Happy Friday guys!

Currently trying to reach over my laptop to write this with little feet in my ribs!! :)

Had my 34 weeks midwife appointment yesterday. As usual I forgot to ask the questions I was going to lol. Transferred to a different hospital so happy about that. He's still head down thankfully and head right at pelvis so he's in the right position. Measuring 35 weeks which Im still shocked about as I feel so much bigger lol. Everything else absolutely fine.

I'd walked to the clinic and on the way home it was so so hot, I started to feel all dizzy and light headed and kept having to stop. I was getting quite worried incase I fainted and was on my own. It was awful. When I got home I went to lie naked on the bed for a few hours to cool myself down!

I posted the last of my hospital bag series on my blog today if anyone fancies a nosey - http://www.thebrunettesays.co.uk/2014/07/pregnancy-hospital-bags-3.html

mum2b - Aw I was super proud of Bradley he did really well! How are the pains feeling now??

Mummymidwife - How strange that you can't watch OBEM yet do that for a living!! Pregnancy does strange things to us hey! It makes me so so anxious!! Weird because when I was pregnant with Bradley [10 yrs ago] there used to be a channel called Discovery Home & Leisure that had a programme on all day during the daytime of women giving birth, very much like OBEM & I sound everyday during maternity watching them, yet I can't watch OBEM without getting scared!! Probably because I know whats coming lol.
Ah its Bradleys last day at school today so Ill be glad of no early mornings or school runs for a while too :)

Weezy - How are you feeling now hun?

Zoe - Hope tomoro goes well as bridesmaid hun and you're not too uncomfortable and in pain!!Urgh ignore your OH, Ive had a moan at mine this morning too, I forgot to do something yesterday and his response was 'but you don't do anything all day'! I was fuming!! Nope I don't do anything, no sports day all morning, or midwife appointment, feeling poorly afterwards but still managed to keep on top of the housework and making sure you've got uniform for work everyday, whilst struggling being heavily pregnant in this heat, with ripped stomach muscles and feeling exhausted all day, no I just sit on my arse all day now clearly. Sorry Ill stop now lol.

LilMiss - Sooo exciting hun, hope your little one shows up soon for you and gives you an easy ride!! Lots of luck hun!!!

Have a good day everyone.

Zoe- u poor thing! It sounds so uncomfortable the position he's in :-/ No wonder u r struggling with food and being sick!!..... Hope the wedding goes well tomorrow! V cheeky of your OH re chores- I would b half tempted to do nothing but I know the mess would get to me too!! Glad the pedi was relaxing :-)

Lilmiss- I replied in your other thread hun! Hope scan goes well! Thinking of u xx

Still feeling uncomfy and crampy myself today but I'm seeing it as a positive that my body is perhaps doing something! Might have to have a couple of paracetomol tonight at bedtime if it continues- its weird coz obviously not had a period in ages but it feels like I'm about to come on! .......Def not looking forward to the return of AF once bubs is here!! Xx

It really is hotting up in here. Hope all those with signs all the luck if it is things kicking off for real.

I think we all feel a bit down for one reason or the other but we are almost their ladies! Last hurdle now.

I met a friend today and the rain forced us into an indoor play centre - my worst nightmare on best of times let alone with spd etc etc. Little one got stuck up and i had to send friend up to get her down. But back home now to the safety of sofa lol. Although bubs is sooo low im struggling with even sitting these days x

Hello , so exciting reading this thread everyday now to see what everyone is up to... Was an early start for me today, went to chiro and had combination of manipulation, massage and acupuncture, my oh my she hit the spot with the needles and it was very umcomfy but that's what is meant to do and I should feel the benefits tomorrow :)

Also had a home visit from the perinatal mental health nurse, she is so lovely, we started a therapy called ITP which is excellent for mums with depression and we'll do it for 13 weeks, can't wait to see her again on Monday so we can continue. Also doing with her EFT therapy for anxiety - specially for labour , all in all I can't fault the support I am getting.

Have an extra 2 kids today from lunch time til 7pm, my friend asked if I could have them as she was stuck for childcare so although it sounds crazy it has been working ok as they are playing well with each other so I have managed to snooze on couch, bought everything to make them spag bol but feel so knackered think I will just drive to mc Donald's with them. Bad mummy/auntie I am , but with this pain and all I will allow myself to be lazy.

Mum2b, hey hun that sounds fantastic that you're cramping etc, I know is umcomfy but hopefully is all getting ready for things to happen :) you might be the one with the labour thread soon eeek! I am not looking forward to getting periods again, but cause I BFed long term I didn't have a period between my 2children and then only got it again when Emily was 1... So if I do the same this time I will hopefully escape it for another year ! And thanks bout the sickness comment, it really is just a few weeks from feeling better!

Littlemiss, super über excited to hear if things are going to happen sooner rather than later, if it does I hope it all goes very smoothly for you and little Charlie arrives safely and healthy :)

Weezy, thanks hun, but it is hard to stop nesting cause I feel a bit better and then I over do it :-/ ah poor you, this PGP business is awful, getting in, out or turning in bed is mission impossible really for me. But it sounds like you are really suffering if you can't move, I hope you have stopped work now? I know what you mean about feeling down and not wanting to moan here but the support here has always been so amazing I think you should :) I got my photos yesterday and that cheered me up, you'll soon get yours too and hopefully they will have the same effect on you !

