chesty cough so hoping they can give me something. Pip wriggles every time I cough which hurts :(

Hey Rachel - I added you to the first post as you are one of the Feb mummies now! Noah is such a gorgeous name - how are you both doing?

Thank you! :)

Were both still in hospital unfortunately. Me because of my high blood pressure and Noah because he was having problems feeding, then it turned out he had high levels of jaundice so he's currently in SCBU! :(

Awww I'm so sorry to hear that hon. I hope you both get to go home soon. Keep us posted xxxxx

Aww, Rachel, hope you and LO are soon back home... Xx

After saying yesterday that no-one had asked if my little one was here yet, I logged off here and then got a text asking me if any sign or LO yet, typical!! Thing that annoys me is its a girl who hasn't spoken to me since I left school 4 and a half years ago, and found out I was pregnant so decides to pester me.
I also don't want my baby being woken up just to be held and being passed from person to person, poor little one will get confussed. :( My nan and aunt on dads side are the only big smokers and don't really get on with them so won't be seeing them often enough, maybe just when he's born.
My friend is a smoker too, she stopped as soon as she found out she was pregnant, now shes had her little one she has started again but only has two a day and thats when baby is asleep, one in a morning and one at night.
Youngmummy; hope your lo makes an arrival before wednesday for you, :)
Carly; hope the doctor can give you something to help with your cough tomorrow.
Rachel; Glad you and baby are getting a bit better, I'm hoping Noah will get better soon and you too so you can both come home, he's gorgeous :) x

I was thinking that too - and everyone's been asking today. I swear if one more person at church this morning had said "so your still here" or "how are you feeling" I was gonna throttle them.

I agree with the not waking up bit, but if she's awake i dont see the harm in it - so long as she's happy and not screaming the place down.

Young mummy - i hope your organised for a labour thread - we're getting desperate for one now. lol xxx

Yay congrats youngmummy! Another Feb mummy!

Cub is still making no signs of moving - DH is getting so impatient now and starting to feel like I need to perform. But he's in the best place for him until he's ready to say hello!

Congrats, young mummy! :)

Oh, Verity, your little one really must be comfy in there!

No signs here either... Little one's 'birthday' came and went and not a single sign that she is any hurry to leave her little nest any time soon. I am hoping she might make an appearance on Friday (17th) - we have just exchanged contracts on the sale of my late parents' house, and our completion date will be this Friday. We are seeing the proceeds of the sale as my late parents' gift to their Grandchild for when she is old enough, so would be lovely and really magical if she arrived on the same day! Fingers crossed! :)

Awwww Nic - that's so so lovely! What a special and beautiful thing for you and your LO. I have my fingers crossed that she'll show up for you to make the day extra special.

I'm actually trying to do things now where it would be inconvenient for LO to turn up - trying to see if sod's law works as nothing else is! Wearing my best undies to bed in case my waters break, organising deliveries of big items for the days between now and when I would get induced! LOL

Love your strategy, Verity!! Hope it works for you! If only my best underwear still fit me... Lol... Not sure I'll ever squeeze into it again!
I am looking for a new washing machine at the moment in anticipation of all the extra washing and soiled nappies I will be laundering... Maybe I should arrange delivery for Friday...!! Hehehe! :)

Anyone nervous about labour yet?

I kinda feel I should be but I'm not! I think I'm still in denial that I'm actually pregnant after trying for so long, it just doesn't seem possible that my baby is due next week! I'm sill excited I'm even pregnant, let alone have digested it enough to realise I have to give birth! Lol!

God help me when I do go into labour, it's gonna be an almighty shock!

Meeeeeeee!!! Petrified if truth be told!! I am also still in denial I think... Just cannot quite believe there is a little person inside that is about to join us in our lives! It doesn't seem possible.

Glad I'm not the only one Nic!

Have mw at 2:30 and hoping my little monkey is engaged. I'd even be happy f it was only 1/5, at least I know it's something! I know some babies don't engage until labor, but it makes me feel more prepared knowing he is (hopeully) engaged cos I'll start to think about it more. My brain doesn't seem to comprehend labour when baby isn't engaged. I keep thinking unless he is engaged t won't happen, which i know isn't true but all adds to my denial about Pip's impending birth!

I hope that pip is engaged at your mw appt Carly.

I am not worrying about the birth at all its the after bit about taking bubs home that i am worrying about lol. Can't believe due next week - it seems to have come around so quick. Just hope not kept waiting.

Love that way of thinking Verity! As Nic said if only i could still fit into best undies lol. x

Fingers crossed for Pip being engaged, Carly! let us know how it goes this afternoon! :) xx

Is it strange that im not nervous I just want it over and done with? X
