Our scan was fine, we had a consultant and she never really told us anything other than everything was perfect. Baby gave us the thumbs up which was lovely.

Congrats Alan that's great news it's such a relief isn't it? X

It really is, she was 15 mins trying to get all the pictures of the heart but it took her 10 mins before she said that everything looked fine she was struggling to get the baby to sit properly. That was a long 10 mins for me. Mrs C couldn't see the screen so she was none the wiser. x

It's is a horrible wait isn't it. On ours they couldn't get her to sit right so we had to go back after 2 weeks for another scan to see the spin longest 2 weeks ever! U can start to enjoy it more now over half way there! X

No question is silly in my book! Glad I know something this time round that can b of use!! Knew nothing last time! Lol!

That's great Alanc! Congrats! Love the pic- v cute! Shame they didn't have 2 screens- that's what we have at ours- one that faces the sonographer and one that faces you. Its hard when they r quiet and don't tell u anything- makes u think something's wrong but I guess they r just concentrating!!

Hope everyone has the lovely weather we do today? Just had lunch as a picnic in the garden with Ethan :-) Hope its like this Easter Sunday- we r doing him his first proper Easter egg hunt!! Xxx

Hi, My name is Becky and I'm a 20 year old University student living in Edinburgh.

Last month, on the 2nd of March, my 21 year old sister went into premature labour at 21 weeks. My nephew Gary survived for 1 hour and 4 minutes before he sadly passed away.

When Gary was born my sister and our family were placed in The Benson Suite at Salisbury District Hospital, this suite was created to provide a dedicated and private space for families who have experienced the loss of a baby. They made it so we could spend every possible precious minute with Gary in a way that was dignified and personal. The staff on the Benson Suite were absolutely fantastic, going above and beyond to help us and support us.

I cannot begin to express our gratitude for those that helped us, they really were amazing. It's these sort of people you don't know exist until something like this happens, and although I hope and pray none of you have to go through what my family have gone through, I hope you can appreciate the help and support that is available for those who are experiencing grief.

Therefore, I was wondering if you could take the time to visit my fundraising page for The Stars Appeal - Benson Suite. My family and I will be participating in a sponsored walk in June and are trying to raise as much money as possible for this fantastic cause.

Thank you again.

24 WEEKS TODAY :) :) :). How did that happen so fast lol !

we are in southampton this week - the drive down on sunday was good took 4 hours with 2 stops :).
on the first night here at OH dads when we went bed bump was having a good old wiggle about and Oh finally felt it :) he was sooo excited that yesterday he brought a pair of Vans crib shoes for bump lol. he also brought me 2 pairs of vans & a pair of dr martens boots ( feeling very spoilt).
also had bad news yday my friend was unfortunately killed in a road traffic accident, she was only 29, but was a top girl, a qualified nurse & true friend x as u can imagine tht was a shock!!!.
deffo makes u appreciate the little things. so when OH mum keeps calling bump a boy im just gonna let it slide as much as it annoys me.lol xxx

Mine was the same Alan, she was face down, then with her back to us then legs curled up. Naughty baby. She had me moving my hips around she had me laid on my side at one point to get all the pics she needed. Everything is fine and baby is dead on where she should be

That's a lovely photo and great news that everything is spot on. They didn't ask my wife to move her hips this time but they had her lying on both sides.

Hey girls hope ur all ok? This is going to sound like a stupid question but what does heartburn feel like?! Never had it before and the last 2 nights it feels like a tightening round my rib cage/ chest bone about 20 mines after I eat? Best way to describe it is like when u have eaten really chunky chips quickly and they feel like the lodge half way down? That may sound mental but only thing I can relate it too! Xx

Evening all, haven't been on in a while so it's good to catch up. Congrats on recent scans.

Keeptrying - that sounds spot on for heatburn, it's more of a discomfort / pain than burning. I get it at top of cleavage / top of my ribcage.

I'm getting really breathless and my heart palpitations (I have SVT) are really ramping up after years of not having many, so off to walk in doctors Thursday morn to see what they say, hope it's nothing as don't want to be classified as high risk as hoping to swap to a midwife led unit when I swap doctors and midwives after house move.

Other than that all is ok, still packing up the house for move in two weeks. Bubs is giving me full on doofs in the tummy most early mornings and after lunch, which is good.