Zoe, I can imagine the heartburn with a breech baby, everyone says how umcomfy it feels with head up , can only say I hope he moves and gives you a bit more space... Pedicures are God sent in pregnancy, it instantly lifts your mood doesn't it? Go for massage, get pampered anything to get us through this last bit :) as I said above on this post I can literally fall asleep in the couch if with 4 noisy kids around lol

HanSam, oh no bout softplay, I met a friend who will also be my 2nd birth partner on Wed in soft play and was just thinking how nice it is to just sit down for 1hr without moving at all as my kids can just play by themselves etc... Was thinking oh no... Next year I will go back to chasing a little one again... I remember well being pregnant last time with an extremely active 1 year old and spd , ouch. I hope you have recovered from it all, here the sunshine has been amazing , I am looking for things to wash lol shame about the rain there, hope the sun will come out for you tomorrow.

Off to mcdonalds soon, hope everyone else is ok xxx

Hi all. Just catching up with events of the day, sounds like people have been busy. Littlemiss, hope you get sorted in some way, sounds like you won't be waiting till 37wks.

Spent most of day at hospital. Anathestist happy I can have epidural if needed as will go in higher than surgery scar. OHs colonoscopy has come back clear just diviticulitis (can't spell) playing up again, so relived as he'd been having a bit of blood in poo he hadn't hold me about.

While there we bumped into girl from nct who I had coffee with on tues, she'd had a sweep which had made her bleed badly so has been told to stay in overnight for monitoring, all getting very very real now, still don't feel ready for ours to come.

OH sleeping on sofa so when he's awake think well go out for tea, talk on here of pizza is making me think that might be a good idea.

HanSam- I couldn't brave softplay at this stage! V impressed u did!

Mummy_midwife- thanks hun. Cramps have been near constant all day and have just had a paracetamol and got my hot water bottle on to help. This is going to be hard to endure for weeks but if that's what it takes for my body to manage it- so b it! Going to n gutted if I do go through weeks of cramps and pains and still get induced though :-/
U r not a bad mum for going to maccy D's!! U r heavily pregnant and in pain- b kind to yourself!!..... What r those therapies then? (Not sure on the abbreviations) Wish we had more support down here :-/

Kaffee- great news re OH and also your appointment! Good that u have the option of an epidural if u want it! Xxx

Hi everyone. Haven't posted in this thread for a long while, as I've been posting in the high risk section. Hope everyone has been doing well. Not sure what to make of what my body is doing lol. Bh on and off everyday( worse when I lay down!), bump is achy, tmi but feel like I always need to poo, and lo (while she is head down) keeps moving down and then back and then down again. I really wish she would just stay put! I can't imagine having to feel like this for a few more weeks lol. Get physio tomorrow for my back too! Oh the joys lol

Sorry if this sounds like another bit of a moan from me , but I am writing it all with a smile hahaha. Only a week and a half of work left and then it get to put my feet up and rest....looking forward to that :)

Hey mrsm! U have been busy again! Don't know how you're doing it?!

Sprk- hey hun! Don't worry about moaning- we all are in here I think! I've been having cramps and braxton hicks all day today and feel bubs has gone low down! Hard to know this can go on for weeks before the real thing but at least its the last bit now eh?! Hope physio goes well tomorrow and your last week or so at work goes quick! Xx

Good idea keeptrying!! Sorry u have been so sick today hun :-/

I'm looking forward to being able to lie/sleep on my front again! Miss that sooo much!! Xx

Heyllo
Mum2b, all sounds very encouraging, go baby go ! You know where I am any time day or night ! The therapies are interpersonal psychotherapy , it looks at key relationships with others , the strengths and problems and how others may assist in your recovery, it is similar to cbt but it looks at my role transition of having a baby and the people/relationships around me. I am really liking it :) the other is Emotional freedom therapy and that works for anxiety with repetitions and acupressure points exercises you do when you feel
Anxious. The kids enjoyed mc Donald's and I am not exhausted and stressed so was worth it!

Kaffee I am so glad all went ok with your OH, it must be such a relief... Now that's behind you is that a waiting game for bubs :)

Sprk so nice to hear from you, I am constantly moaning so don't feel bad, otherwise I should be banned from thread as I probably moan more than anyone else :/

Keeptrying sorry about being sick hun, I felt really nauseous and was about to twice but managed to keep things in, hope you are ok now. Such a good idea I am looking forward to so many things but if I have to choose - a bottle of wine all to myself :)

Have done a bump pic x

Mum2b- thanks. I hope work goes quickly too! Our head teacher just put out the dress code for everyone and leggings have become a no no one her list. Bad news for me, as that's about all I can wear lol. I have one maxi skirt, but the weather seems to have turned chilly...so it ain't happening lol. I'm so paranoid about my waters going early (tmi but keep leaking watery cm) that I'm always rushing off to check lol. I hope your bh ease up soon.

Keeptrying- that steak and sauce sounds absolutely delish!! Hope you're feeling better soon.
