Hi girls, still no baby here! Have given up in the idea I'll go before Tuesday, home birth us for sure going to be out the window if i dont. seeing midwife today so I'll see what she says. I can't do any more to encourage this baby to come.
Hope Sosie doesn't have too long an induction.

Morning girls.. Love to see you're all still so chatty! Did Sosie start her induction last night? Hopefully she'll be quicker than me during that process.. The mw told me that as I was a first time mum and not 40 weeks at induction I was likely to need the full course if induction drugs.. A 24 hour pessary to ripen the cervix (those two words -ripen and cervix - should never be used together!) followed by a 6 hour prostaglandin gel which is a higher concentration of the pessary to help kick start labour. It took the start of the second dose to get my labour started!

Newbie and Doob - my OH wasn't interested in dtd either despite me telling him it was the same prostaglandin in sperm they use for induction! The mw tells him just the once and he becomes like some horny teenager again almost demanding it from me every chance he could!

Dysco sweety - I would be beside myself by now with the waiting! You must be keeping Tesco in business with all the ingredients you've been buying lately! I can't wait for your little Ollie to be here so we can meet up again with the little tots in tow!! And we WILL get dani here too at some point!!

Hope you all have great days despite waiting for the ticking time bombs to go off! Millie is doing really well with her feeding, its just hard to put her down afterwards because she gets very attached to Mum after food!

Dysco, good luck at the mw today and I'll keep hoping Ollie comes today or tomorrow for you.

Sophs, my movements have def got quieter. In the night I usually get woken up by her but last night didn't and then after waking at 4 got in a real panic. OH then put his hands on m tummy and she started wriggling away. Since then though it's just a few bum pushes and wriggles here and there.

Newbie love the photo frame idea. This LO got an engraved plectrum for daddy which sys 'my dad rocks' as he's obsessed with his guitars xx

Just been speaking to my midwife friend.... Get my induction date on Wednesday. Likely to be 29.12. Hopefully it won't come to that but I guess it's good to know. She said relax as stress inhibits the labour hormone from being produced so from today no more stressing for any of us

I'm going to tell OH he's not allowed to stress me out then I've repacked my hospital bags today and been on a long walk with pooch and OH. We were going to go out for lunch but I can't be bothered, feeling very emotional today. Good to hear you'll get your official induction date soon Newbie, but fx you won't need it. I don't get mine until 24/12 or the 31/12 but really hoping LO is here before then. Hope you're all having a nice Sunday xx

I just wanted to say...
Thanks so much for the past few months ladies.. You have honestly kept me sane.. Literally don't know how I would have coped without you all.. I came on here for a bit of support and for people to answer questions that I have but you guys have made it much much more then that..
So after bubs is born... i Will definitely still be a regular on here and I'm going to be rude on babies forum and create a December mummies thread so we can all still chat amongst ourselves
Definitely not a goodbye but just wanted to thank you all..
Can't wait to see all your LOs and to read your labour threads
