Ladies the loveliest thing just happened- hubby felt baby kick for the very first time!!! Lovely moment- so happy

My hubby has been desperate to feel baby, I think it was 17/18 weeke before?, so a little bit of patience and we'll grt there like you
So glad you had a lovely time last night, my kids always eat more when we are out

lilmiss sorry to butt in but what you are describing sounds very similar to my ibs pains. I get it just before bed and just after I eat last for a few hours then goes. crampy but also feels quite pinchy? I'm new to the ibs stuff (i got diagnosed in jan but it started when i was last preg) but those are the only two types of pain im sure is my ibs. it's just evry other time i get a twinge that it worries me lol.

Oh right maybe it is I didn't know it could just randomly start. My mum and my daughter have ibs my daughter was born with it and quite severe. It would make sense with why I'm worse after my evening meal. Can I ask was there anything you could take for it while pregnant xxx

Well i've stopped taking my meds it says "there is not enough evidence about taking these while pregnant" so I don't want to be a guinea pig! so paracetamol helps quite a bit. I imagine as the baby is growing it is squidging the digestive tract. My mum has IBS too. I have good days and bad days with it though. Eating things that are easy to digest helps. and a hot wolly bottle! I hope that it is something simple and nothing bad. I find standing around a lot makes it worse and lying down makes it better but IBS can go both fast or slow iykwim mine goes slow!

It's sounds about right to me I do remember saying I felt like I had an upset tummy but I didn't. Hopefully it is that and nothing to do with baby. I can happily live with belly ache if it's not baby related. I do find myself laying in bed when it comes as it helps. Maybe I'll go see the doc see what he says xxx

I have IBS too hun and u can get all sorts of crampy pains and sharp pains from bowel spasms and trapped wind etc!..... I sometimes find peppermint tea can help so might worth a try? Glad u have OH around for most of week to help keep u busy xxx

Thanks hun!.... I bet it won't be long before your hubby feels your little girl kick.....u have even felt hiccups haven't u? Don't think I have yet!..... It was a lovely moment tho..... Needed it after a crap few weeks! Hope u r feeling a bit better today xxx

Trapped wind was my first thought I lay on my side for ages but no help. I'll try the peppermint tea tho see if that works thanks hun xxx

Hey mum2b, yes I felt baby girl hiccuping, very sweet can't wait for hubby to feel something! You definitely deserved to have a lovely moment like that after the last couple of weeks
I felt great when I woke up but within 5 minutes DH ordered me back to bed as I was looking grey and felt really tired suddenly... So came back to bed, kids off to school and had a very deep 2 hr sleep so now I feel much better thanks but not doing much again today, just going to chill .

Littlemisshopeful, I too have ibs and sometimes I wonder if I am in labour is that bad, but then it settles. Hope you are ok .

Glad u r still resting hun! I'm chilling out whilst little man napping- been a tough day so far as he's been bouncing off the walls like he's on a sugar high ( he's not I hasten to add! Lol!) So we've been out and about to burn off energy but I am shattered!...... V much looking forward to the weekend with my cousin with a proper lie in and she says she'll look after me! Lol!....My hubby does try bless him but hard for him to focus on me with Ethan here!

I'm waiting on tenterhooks for my bestie to have her baby......she lost her plug last night and has seen consultant this week and they are all expecting baby to come in the next day or so! She's already been in for monitoring today as baby was going hyper! But they think its all ok! Excited for her but also just want her to have the baby now as she's had a tough old ride this pregnancy with ovarian cysts and SPD!

Keeping fingers crossed that Lottie is ok! Maybe she's just being kept in for monitoring and doesn't have access to internet? Xx

Aw yes, my Emily was very chilled but Aaron was never still so I remember well being pregnant with a 1yr old who would not stop bouncing, biut he'd have2 1/2 hrs nap after lunch so used that time to chill like you
I hope you have a lovely weekend when you can let others do the running around.... I am also really looking forward to our weekend away, well deserved after all this crap I have been through IMO it's a hotel resort that has heaps of adult and children stuff on everyday, cannot wait

I hope your friend has her baby soon , spd isn't fun! Does she knows what she is having? Exciting.

Mb is a point that lottie may not have Internet access, hope all is well tho :/

Hey girls. . Sorry not been on. Not had a fun night/day. !!

But Baby is okay. !!! Heard hb a few times. And had internal at hosp. Cervix closed. Which was a relief.

But im still in tonnes of pain and there seems to be no explination as to why its so painful. Hospital are waiting for my results back.

I feel a bit better now i know baby should be fine. But im concerned as they havent saod whats going on.

Ouccchy!. Hubby really woried hasnt even taken the piss out of me (so he must be worried lol) .

Sorry to have kept you waiting girls. Felt pretty down today!

I went to the shopping centre tonight for maternity wear as things are starting to get tight. Got loads of cami length vest tops from primark and some waterfall cardigans, the best buy was two pairs of maternity skinny jeans................£11 each!!! Even h&m's are £30 well chuffed. They are navy and actually really generous in size

I have a wedding on 8th March, no idea what to wear yet !

I have pretty much slept all day and in bed already feeling sleepy, so glad I can rest like this, DH and kids have been fab, hope I will feel normal again from tomorrow , my eyebrows need threading desperately so fx I can finly get out the house tomorrow

Thank you hun the support on this forum is fantastic I'm at home now everything is looking good so far. Having a scan on Monday ish. I hope all goes well with your guys esp those having problems can't believe its so many of you! I also didn't realise how common ibs was! GL to all of you rest well x x x

Mrs m - they sound like great bargains.

I have only brought 1 pair of maternity leggings 3.99 on eBay and they go up to plus size - yay. Not actually buying any maternity clothes, me n my sisters are all plus size, but after I lost over 3 stone I became the smallest and got rid of all m big clothes - my sis with no kids has had a sort out and given me loads of tops n maxi dresses to see me through, they don't look too big because I'm taller than her so hang different.

Haven't been college today, after an among bday tues, woke up yday with a throbbing headache, back ache and hip ache, and again today, I look n feel crap. - my mums made me a drs appointment for tomoz to get Bp checked ( eldest sis had pre eclampsia with both pregnancies) to make sure it's ok. OH Has been brill he was off yday and on a split today, making sure I'm ok and letting me sleep all day - and he's full of cold. I must be poorly cuz my boy cat won't leave me alone and keeps climbng on me and curling up - he's not a marry cat.

Hope everyone else is doin ok.
Hoping this Tri 2 glow everyone goes on about appears soon lol
