Do any April/May mummies want to try and lose our baby weight together?

oops forgot to post my weight yesterday. I am now 11st 8lb so still headed in the right direction but not quick enough for my likings. I was quite pleased with how I was looking until I stayed at my parents on friday night and saw myself in a full legnth mirror. Note to self - stay away from full legnth mirrors!

lol! we have a pull out full length mirror at ours that i used to look in every day when i got ready but it hasnt made an appearence since i had Ifan - im too scared!

Will weigh myself and post tomorrow if i remember but i dont hink ive lost any more x
 
Right weighed myself today and I'm now 10st not I've lost 1lb since last Monday. 7lb to go!! xx

Setdse did you get some new jeans? Also I agree we need pics of the wee man in his suit

No weight loss to report for me - some days I've eaten naughty things so I really need to crack down on all the treats now. At least I'm on track with exercising - wii fit three times a week, swimming twice a week and once a week Ive started a pushy mothers class which is exercising with the buggy

Jodie youre doing loads of exercise well done you! I asked the health visitor today about any exercise classes for mothers with babies today and shes going to let me know next week. Pushy mothers sounds good!

Ive downloaded some exercise dvds to do but i dont know when ill get time to do them really cos i think the stamping would probably wake Ifan up during the day.

Im 12st7 today so ive actually put weight back on!! boo! I need to start doing this properly now x
 
This is the first time I've looked at this thread. Just weighed myself for the first time since having Louie.

I am 12 stone exactly. I'm going to aim to lose 2 stone, I was about 10 1/2 stone when I got pregnant so I'm aiming to be a little slimmer than before. I wish I weighed myself before now to see how I'm doing but better late than never I suppose. X
 
I also got told my physio that I'm not to do any exercise really until about 3 months after I have Louie. I'm just going to go walks in the pram if I ever get a dry day and cut down on food. My OH lost about 7 stone a few years ago before we met so he is very strict so I know he will help and I can follow his diet :) x

God, I would wake the dead, if I went stomping and leaping around in my flat, lol - i dont think my laminate floor would be able to cope - ha!
As you can probably tell, I dont think ive lost any weight this week - but I have had family down, so thats my excuse!

hello all...

i've started my "get fit and healthy/weight loss" plan this week... this is my 2nd pregnancy and i don't think i'll EVER get back to my FIRST pre-pregnancy weight of 12 stone ... but here's my "this pregnancy details":

Pre-"Emma" pregnancy weight: roughly 14 stone
Last weigh in before gave birth: 18 stone 2lb
First weigh in after gave birth (16th April 2 weeks after birth): 17 stone 2lb
Goal weight: 13 stone (this was my wedding wight in sept 2009 (nearly 1 year before i fell pregnant)
Current weight: Monday 27th June I was 16 stone 9lb
Weight to lose: 3 stone 9lb!!!!

My target weight of 13 stone is still 1 stone above what they say is the "healthy" range for my height of 5 foot 10, but I would be over themoon if i could get back to my wedding day weight from 2 years ago...

i joined slimming world last friday but it was too much cooking from scratch and i ended up in tears just trying to plan a shopping list (didn't help that i don't get paid til this friday too! - lol!)...

So I am just going it alone now (well not now i have you guys to share it with!!!) and cutting out all biscuits, cakes, crisps and choc.... and trying to eat loads of fruit and veg... I'm really hoping this works and i'm sure it MUST work as i know how much of all these crappy foods i've been stuffing over the last few months!!! i'm still struggling to not have a bottle of beer or glass of wine each night but i will see what happens this week and then maybe try and cut ack on the alcohol next week!! Still enjoying it too much at the mo after 9 motnhs of none!!!

Going to weigh myself on Monday but so far this week VERY pleased with myself for not eating any crisps cakes or junk food at all etc, and been to gym twice, walked to nursery with Josie twice and yesterday cut the grass and tidied the garden...

i'm desparate to get on the scales but making myself wait til monday!!!

ps. jodie thanks for telling me about this thread and well done for all your excersize.. that might be your reason for no weight loss as they say if you excersize lots then it just turns the fat to muscles or something don't they?! I think the lady at slimming world said something like that to all the ladies who had stayed the same?

pps. bet the slimming world lady rings me tomorro to find out why i haven't gone back (meant to be there tomoz morning - lol!)
 
im 12st3 now woohoo im still losing!! Been out walking miles most days with the buggy so i think its down to that. Plus sticking to salads when i can!

Welcome Treeze!! I'm sure you will have definitely have lost some weight after cutting out the junk completely.

Cherelle you are doing really well!! You will soon be weight you want to be.

I just want my belly to be toned!! I think my last half a stone is on my belly. My shorts and jeans just fasten but I want them to fit comfortably before I wear them. I've been going on Dance Central on the Kinect everyday and going for a walk everyday as well. I did eat some cookies last night but they were good. I don't want to cut bad things out completely or it makes me want them more.

11st 6lb today. I feel really skinny now but in reality I'm still huge. I'm still not even close to fitting into my pre-pregnancy clothes but my maternity clothes are all too big. I have a grand total of 1 pair of jeans and 2 dresses that I can wear and I'm sooo bored of them. Can't wait to be small enough to buy new clothes.
 
i know what u mean about the clothes catty! i went to the chariy shop the other day and got a couple of pairs of jeans to chop into cropped trousers.. they were £1 each so i don't mind spending that just for the time being to have a few more options!!!

also, you're so right about the feeling skinny... none of my old clothes fit yet yet i feel like i'm almost back to normal but obviously not as i still weigh nearly 17stone rather than 14 stone!! wierd isn'tit..i thoughtit was cos i was SOOOO enormous near the end of being pregnant!!
 
lost 3 and a half pounds on my first week of healthy eating. Didn't really "diet" just cut out biscuits cakes and crisps.... this week i'm going to try and cut back on the alcohol too! So I'm going to aim for 13 stone as my final target... 14 stone was my pre-baby weight but would love to get back to my wedding day weight of 13 stone... so thats 1 stone 9lb lost already... 3 stone 5.5 to go!
 
Congrats Treeze!!! That is really good in a week!!

Think I may weigh myself next week as I've not eaten as well last week and don't want to be disappointed!!

Well we finally got some scales today and im 10 stone :D Ive been eating some naughty things recently but i get plenty exercise cleaning lol.. i feel happier with my shape right now and dont really want to lose much more but i need to otherwise im going to have to g oout n buy all new clothes which i really cant afford lol my 12s are to big now and the 8s way to small and i own no size 10s lol...

well done jodie and cherelle... i've been good again this week but not as strict as last week.. had a chinese last night but just had half veg curry and half a bolied rice so hopefully not too unhealthy!!! will weigh in again on monday!!!
