That's the day I'm aiming for! I will be 37+3 if I go then. I really want baby to stay put to full term but want him here asap thereafter to be as far away from Xmas as possible and so that we can all go to my brother-in-law's wedding on my due date in Yorkshire!! My work have just arranged a curry night for 11.12.12 so I'm off out for a hot curry the night before to see if that can oust him! I had a spicy chilli the night before I went into labour with Ella so hoping that works but I suppose I could have a lazy boy this time round

Have they said its PUPPPs bliss? I've got this lumpy horrid itchy rash too and have been told its PUPPPs. Camomile helps to ease the itch a little but it's sore when you take it off. Mines eased in terms of itchiness over the last week and just have the rash now. Hope yours eases xx

Sorry, went to bed last night so missed your comments. I don't know about it being PUPPPs. I haven't heard of that. Will have to google it. I'm glad yours has eased up now. The rash isn't so bad is it but the itching is a nightmare! Especially out in public! Lol.
Thank you for the suggestion of camomile. Will look to get some. Doc at day assessment unit said to take piriton. Went to buy some today and boot won't sell it to me a I'm pregnant! Apparently it's not good to take when pregnant or breastfeeding! Interesting!

Random question....

Does anyone know how to tell when candy apple mixture is ready? I was making pink ones last night and ended up burning the mixture as it didnt seem thick enough..

I have an electric hob so its hard to keep it on a controlled head - had to stand at it back was killing me then they burned so I am not reattempting them until I know how to tell when the mixture is ready LOL..

Any ideas?

Yup get a cold glass of water and drop a blob into it, when it goes hard and crackles its ready (apparantly) you need to have everything ready to hand though, I'm a nightmare with sugar syrup and get it everywhere could you use white chocolate dyed pink or pink chocolate (you know like the pink pigs?) or white chocolate with pink hundreds and thousands? Mmmmmm lol

12/12/12 is the ONE day I really don't want lol, my eldest was born on 12/12/2000 so will be 12 on 12/12/12 and we have a family party planned lol, don't want the boys to share a birthday either.... poor planning on my part lol x

Its not the chocolate mixture Flips, its like the ones you get at the carnival.. Yeah when you put the water in the pot at the end it sure as hell crackles LOL - someone on facebook says cook for 30 mins which I did but that was far too long!

I had everything to hand - and managed to get the burnt candy out of the pot without any mess atall so not too fussed about the mess just dont want it burning again LOL xxxxxxxxx

30mins seems like agggges to cook it :-/ are you making it with sugar? One of my neighbours made some with melted werthers originals at halloween and they were yummy but I'm not sure how you'd get them pink? what are you making them for? x

My gp prescribed it but warned it can reduced movements as it sedates the baby so I've not taken it xx

If i go over by the full 2 weeks my induction date would be the 11th of december so maybe i could have a 12.12.12 bubs! Although i will be horrified if i pass my due date lol, im ready and waiting x

I crave toffee apples and sugar dummies! Ended up going to all the different supermarkets to try the different ones! After being in and out of hospital all weekend monitoring baby because of reduced movements had a scan today and baby is measuring 38 weeks hence the reason he has slowed down he hasnt got any room left! Midwife said everything is fully formed and we are just waiting for him to show his face!

I would love that date bubs it turning in all different directions today. she was breach this morning the went sideways, and now back head down I think. getting bad pelvic a rib pains too feel like my period is coming. can't believe I have to wait so long still!!x xx
