*****August 2014 Mummies*****

Me too Mrsm. A lot of pains too :-/ Hope you are doing better soon

Ooooh ladies things are starting to happen for some of you, so exciting to read.

Will be keeping a close watch on thread for updates.

Could someone resend link to Facebook group, as I'm sure it was many pages ago, be good to keep up with you all and share any issues etc after babies have arrived as there isnt really a place on here to go after we've all popped

Hope that works?
I'm sure there will be an August mummies type thread in the baby and toddler section of the forum once a few more of us have popped! But feel free to join the fb group too!
Hope u r doing ok hun? How's Ethan?

Sprk and mrsm- sorry u r both feeling so rough! Hope it either develops into labour or settles down so u can get a good nights sleep!

I'm going to watch the bake off in a min- love that show! But it does always make me want cake!! :-/

Thanks mum2b.
I'm going to see if I can time my bh( hard to do when I don't want to think about them). There never been his painful before. Not sure they a regular though. An hour ago they were every 5 min for 30+ mind now I think they've slowed down. But the pain down low doesn't really fade. Ugh Can't stop feeling like I need a wee (tmi sorry), but there's nothing there. Oh this turned into a proper moan lol

Sprk- def try timing them! Ring labour ward for advice if not sure!

Mrsm- :-( Hope u can enjoy the cake tomorrow if u feel too sick now *hugs* xxx

Sounds like it's getting interesting for a few of you ladies! Much more fun now it's our month, watching out for other people's labour threads is making time go a bit quicker for me!!

Not much to report here today. I came down to my mum's late this afternoon, the drive took 5.5 hours because of traffic and caleb needing a wee twice, and this house is an oven! We're sharing a room/bed so have the fan tonight while mum is sleeping over at work (she works at a residential home for young girls) but she'll want it back tomorrow so I need to buy another. All argos stores within a 25m radius are sold out, fantastic!

Watching one born at the moment, makes me so excited to meet my LO!

Evening all. Not posted in here for a few days.

It all seems to be happening now doesn't it! Not sure I am going to make it to due date to be honest and looks like a few others will be early too!

I am coming up 37 weeks now (Tomorrow I think) and I had my 36 week midwife appt yesterday. LO is 3/5 engaged now! I knew something was up as I had been legging it (waddling) to the loo loads at the weekend and Monday night was beyond a joke. I think I went to the bathroom over a dozen times overnight. I hardly slept.

Right now I have BH on and off throughout the day. My lower back is constantly aching and my pelvis feels like it is about to split in two. Actually my pelvis really is painful now and it hurts to walk and stand. I saw my chiropractor today who said it was in a bad position and she did some gentle movements to get it back in alignment. I have to go back in 2 weeks to see her again unless young William has made his way out. In which case it will be a few weeks after the birth to be made human shape again :D

Hoping to keep him in there a while longer but several people have commented now saying they think he will be here within a couple of weeks.

Oh and nesting!? So far this week I have cleaned the oven until it was spotless, cleared out the kitchen and bathroom cupboards, had my mum over to do the gardening with me and hoovered the house about 3 times, including the curtains and corners of the ceiling to get any 8 legged squatters. My mum said nesting really annoyed her but I quite like it. Hoping it is a trait that stays! I love having a clean house and not having to bribe myself in to doing it!

Well, averaging near 10 min apart, but not getting stronger. Going to try and sleep it off - if it won't let me, I'll give a ring. I don't think this is it though.

Update....I'm still around. Sleep ok last night but been up since half four and things are still about the same. Going to tescos later this am ( walking is nice) and will the ward after if things don't settle. Something tells me we won't make it to dh's appt tomorrow. Would hate a long drive in this condition. Lol

Good morning and I hope every one has a great day :-)

Morning! Can't get back to sleep after second loo trip :-/

Sprk- sounds like a good plan hun! Hope things progress for you.....def don't do that drive if u r having contractions!

Ft90- how crap re a fan! I hope u get one! I couldn't b without one at the mo!!

Saxelby- sounds like u r making good progress hun :-)

Well 41 weeks today for me! Wish I had something positive to say but my mood is pretty low right now :-( I will try to keep a glimmer of hope and stay patient but basically- this sucks!!! X

Hope u r all in a better frame if mind than me today xxx

I hope that little lo of your shows soon! I forgot what the plan was for you re being overdue. Keep your chin up.... Can't stay in there forever ;-)

I keep hoping to see that you have gone into labour mum2be. It's not fair, sending lots of labour dust your way. Can't wait to see everyone's babies xx

Sprk - hopefully this is the start for you! Fingers crossed.

Mum2b - I really feel for you being overdue in this weather! At least on the plus side you know it's not going to be too much longer.

I feel like a zombie today. Caleb was kicking me in the ribs and kept me awake until I finally passed out about half 1, then he was climbing all over me at 6:45. Normally he sleeps until half 8 but when we're in bed together it's all fun and games! Definitely need movie time and a nap this afternoon!

I'm a tad worried, movements have reduced and u don't even feel pregnant. She does kick but it's nowhere near as much as normal, even after a sugary cold drink :-/

Gunna keep an eye on it til lunchtime and then if she still hasn't moved a lot call the mw or MAC

Thanks coco and ft90!
Just done my 41 week bump pic- only one more possible pic to go!!

Mrsm- def call them if u feel worried hun- hope she has a good wriggle round soon xxx

Glad to hear she's kicking, Mrsm :)

Tescos was a bad idea lol. It wore out dh, as he refused to go sit down. He felt he had to be next to me the whole time to 'help'. Nice sentiment though. I spent most of the time leaning over the trolley, to ease the pressure on my back. Still feeling a bit nauseas, crampy, achey, and you get the idea lol. Going to see how it goes for the rest of the morning. Peaking dh to the gp at 1, so if I'm not more comfortable by then, I'll give the ward a ring. I think maybe I'm in denial about being in early labour lol.

Hello lovelies,
Aw bless us all, we're all just getting a bit fed up aren't we? :(
I'm feeling like a whale!! If you saw my photo in the FB group you'll see I resemble one too!! lol.
Keep getting random pains but they don't turn into anything. Period pains, back ache, pressure in bum & feeling quite sick! :(
Have 38wk midwife appt this afternoon, we'll see how that goes.
Just feeling so big and tired and can't do much, quite frustrating!

I think we're all starting to get the same symptoms now don't we, think its our bodies getting ready - fingers crossed it won't be too long for us now!!
