Sophs its amazing having a little bundle......tireing!!!! But well worth it and the labour was hard work too but worth it and I would do it again XXX Christy Leigh st Marys was brilliant and the midwifes were excellent xx nice food too... x after I had baby the midwifes were really good and let me get some rest too. Plenty of tea coffee and cereal too to get to nibble on in bed XXX am sure it will be brilliant xx

did you get to use the pool? you wanted to didnt you? i've been to the gynae unit twice in pregnancy and had to stay in and they were brilliant then so I thought as much for the maternity unit
did you stay on the midwife led unit? i dont understand how that works, do they choose where to put you when you get there???

Yeah I used the pool right up till end and then onto a bed for last few pushes to get little feet out x x think that's why it went so quickly because they ran me a bath first till I got to 5 cm then got me in pool, as I had back to back labour I was only comfy in water or as comfy as u can be in labour lol. The water holds your body weight so your free o move in diff positions xx thy have 2 pools on midwife led unit. The delivery unit is for if u need epidural or have problems before or during labour, midwife led is for straight forward births and if you have only gas and air etc. XXX it was really relaxed on that ward also xx or baby gets a little electronic asbo tag when there born to lol XXX first and last I hope xx

I didn't believe I was in labour at all thought it was BH. And I was rough the few days running up to it so you never no my lovely XXX or fully cooked lol XXX I'm like a professional photographer at the moment taking pictures of everything my little shai does XXX I've been an emotional week tody....crying at everything xx

Yeah I thought I'd be early cause bump dropped really low early on and due to everyone telling me I'd go early lol but it's annoyed me now because I kind of expected it? Although, I was originally due 19th December and got put back only to feel movements super early and the fact that I was ov testing and knew my dates plus when I took the test it would have came back negative iykwim? Sooooo I'll not be too disappointed so long as I don't go two weeks over my first due date lol if I go two weeks over after being put back I will be really annoyed hahaha xxxxx

My mw keeps talking about cycle lengths affecting when you'll go too. So if you're usually 30 days or more erratic you may go over dd as that is based in a cycle of 28. Mine was always bang on 28 days and I know my dates for certain so if I go the full too weeks over I'll be gutted too. You never know Hun 19th is so soon!! X

2 days lol, I have double checked mine and Jackson's bags are ready so I'm just waiting. Although hope I don't go tonight my radiator pipe burst and flooded my neighbour, his ceiling came down.. Trust this to happen so near baby coming and Xmas!

Oh girls it's sooo not your fault, I just know how you feel. I was frustrated on my DD, and was just like RM, super early movements, loads of BH, was SO convinced I was going early, that has made an induction even harder to face! I'm being selfish and unsupportive and I'm sorry I'm wallowing a bit. as everyone says it will be forgotten once he arrives

Dysco you are completely entitled to feel that way! I'm ready for my man to arrive and I'm only 38+1 so I can't imagine how frustrated you are! Lazy little lads, yeah although Jackson does seem to come to life about 1 - 2 am which is making me a tad nervous lol, he has only just started going so active this late lolol xxxx

Dysco I know how you feel. Tomorrow is due date. I had convinced myself id have my boy in my arms by now! OH is pissed off too because he wanted to start his paternity leave lol the way I'm thinking about it is they just must not be ready yet. Soooo frustrating when other people past your due date have their babies though!

The thing that is stressing me is Xmas! I'm all ready for it and I love Xmas but all my plans are up in the air because we don't know if bubs will be here or not (so don't know if the in laws will descend on us etc!!). I think I would be quite chilled out at 38+1 otherwise (albeit heavy and uncomfortable!) also because I was convinced I was going early I never really thought I would have a baby on or around Xmas or just after and it's dawning on me now that that is exactly what will happen! I really want him here before Xmas but not on Xmas day for his future birthdays and not on my bils wedding (30th my due date) or whilst we are away from home for that. I'm almost at the stage where I'd prefer him to be late and into January! x
