I was talking to my friend who has a 3 yr old tonight. She was telling me in her labour her pain was in her hips, she felt like they were on fire. She still managed on just gas and air...... sometimes I think it's strange when ladies tell you how .awful labour is but when you ask if they had pain relief their response is 'no' . I just think if something is that awful and painful wouldn't you have pain relief??? confused lol xx
yea same, i'm open to everything. Just makes me laugh when you hear horror stories and yet the people telling it said no to pain relief. makes you feel like it might actually be manageable .......ha xx
Its a wierd one ladies but I wasntt offered pain relief until midnight of the day I had Lily (had her at 2.30am) prior to that I was only offered gas and air and you are so busy concentrating on getting through the pain that you kind of forget that there is stronger stuff. Well I did! xx
I feel like I've got a ball between my legs
Birth plan= go with the flow.. Try and just have water birth and gas and air but if I need an epidural I will have one... Not to sure about pethidine.. Maybe if I'm in it for thelonghaul xx
Yeah it feels like I'm sitting on something. He has also been a right wriggler but feet more than anything. I wasn't engaged on Wednesday. Guess that can change at any time though? Even sitting on my ball hurts now!
