*****December Babies*****

I just itch all over, anyone else have same problem? Especially legs, they are covered in rashes

My bump has been itchy but only now and then.. hope your not tearing yourself apart.

I dread to think what Id be like if I was overly itchy, I wake up having clawed myself during the night as it is, random scratched leg or arm LOL xxxxxxxxx

I've suffered badly with itchiness. Try Calamine lotion. Or E45 itch relief cream.
Hope it soothes it for you. I know how unbearable it can be. Xx

I'm also using E45 emollient shower cream which seems good. Xx

My gp wouldn't give me the e45 itch stuff. She said normal e45 was fine but the itch stuff had something in it we shouldn't use. Hmmm might ask the mw tomorrow cos I'll have anything that helps.

Well ladies I think my LO must have had a growth spurt. I feel huge, like a whale with two seals attached all waddling along. Plus I still have this stupid headache. Time for a bath I think!

I don't understand how you can go from cauliflower and then a few weeks later a coconut?!? Surely coconuts are smaller? And lighter?

Just posted in January baby thread how I feel a little 'homeless' I won't be 40 weeks until January so I'm officially a January mummy but definitely having this munchkin in December (latest section date is 20th December) so will be becoming a mummy at the same time as you guys, hope you don't mind me gate crashing this thread too!!

Welcome over  I reckon I'll end up a January mummy, just have that feeling that LO will stay put for as long as possible. Fx I'm wrong! Have you got a definite date now? Xx

At the moment I'm a November mummy and a December mummy but will be induced in December and these babies aren't budging any earlier. Stupid MW told me I'd 'definitely have them in November' what did she know
Ah well, it just means I've met more mummies from different months!

Thank-you :-) My section date is officially provisional for the 20th December lol, I get reviewed weekly and providing this placenta holds out and stays healthy it will be the morning of 20/12/12 x

Welcome flips :) the more the merrier.. I think I will be a January mummy.. I will be gutted if I am... I can't wait to meet my LO.. I wish I could just decide what day to have bubs :) xx

Wow so exciting to have a date but I guess also scary that you need a date in the first place. hope the placenta doesn't cause you any problems in the next few weeks.

On a rather different slightly tmi note, after you've been sitting on your birthing balls does anyone else find their bits have gone numb and it's a little difficult to walk? xx

I just posted this in another thread, yep I feel exactly like that! I have to waddle!

Really glad it's not just me! I've only just started using it after last Saturday's anti natal class and I find it's comfy on the ball but after...hmmm

Flips you are definitely welcome here Hun!! I'm really hoping to be a December mummy but I suppose there is a realistic chance baby might stay put til January - I hope not!!

I think I will be a January mummy. But I really want to be before Xmas!! Knowing my luck it will be Xmas day! Lol.
Doob - I'm so confused with conflicting views from the health professionals. I don't know what to do for the best!! I think I will check with mw on Friday too.

I have just had a small glass of wine. Felt it was much needed after my day at work and then having accident in car leaving work. Thankfully only damage is a broken wingmirror and glass. Really feel like I've had enough now! My friend said I need to stay in bed until baby is born as I seem to be in the wars recently in one way or another!
Still 2 and half weeks til finish for mat leave. I prob should finish sooner but I need the money!

Dysco I don't know how you're doing it. I feel like crying, I can't take much more of not sleeping! I'm a zombie and I don't even have to work xxxxxxx

Oh bliss, hope your okay lovely :)
Dysco.. I've found that if I go to bed earlier I still wake up at 4. So I'm having a nine o clock bedtime until LO arrives...
Xx

I might have to try the early bed time, but i was at birthing class til 9.30 last night so got to bed after 10, wide awake by 4, better than 3.30 the night before i suppose! could do with a little more sympathy from dh too! grrr
