Well, supposed to be my LO's birthday tomorrow...! Really can't see anything happening any time soon though!
Am going to get out and about today - have decided to be very civilised and go for afternoon tea this afternoon... Could be the last opportunity I get for some time to do anything civilised!
Have a lovely day everyone! xx
Enjoy your afternoon tea Nic , hoping lo will make an arrival soon for you. I'm heading out shopping all weekend, hoping the walking may do some good as I've been a bit idle lately x
Thanks Zoe - have a fab time shopping! I've been quite lazy this week too - the ice has had me a bit scared to get out as much as I would like... But now its the rweekend I ave an arm to cling onto!! lol
Have fun! I woke up with period type pains but no tightenings, has eased quite a bit now but hopefully a good sign that baby Boris is at least thinking of making an appearance sooner rather than later (or probably my wishful thinking!)
I'm doing more shopping today! Gonna buy myself a new top to wear at my DH's mates birthday do tonight. Going to be hardcore and go out for a couple of hours! On the lemonade mind u! Lol!
Hey layydeeees!!!
Well I have had to go to the doctors with my leg/back pain...its so bad I cant apply pressure to my rght leg....literally limping round the house. Dr says its bcus Jnr is laying on a nerve, shouldnt affect labour n the only way to get rid of the pain permanently is to get the baby here. Though that meant he was going to induce me...mine n DHs eyes lit up...but he just meant to go into a natural labour. I just cant tolerate the pain anymore.
On top of that Jnr is moving like a maniac...like u Kerrianne...non bloody stop n getting some really sharp shooting pains in the front of my foof.
Anyone else getting these?
Not long now but Im just dreading going over due.
Not sleeping n being in pain is not my ideal way to spend the last days but the best bit is yet to come....n I dont mean the labour...lol xxx
Awwww I'm so sorry to hear this Gregory's girl. It sounds terrible - I hope you get some relief soon and the LO decides to make an appearance. My mum said when she was pregnant with my brother he was laying on a spinal nerve so she couldn't stand up for the last trimester which sounded terrible so I really sympathise.
I get some pain from cub moving now that he's so big and I assume I have less cushioning - actually waking me up in the night. I then get super excited and hope it's a contraction but it always stops when he goes back to sleep...
Pip is still up to his old tricks with hiccups and constant wriggling. People at slimming world today commented on how much it looked like he had dropped. My consultant reckons he his gonna make his appearance next Saturday as its her sons birthday.
I'm out tonight so kinda hopin cos mummy and daddy are out Pip will decide to join us!
I've decided to be crafty! Lol! Can't find any tiebacks or huggers for Pip's curtains, so I'm gonna make them!!! Bought a pair of baby blue ear muffs, gonna get some buttons and elastic and make my own curtain huggers hoping they turn out alright, will take a pic once they r done
Well after thinking that last nights foof pains might have meant madam's figured out where the exit was and DH convincing me to go for a walk tonight - i figured we might be heading in the right direction.
But I now have a bum pushing on my ribs - literaly on the underwire of my bra!! - no dear you cant get out that way!!!
Its almost like she's too stubborn - like "i'll go down here and have a wee look around - nope sorry mum not quite ready for that yet - im heading back up!! grrrr!!! lol xxx
I have days when she is much higher up again in the ribs, but last three Appointments have all said 3/5 engaged. Don't quite understand just what she is up to in there sometimes! Thinking these Feb babies are all being quite stubborn at the moment! Xx
