*****December Babies*****

Wilson you are more than welcome here Hun - I hope baby decides to come soon! Often read that they do just before induction is due!

Sammy good luck for your steroid injections. Only one more week before you are a mummy to two!! Exciting!

Labour can't be that much worse than leg cramps surely??? Ouch ouch ouch it has me in tears Xxxxxxxx

Awwr wilson.. bet its driving you crazy...
Eek Sammi... It's so close :)
Evacuation of the uterus is going to start today.. I've been feeling so uncomfortable the past few days.. I can't wait until maybe the start of January.. I'm to impatient.
Xx

Thanks girls,

I try and focus on xmas day with our baby boy that takes me past the panic, i guess its just a case of the unknown of labour and dealing with it at the time.

Are u excited sammy? The injection may give u some strength too lol xx

Welcome Wilson :-) I've deposited myself in both this and January threads as I feel I belong in both lol :-) I know I'll have a December baby at the latest though lol! Hope the anxiety settles and your just right to focus on Christmas Day with your little boy... I can't imagine what it must be like to go over due, but I do understand not knowing what's happening from one day to the next! It's enough to make a saint anxious! Hugs xx

Welcome Wilson, you can be a nov-dec mummy. Honestly hun you need to try and put the fears to the back of your mind, I know it's totally scary but the last thing you want to do is work yourself up in labour. Deep breaths, forward thinking and in a few days you'll have your little man laying in your arms looking up at his wonderful mummy :) xxx

Welcome Wilson! There's still tie for you to be a November mummy! Keeping my fx for you xxx

Welcome Wilson :) but hopefully LO will come in the next couple of days for you!! I'm still waiting in for this mw home visit. I have to go out at 1pm so hope she arrives soon, all I was told was it'll be in the am, grr x

Hope it goes ok doob and she turns up soon

I'm just back from my first steroid injections at the hospital, they stung sooooo bad and then the MW said 'so come back tonight at 10pm to the delivery suite' I was like  thought they were going to induce me but turns out I can have my second set of steroids tonight. I'm dreading it but at least it's all over today instead of going back tomo! Hope I don't hear screaming in the delivery suite!

i forgot to mention to its my birthday on wednesday, knowing my luck he will appear then lol xx

feeling crampy and have very very very light brown discharge, looks like a different texture to normal. sorry for the TMI! why do midwives always have there phones off grr..........How selfish am I lol x

i forgot to mention to its my birthday on wednesday, knowing my luck he will appear then lol xx

I bet LO will think that sounds like a good date too! Fx tomorrow instead Hun.

Sophs, if it continues maybe ring the hospital mw number if you are at all concerned.

Sammie, I wouldn't have expected them to do the second at 10pm either lol

My mw has just been (thankfully the dog was mostly good, phew). LO still in the same position head down at the top of my pelvis like she's been for the last 4 weeks. But mw said not to worry about the baby not being engaged yet she's in the right position just needs to drop, it does make me think I'm going to go over due though :( I'll be you Wilson in a months time, it must be so frustrating for you!! xx

Just called the hospital. I understand they are very busy but why are people so rude! like your an inconvenience. they are the first to tell you to call if anything changes grrrr. I have to wait and someone will apparently call within an hour x

Take it easy hun, feet up with a brew and wait for the phone xx

Doob mine keeps flipping sides so I think ill go longer than anyone! Soooo annoying.

Yeah it is, my lo is always on the right too which worries me slightly! I think because I was so hoping she'd be engaged its made me more dissapointed. Does anyone know how far in advance they need to engaged for first time mums? Or can it still be quite close to labour date?

Sophs, hope you get some answers soon, like you said there's no reason for them to be rude and you did try the other mw first. Xx

Soph hope they get back to you soon!

Sammy sorry to hear it hurt and that is strange going at 10pm but at least it will all be done then.

Doob I hadn't been told that Ella had engaged at my 34w app, never felt her drop and had her at 35+5 without warning so don't think first babies have to engage before labour x

Doob, it's not unusual for first time babies to engage a couple of days before
