Officially mrsm that is really cute ... I love them, particularly the wall stickers I would be lost without my maternity pillow... I think DH would too as when I come back home from night shift and he is bed he is hugging the pillow lol

Me too every morning he steals it off me when u get up and has a 10 min cuddle with the pillow!!!! And if he is poorly he sleeps with it all day!!!

Just had my scan and he is deffo a boy everything looked good but got to go back in about 10 days to check his heart he was being naughty and wouldn't move lol xxx

Just got back from my mw appt......Stand in mw who was lovely- everything ok and had a good chat about movements and stuff that might help with giving birth after my episiotomy last time round!..... Next appt at 28 weeks- bloods again to check iron levels and antibodies!.... Def all starting to gear up a bit now! Can't believe a few more weeks and it'll be tri 3!!!

I had a growth scan this morning and all is well, is defo a boy (sonographer did a close up of between his legs), I wasn't quite sure what we were looking at all the time but he did give us a wave and is growing well so I was really happy. My blood pressure, blood sugar and urine is all good so happy bunny today. Go back for another scan and everything in 4 weeks time.

The obstetrician is going to call me this evening after he gets my results as they are checking my booking in bloods to see if I am immune to chicken pox as was with my little niece last weekend and on Tuesday she was diagnosed with chicken pox. Hopefully I am immune and all is fine.

That's good donnah!..... I could b wrong but I think we r past the stage when catching chicken pox would be really bad for baby......Hope u r immune though of course xxx

I had a lovely time with my daughter but am paying for it now I'm exhausted so deffo an early night for me. We took her to the scan with us and her face was worth all the money in the world. Made her year I think xxx

Trying to catch up heartburn is impossible at night time now, never had it in my life, 1st pregnancy I come across it and not liking it on a brighter note I am feeling a lot less depressed, going away helped massively!

So glad appt went well and midwife was nice also só good oh could come with you, I don't think my DH ever came to any mw appts apart from booking ones last times but none this time... don't think I mind but it would be nice for him to show interest in baby , which has been near 0 this time compared to previous 2!

Morning all, good to get back on here and find out what's been going on. Weezy that made me chuckle, grapes and gaviscon, yum!

Mummymidwife, I'm the same sleeping despite having a preggo pillow and starting off on my left I wake up flat on my back, too uncomfy on left. Glad to hear you're feeling better, part from the physical sickness, booooo to that.

Can't believe I've got to 24wks, it's gone so quick. Feeling baby kick and punch me more, which is reassuring.

Weezy, I need to get some gaviscon! My thing is green apples ATM

Hey Kaffee, thank you hun... I would love to sleep on my tummy but I have an extra firm mattress and it just gets too umcomfy so I try to stick to side lying but I can't help rolling onto my back during sleep...

Can't believe you 2 got to v day already, it's gone in a flash the last few weeks, it must be great feeling knowing that many babies born at this stage do well; can't wait for mine next week!

Glad all went all at scan and you got to see your little boy close up also it must be nice to know you will see him again in 4 weeks!

Bless u mummy_midwife- replying to everyone! .....Thank u! Tri 3 thread- thats a scary thought! Lol!..... I dont mind doing if no one else wants to? Its a few weeks off yet so if anyone wants to - feel free!.........My OH doesn't show a huge amount of interest but I like having him with me in case there is something wrong!

The heartburn is awful- get a massive bottle of gaviscon on prescription hun and keep swigging! That and Rennie tablets got me through it last time......this time I suffered a lot early and now it comes and goes but I know it will get worse later :-/ Hope it eases off for u!

We have had lovely sunshine today! Sorry Edinburgh not enjoying the same! Hopefully u will over the weekend xxx

Sat here with a hot water bottle on my sacrum trying to soothe my SIJ's :-/ These aches aren't much fun.....hope I can keep it all manageable!

Donnah - I too think we are past the stage where chicken pox is harmful, best to be safe though. Good to hear that everything else was fine
Mum2b, happy belated V day! What an amazing milestone.. I'v only a week to go great news about midwife.. I keep thinking that not only will I be 28 wks at next appointment, more that I'll only have 12 weeks to go!! Time is moving so fast just now can't believe we're this far in

I'm having a bit of a rough time at work just now.. Unsure if it's hormones or justified feelings though. As some of you know I'm an area manager for a ladies fashion company, a year ago I had 35 stores in the South of Scotland, which then grew around 7 months ago to 150 across all Scotland, but I have this week had every city down to Liverpool added on as well as the Isle of Man. There are 3 people covering South of Liverpool, and only me North of- surely this is a little unrealistic that at 6, 7, 8 months pregnant I'll cope with the added stress, workload and most if all travel. My line manager is on holiday so waiting until she comes back to find out exactly what the expectation is. I've never been as unmotivated as I have been recently. However.. Shall battle on until I get some clarity on what is expected.

Sorry to rant, times like this I wish I could have a wine! Ah well, the amount of grapes I've been eating recently might eventually ferment in my stomach, lol xx

I am seeing mw on Monday and getting a bottle of gaviscon then, I can now sympathise with women telling me all about heartburn as luckily I had no clue what it is like before... Also getting my matB1 form ... It's all getting very serious and exciting.

No sunshine here but maybe it will come at the weekend, Edinburgh is lovely but sun can bit a bit shy here

Mummy midwife if gaviscon doesn't work ask for omeprazole tablets, I was drinking gaviscon by the bottle until I got the tablets last pregnancy. My heartburn has just started too, I hate it. If not hg it's heartburn xx

Weezy, that sounds like too much if you ask me and it's unrealistic of your work to expect that from you. I would speak to your manager and if no joy get your GP to write a letter explaining about PGP and how travelling would adversely affect you and your pregnancy ? So sorry you are going through this, not needed added pressure x

Aw kenga, nice to hear from you will give gaviscon a try if not, I have omeprazole in the house and will pop it down if no joy, thanks for the advice hope you are ok hun xxx
