Cycle Buddies - hoping for a BFP in March!

Ho hum...got my AF today, though I knew I would really. Still, at least there is more fun to be had trying next month

You know how people who've been pregnant say that they "knew straight away"? Is that true and how can you tell the difference between being PG and normal PMT i.e. mood swings, sore breasts, etc.

Also, how many people get PG and feel fine?

Helen- Im working on baby # 3, and i think the only real way i no im pregnant without a test is that the feelings of like morning sickness and headache are more intence as to your mind just stressing you out and feeling that way.. But believe once your pregnant you will no, the first sign i noticed was, Food, food made me feel sick to my stomache, and stuff i liked just seemed distusting.
I have sore breasts now, and headaches, but i no im not pregnant, My af should be here any minute now..lol, 1 day late, but i got my blood test back today was negative still.
but like you said more fun trying..

I got a question, or like a comment and need some advice from you ladies..
Ok as you all no me and hubby are TTC # 3, and he wants me prgnant before april 12th this year, because he wants a december/capricorn baby, and its really stressing me out, im starting to get like frustrated wehn my tests come back negative, cuz i feel like my husband is not going to be happy, i no that it could be a good possibility of concieveing by the time frame that he wants, but gosh i feel that my stressing over it is going to mess up my system and not pregnent, i dont no what to do, i ahvent talk to him yet, i dont care when the baby will be born when i get pregnent, i just him/her to be healthy, what is a good way to approch him and let sorda get him to not be so concerned about the time frame, cuz its really bumming me out?? any ideas or thoughts pleassse let me know..

Before I took the pregnancy test when AF was late I asked my husband what his thoughts/feelings were regarding whether I was PG or not.

His answer was yes he thought I was. I asked why and his answer was this: "Because you haven't been moody this month".

Well it was true!

I wasn't sure myself as I thought maybe it was wishful thinking etc. and was trying not to get my hopes up.

Damn and I thought with all those hormones raging around you when pregnant that it was the perfect excuse to be moody!

In answer to the other post.... why do you think your hubby is so keen on a December baby? I agree with you, who cares when the baby is born, as long as we all get there in the end! The last thing you need is any more pressure to conceive!

Helen- i sorda asked him without makeing a big deal about it lasnight, about him wanting a december baby, he seems to think that a december baby will not be as bad as our 2 year old july baby, (lol), i said OMG, kids are kids theere going to do what they do whenever there at that age, he also claims that december baby's are calmer then other babys born id differ months, hes a capricorn, his birthday is december 26th, so i can understand the wanting the baby around his birth time, but for the other reasons, that just makes me very upset.
Hew said he will stop saying it to me and in front of me if it bothers me that much, i explained to him that it just makes me nervous that im not gonna make him happy when i get pregnant and the due dats not in december, so as long as he drops the subject with me its cool, he can think and hope all he wants...
OK today is march 3rd, 11:30am, and no AF yet, strange cuz my AF was due last day of the 29th, but since febuary only had 28 days i figured it would be on march 1st or 2nd, but her know its the 3rd.
I dont feel to stresed, and i dont have cramps, my AF has been pretty normal the past 3-5 months..
O'well - i can bet it will be here in the next 2-3 days, and probably be a very light one to.

Hi Rachel

The baby will part of him whenever it is born, even the July ones! And if it's a handful, 50% of his genes are causing it!

Are your other 2 hardwork then? How old is the other one?

Weird that no sign of the AF yet. I have cycles that flip out for no apparent reason. Last year I was 3 weeks late. Went to docs and he said the main reason to be that late was pregnancy. Got quite excited. Of course, as soon as booked in for blood test along comes my period! I think our bodies do that just to mess with our minds!

I'm adding to my stress levels by taking exams and having some building work done whilst trying. At least it keeps my mind off it!

helen- My daughter is 5, she is not to bad she is a normal/miss sassy attitude/i can do what i want girl, know,my son whom is born in july 3rd 2002, is really a handfull, he acts like a baby still, he is really active, and he dont talk yet, all he says is mama, and dada, and ba*ba, i dont no, i know boys are slow, but hes almost 3 yrs old..
Yeah today is march 3rd, going into march 4th, and no signs of AF, now i do have an appointment tommorw for an ultra sound for follow up on teh left ovarian cyst, and i have left side pain from that cyst, and i did hear that it can cause an AF to be delayed, so im most certain that is the cause of the late AF, i will no tommorow waht size this cyst is..
Ok well im off to get these kids to bed, and to bed myself night all!!

