******August 2014 mummies******

Thanks Magdalena! I'm getting there slowly......hope u r doing OK hun xxx

Girls- do u think I should be worried???..... Everyone talks about how active their babies were at scans and its not that ours wasn't active, it was kicking a bit and moving its arms and did turn over but I wouldn't say it was really active!..... No one has said their was a problem......just don't know if I should b worried??? Xx

Mum 2 b. I do.t think thats amything to worry about hun. Our bean didnt even move. Not one inch lol. But heartneat atrong amd possibly mobed its arms a bit. My dd scans were more wiggly. I think if there was a problem they would have told us!?.

Your further on than me. Are you feeling movements. As so far ive felt nothing. :s. . do you have a doppler. I think im going to buy one as im a teeny bit in need of some reassuranve too xxxx

Thanks Lottie.....good to know its not just our bean!...... I am feeling some movements and have been for a few weeks, would love them to b a bit stronger/ more regular tho!..... I am wondering if this baby is going to b more like my hubby- completely laid back! Ethan was more wriggly on his scans and is a very energetic child! Lol!
I am just a worry wort and these things do make me question if all is OK! Xxx

Hey i know exactly what you mean. I would like to know wether i have an anterior placenta again. As skye was very active but i hardly felt a thing compared to what we could hear on the ctg. Honestly i was a nervous wreck all preg with her.

Us mummies do have so much worry ha. Yeah might have a laid back little girl in there!? Ha.

Just ordered a doppler without telling hubby arrrrrgggh! I feel like a pleased withyself but slightly naughty child :D

Do not think is anything to worry about mum2b, our baby was not moving much either, arms and legs going after sonogropher woke them up... One of the women before me had to come out the scan room and get some lucozade to see if baby would wake up so I think it is quite a common thing... If there was any concerns they would had said so.

Lottielou, I think you will love having the doppler, I don't think I would have survived these last 6 weeks without the reassurance it gives me; I can feel baby moving but like mum2b it is not very strong (although defo is moving ) nor regular yet so the doppler comes in handy :)

Thanks hun.....good to know! ......I am in two minds about Doppler......with the scare this week my OH was desperately trying to get one before we had the scan just so we had some idea but couldn't! .....I will c how I get on this week coming- seeing consultant and midwife.....if I'm still worrying a lot we may take the plunge and get one! Xx

In my opinion, if you got to 16 + weeks without the doppler and can feel baby moving I don't think I would buy one now unless you are in desperate need of reassurance ( I suppose we always are ha ha). You will hear heartbeat this week with midwife and I think that you will be getting more regular movements soon.

See how you feel this week hun, and if you think it is needed obviously get one :)

My Doppler has been a godsend, if I didn't have it to listen it every few days I'd be even more of a stress head then I already am lol.

Took DS out for the day today since my energy is beginning to come back, was nice but OMG am I exhausted!!!

A young girl in her 20s was knocked down local to me this morning, she died, she was 7 mths pregnant with a baby boy. I feel so so sad!! How awful :(

Thanks mummy midwife. Yep i cannot wait to get hopefully some reassurance. . I bet ill get a lot of use out of it. Because i cant feel anythimh and a week and a half til 16 week mw appt. Im way too impatient :) inkfairy made me want to buy o.e with all her exciting doppler talk. :)

U r prob right hun.....I was just thinking in case I had another bleed and got stuck in a panic situation again......but yeah, prob not worth it now I guess!

Happy- good for u getting out! But that is so tragic regarding that girl! How awful :'-(

Really sad for her poor family. The world can be so cruel.

Yes happy. Bless em. I hope he will have a little try ha.

Im hoping ill start to feel baby soon but i thought for me it would be worth it as throughout last preg when i didnt feel movemt i paniced so im trying to save myself future worry haa. Xxx

My tummy button area (inside) feels really sore - should I be worried??

I don't think so happy- its prob just some more stretching going on in there.....does it help to change position or maybe try a hot water bottle? Xx

The sickness saga continues with me, I am seriously considering complementary therapies to see if I can get rid of it or at least alleviate it; DH is a little skeptical about it but I am willing to start looking around now, very desperate for it go :(

I did am odd thing today (bored and not much to do) decided to pee in a stick lol I always heard people saying the the lines on the pregnancy tests go faint if you are further on in pregnancy so I have a few clear blues left in the house so did use one and wow the pregnancy line was almost black instead of blue lol the control lines were the faint ones so now I can say this theory isn't always true. A bit pointless I know but not sure what to do with the tests kicking about in the house :)

Mum2b , I can see how you would be reassured by having the doppler there just in case, if you decide to get one you can always sell it on eBay when bubs is here and get some money back :) I would have gone demented if I didn't have mine :p

Happy, how very sad about the girl, I saw it in the news, devastating for her family :(
lots of ladies complain of belly button pain, although I have never experienced it myself I know it is a very common complain indeed so don't worry, it is all probably all the stretching going on in there.

Lottielou, I think oh will love hearing the heartbeat so I am sure he won't mind you sneakily getting one :) let us know how you get on.

Mummy midwife your levels of HCG are probably higher than most as its common with hyperemesis. Perhaps the reason why you are still feeling so poorly as dropping levels usually mark the end of sickness etc dont they?

Sorry you're not any better, I was much better but have had a bad few days. Went to bed at 530pm yest and slept on and off till 530 this morning! Really want to feel better. Am 14 weeks so hoping I'll feel a lot better in a few weeks.

Happy that's awful makes you realise how fragile life is. Tragic xxx
