Feeling much better, daren't tell the oh as he's got the cotton wool wrapped tightly enough around me at the mo!
Now on holiday till the 23rd so plenty time to shift cold and catchup on sleep. Also got the dentist, my gums are sore.. Apparently v common but I'm awful at the dentist xxx

Just something to amuse you ladies !!

Laid in bed this morning, OH brought me toast & a brew up ( as he does everyday) I know I'm spoilt.

He gets back in bed and says can we start trying for baby number 2 in SEPTEMBER. Seriously, I know I don't want a big gap between my kids ( if m blessed to have anymore). But a month after this ones born !!!!
Told him he will be putting someat on the end of it or going without!.

Just thought it might cheer u all up seeing as some of you are having a. Really crappy time at the mo

Aw wow Lanny, he is keen lol I bleed for weeks after having babies and am usually quite sensitive down there for a while, so no chance for baby making straight away!

Hi girls. Is it blowing a gale with you all, took us 2 hours to get home due to fallen trees on train line and soaked to skin by time we trudged home?

Zoe, sorry you're being kept on tenterhooks about your OH being deployed, looks like the weather might be kinder to us next week, but if he's going to the Thames area it floods for quite some time. They will probably want to use the military for clean up too if they can. Must be tough being without him.

Mum2be - sooo pleased bubs is fine, rest up and let hubby take good care of you.

Wheezy - you poor thing, have managed to avoid throwing up so far but have come close a few times on the train in the morning, my mum told me the other day that she was more sick in tri3 with me and my sis, so hoping I don't follow her!

Lanny - I can't believe your OH said that to you this morning. That just crazy!

Got a wedding this weekend and still haven't found anything to wear, starting to panic now, might have to hit the Next website tonight!

So after some more fishing about I heard the sounds of the sea then a faint sound of a train. Thats the heartbeat right??

Inkfairy that post made me chuckle. I dont have a doppler myself. But thats pretty much what i hear at the mw. Nabys heartbeat is pretty fast train. And sometime you cam hear your own which sounds reeeally dlow in comparison. I cant wait to hear the hb!!

Hope everyone got through the gales okay today. Thankfully no damage just an upskittled cat for us.

However today i have never been so ill in my whole life!!

Thanks Lottie sorry to hear you aren't very well.. My midwife told me it was too early to hear a heartbeat.. I'm only a day behind you! Hope you get better soon x

I know people who have heard the hb at around ten weeks. I think it depends on the doppler and where the baba is. My husband banned me from buying a dopler otherwise id do a little experiment too ha (might go and buy one for a treat lol) x x

I figured if I bought it then told my oh he couldn't say anything I've looked at YouTube and found videos and comments that sat the sounds I hear could be my own heartbeat so now I'm a bit wary of what I heard. It seems faster than my own but not like a full speed train! So who knows x

I have to say it does seem hard to find the heartbeat but keep gping and youll def find it! i was shocked how fast it is its literally comstant beats where as mine was slow. youve got me all excited im off shopping hehe xx

I decided skve college today - the thought of 11 hrs standing in a hot salon with loads of chemicals just wasn't appealing.
Coupled with the fact I have to pack for mine & OH weekend away & an MRI scan at 7.50am tomoz. Just CBA to go.

Having said that I'm laid on the sette under the blanket with both fur babies (cats) snuggled on top of me he he. Really should go & pack at least, I also need wax my eyebrows & remove all my piercings ready for the morning.


Also remind me not to drink a carton of pure orange before bed cuz that made my bedtime sickness worse lol.

Happy shopping! My mum just called to say she's bought a cot this morning! It was second hand local to her for £15 but needs a new mattress. She lives in Scotland and is coming down next month and so far is bringing a rocking horse, Moses basket and a cot! I'll need an extension on my house once she arrives. I think she's a tad excited at being a first time gran! She sends me parcels every now and then with baby clothes and bits in and wants to go shopping when she visits! I find out the gender four weeks today hopefully!!