Hi ladies, Still have not got my AF, but i do have a mild kidney infection, I tend to get those about 3 times a year, y doctor gave me a referral to a specialist, because she said that its not common to get those so often as i do, this is my 2nd kidney infection this year, had one at the end of january.
That's a main reason why i have been getting headaches, and back pain on my right side, well atleast now i no, i wasnt quite sure if that's what it was becuase i didnt feel the pain when i was Peeing, (sorry so graphic), so i wasnt sure.
I'm eagerly waiting my ultra-sound results/regarding my ovarian cyst, to see if its bigger or smaller, praying its smaller..
well im off to bed just want to check in with everyone see how everyones doing.. since my AF is all dumb, ill have to do a few ovulation tests this month if i even ovulate, gosh i hate when my AF gets retarted, cuz then i have to chart and start all over again, o well me an the hubby have fun every night..lol

agnesd76-- good luck with that i hope we ALL get our BFP this month at some point, this months is all screwy for me, im not sure whats going to happen, i havent even got AF yet, and it was due March 1st, and all my tests have came back negative, im going to the doctor wednesday, im not stressed or nothing, i feel fine, i have no AF symptoms, or preggy symptoms..
I'm now just really confused, my i have not been on birth control in over 2 years, weve only been TTC for about 2 months..

hey everyone hows everyone doing? Hayley where ya at??? hope your ok and everythings going good..
Well on other note's, i still have not started my AF yet that was due for febuary 28th , and the last time i tested was on march 4th i think might of been the 6th.. my doctor said its strange but depending on my ovulaiton day which was the 12th of febuary, then it might been to soon still, im going in tommorow for an ultra-sound so ill no tommorow..
Its so weired because just like a week and a half ago i was so sure i was not pregnant, know im not sure cause my AF ain't shown up , or given any signs.
Ok well talk to everyone later..

Hi girls

Sorry i haven't been on here for a while. I'm going crazy... i'm now 11 days late. I've done 4 tests and all have been negative.
My chest is sore (just one breast) my lower stomach has been very tender with period pain symptoms. I'm even a little swollen.
My chest is getting tight in my bra's and feels much much bigger.
I've got an appointment today at 5.30 with the doctor. I am driving myself crazy wishing for a BFP.
I know i'm only letting myself in for disapointment by building my hopes up too much.

I want to pregnant so much i don't know if i'm imagining things.
All these symptoms could be due to my AF being late..
i don't know...

I'll come back on later and let you all know what results the doctor gets. Spoke to my husband this monring and
if I get a BFN we're going underwear shopping
this weekend and we're gonna test every day until I find my
fertile time then we're locking ourselves in the bedroom.
If I get a BFP we can still do it I suppose.
Kind of looking forward to that as well.

Hello Again Ladies

Just got back from the doctors. I didn't get the test I wanted because apparently they need my first urine of the day. So I was sent off with a tube to collect urine which I have to return tomorrow. Then I have to wait till Fri for the result back.... very slow. So i'm none the wiser. The test I got from th internetmay have been poor quality so i was going to pick up a clear blue test on the way home tonight but thought i'd leave it and do the test with the doctor. If my period comes before fri then i'll know and if it doesn't come i'll get the results from the doctor. I'm just worried in case I get a negative and i still don't get my period.... what then?

The doctor told me to keep trying for another 6 months before I start to apply for help. (if i'm not pregnant this time) Apparently there is no tim scale when the pill is out of our system I've been off it now for 6 months although only been trying or the last 3 months.

So i'll be back on Fri to let you know my results....

