Being a teacher I understand completely! He is probably very bored too!!
How are you feeling? 4 days between our due dates so not much! It's exciting and scary at the same time isn't it?!

I hate hate hate marking coursework so feel for your OH and you been stick around him when he's marking it Sosie. My last week at work was just before we had to get it all in so every evening I was marking and annotating, Grr! Glad you got your ticker sorted Bliss x

Been to a Christmas market today and they even had reindeers!! Though I think I was more excited by my owl bauble lol! Now it's to the in laws for dinner wish me luck!!!!!

Can't believe they had real reindeers! How cool! I can't wait to go to a Chrsitmas market. Love it!! Your owl bauble is so cute! Definitely will be looking for a new bauble or something to mark this year! A pain not knowing if LO will be here in time for Xmas!! Everyone says I didn't plan it very well... Kinda just happened when it happened! Lol.

Marking is such a bore when you have to do it but I appreciate it must be tedious when you are waiting for your OH to be done. Thinking of you. Maybe watch an Xmas movie or something? Distractions!
I am having a break from teaching at the mo and so don't miss the marking! And I taught infants!!!! Goodness knows what coursework etc would be like to mark. Hats off to you guys! X

Hello ladies! How has your weekend been? I have been to swansea to do santa's bidding and today had a visitor friend who tomorrow is going to cardiff to visit our v pregnant klferrin! yay!!! Wish I was coming Katy but feel like poop! Nens will tell you how swollen I am! You could roll me down a hill with ease!

Annoyance is that my damn washing machine has broken - need to get a new one delivered and installed by the time LO comes! xxx

I have had yet another busy day, cleaning this morning, then going to buy our Xmas tree... why do men think it's such a chore to put up Xmas decorations??!! We got home from picking it up, and then he decided he needed to go back to work to finish stuff off, leaving this bloody tree in the middle of my lounge!! I find all the other decorations and do what I can to decorate the rest of the lounge and hall etc, even move sofas which I know I shouldn't. When hubby does get home he decides that after the tree is in its pot it needs time to settle and open out!!! Eventually after an hour I convince him I think it will be ok to put the lights on i now.. and that was a task too!! My tree topper doesn't fit, and I'm in my own way trying to put tinsel on! Safe to say, I've given up for tonight! I've had a hormonal break down and v tired, and then he says, "why are you crying? For gods sake it's just Christmas, nothing to cry over!" - not the sensitive response I was hoping for! So he has been banished to the other room while I watch strictly and x factor!

Sorry for moaning earlier bout the OH marking.. I qualified as a teacher in July.. So I can understand the importance of marking and how utterly boring it is but I was feeling sorry for myself.. The weeks seem to be dragging now and I really look forward to time I get to spend with the OH.. I actually started crying saying how lonely I've felt... It's really weird being off while everyone's at work.. I just make sure I have something to do everyday
Anyway been cheered up.. By the OH he's cooked me chilli tonight.. Yummy!! X

Sorry to hear you had issues with OH. Mine is the same. They don't seem to understand the excitement of Xmas!! I have these romantic views of playing Xmas songs and being really happy putting up decs together, laughing and joking, but it's never like that!! Never mind. Well done for what you did today. Careful moving furniture thou. Maybe your OH will help one evening with the tree decs. Xx

No not yet. Just feeling so uncomfortable. Going to have a bath and hope that helps. My OH and I are grumpy with each other so left him downstairs! Let's hope tomorrow we wake up less grumpy! X

Just got in from dinner at the in-laws. Urgh I don't know if it's hormones or what but mil does my head in. After OH rang and said to her probably nothing but just incase can you be around to take me to the hospital on Friday night she's proceeded to ring her two gp friends and ask their advice what might have been happening. Maybe fair enough, whatever she's interested but then proceeded to lecture me on how I couldn't have been feeling what I was on thurs/fri because she never had things like that happen and how they are OTT with their monitoring 'these days' eyc etc etc. OH said well she did leave it 24 hours before ringing about it so she didn't exactly rush in and changed the topic. Just annoys me/upsets me that I have to let them know what's happening to me in any situation like that because we need them for a lift when the time comes. Seriously considering asking my parents/sister to do it instead but they're 1-2hours away depending on traffic. Sorry for moaning ladies but needed to vent. I've told OH I'm avoiding them over the next few weeks, he can go to dinner on his wn and I'll claim I'm tired.

We're off to watch home alone though now so that'll cheer me up

Just noticed that you are team yellow too! I don't know about you but I'm feeling desperate to know what I'm having now! I don't mind with way but I just want to know!! I will be pleased at the birth that it is a surprise but I'm not the most patient person at the best of times and I feel like I have had to wait an eternity! Not long to go I suppose! X

Oh no. She didn't need to be like that. Sorry you have to rely on her for a lift. At least your OH stood up for you a bit. Good idea to claim tiredness for next few weeks. I've used that a few times too!! Enjoy home alone. Xx

Awwr honey sorry your MIL is like that.. She sounds like she lacks tact.. Mines the same :/ just ignore her.. She doesn't have a clue literally if I'm not in labour I will take you to the hospital.. We'd look a right pair 2 heavily pregnant women