Hayley....GREAT to seee you back..so sorry no BFP yet...
And still no AF for me, which was due febuary 28th, whats up with us all this months, i took a test yesterday and was negative, i have another doctor appt, on march 28th, thats when my 3rd period of the this year would be starting if i had not missed my febuary 28th AF.
I got my ultra sound results back and i do indeed have 2 cysts, one on my left ovary one on my right ovary, both are 2.6 cm, thats not to bad at all, so on march 28th i go back to do another ultrasound to see if the cysts have shrunk or gotten bigger..My doctor said that they DO NOT interfeer with TTC or TEST RESULTS....
I have the same question hayley, ok tests all NEGATIVE, NO AF, THEN WHAT??? im starting to get real upset,i found myself crying after my last 2 tests when they came back negative..and you see i have not been on birth control in over 2 years, and i have been TTC for only 2 months.

Hope the cysts don't cause you any pain. Have you had them before? Fingers crossed they get smaller and hopefully go away on their own.. Has the doctor said that your missed period could be because of the cysts? If not and you are pregnant (maybe the cysts are causing your HCG hormone to appear low) then you would be about 7 weeks pregnant. I am really really wishing and hoping for you

Well I took my urine test in and i'm trying not to think about it till Fri. If i get a positive i'll be so happy but if i don't.. well nothing lost. Another month to try. mI'll just put this AF down to being lost/misplaced.

Has anyone has a BFP this month? it's gives us hope to hear good happy endings.

Well i called my doctor on monday, because my husband was curious the same thing, he wanted to know if the cysts can wave the results of my tests, but my doctor said no, that it WILL NOT cause anything like that, or cause any type of problems TTC, but also when having cysts, she said that you can bleed abnormally at anytime.
But im not bleeding at all yet NO AF, so she told me to take one more test on this comming monday and that if it is indeed negative, to mark this as a lost period to .. Dont that suck that all of us ladies hoping for BFP this month are having jacked up AF cycles.
See my only concern is i hate not knowing whats going on with my body , and im sure most of you ladies can say that to, right hayley? especially when our AF have gone A-wall.
My next ob appt, is march 28th, and then at that appointment im supposed to be getting an ultra sound to see if these cysts have shrunk or grown, yes they are a little painfull, for some reason the right side more than anything..
I have a question any one can please answer, i do have to kids but i dont remember any of the first 2-3 months of the pregnancy, but im curious about the first month, know this is gonna sound a bit gross so bare with me, ok im wondering about the vaginal area the moistness? during the first month is it supposed to be slimey, dry, creamy, gushy wet or what??, im to tired to look it up..lol, so if anyones knows. becasue i have noticed a lot of wetness thats a bit thick, no smell and no color just clear water look but thick moisture...(sorry so graphic)

Hi my name is Honey and I posted way back on 23 Feb. DH and I have been TTC#1 since September 2004. I had been on the BCP for 12 years before then. Last month I took my BBT for the first time and used an OPK. After all that trouble DH had to go away on the day I ovulated! Typical. We BD'ed prior to O but I gave up any hope for this month but tested anyway using a FRED (as you do ... just in case) 10 DPO - BFN. Spotted the following day and thought AF must be on her way. Bizarrely, had no symptoms whatsoever whereas usually I do. My cycle was slightly longer this month and whereas I thought AF was due on 12 March because I used an OPK I could calculate that it was due on 14 March. I didn't bother testing, I didn't have any symptoms and thought we'd missed our window of opportunity. Anyway to cut a long story short I've just got back from the docs who has confirmed my BFP! God willing I'm due on 16 November. So there you go ... hang on in there ... it really does happen when you least expect it! And as for pregnancy sysmptoms, I don't have any!

Congratulations.. bet you was shocked.. Just goes to show that it can happen when you least expect it. I love to hear stories like that. makes me believe it will happen to me one day. If you've been reading the forum you'll know i'm waiting for my test result back from the doctor. I'm 13 days late for my AF. I truelly don't believe i am pregnant because we decided we'd give Feb a break from trying so hard! I should have been due my Af 4th March. We decided we get that one out the way then start fresh with the OFK. I didn't even check in Feb if i was O! We did the baby dance around the time I would be O but I don't know if it was a few days either side or bang on the date...

Anyway I get to find out tomorrow. Don't feel pregnant (never been pregnant before so i don't know what i'm supposed to feel) I've got no real symptoms (period pains and one tender breast) But that could be due to my AF being so late.

I bet your made up thou... Have you told anyone yet?
