Woo Purplesocks another team blue.. Blues must be catching the pinks now :)
Keeptrying I'd have this over sickness any day of the week. It's painful but manageable thankfully at the mo.
Glad your feeling good Lanny.. I am too actually minus the PGP and a few unexplained depressive days where hormones have taken over :) and omg even more lol at Hightower.. You could be pushing out a huge baby if it takes after daddy!!

I'm struggling to find motivation for work today.. My boss is on holiday so I've a lot on my plate this week, really need to find some motivation though and get moving.
Is anyone else finding work becoming mentally more of a struggle..? The fact that I could potentially finish in 7 weeks for a year just sounds soooo good right now. In reality however there's no way I could, believe it or not I love my job and plan to only take a max of 10weeks maternity all being well. Other half has always always wanted to do the stay at home dad thing, and I'm not sure I'd cope mentally looking after baby full time without working. I also earn far more than he does so financially we'd be considerably worse off if I stayed home. Do hope this passes!!

Hope you all have a good day ladies xx

The Mrs felt movement for the first time last night. She was delighted :) She just wants a big bump now and she will be happy.

Hi all, on my way down to England to stay with a friend and kids; I too have had an awful 24 hrs with sickness, been up most of the night throwing up and again twice this morning after taking my anti sickness tablets, and now on a train feeling sick and clutching onto my sick bag, hope you are better Keeptrying, this is awful!

Purplesocks yay for more boys !!! Congrats on little boy.

Weezy, I am sure your bump is lovely hun, I think my bellybutton is extra deep lol as it never pops out or go completely flat, it just about changes a bit at term... Although it isn't the norm ... Send us a pic! Work is becoming more physically tiring as I am just starting to feel a little heavy and my bump gets on the way of many things now lol

Oh sweetie! Y wont your sickness just bloody do one!! Just when u didn't need it as well! Change of scene was meant to do you good but when u feel like that you just want to hibernate!!......Get the ice lollies in and try as best u can to get some rest hun.......thinking of u and sending lots of positive vibes your way xxxx

Weezy- my belly button never popped with my first, just went flat.....this time it has already popped a bit at the top and looks so odd to me! I particularly notice it after my dinner! lol!

I can't believe how knackered I am getting just walking about now......walked with Ethan in the buggy to Tesco and back this morning (probably about 45mins walk in total) and I feel exhausted! Granted I have done a few chores as well and been over to see the hubby at work for lunch, but if I'm like this now I dread to think what I will be like in tri 3!!......My hips and pelvis are also starting to really ache with lying on my sides at nigh too :-/ I have a pillow between my legs and one across the front of me but I still get achy, it's not good :-( How r u all sleeping now that bumps are getting bigger?? xx

ThAnks mum2b :) I have to sleep with a pillow now as my hips hurt too :( no one ever tells u all this stuff do they! My hips have like a pain inside them if I sleep on one side to long is this the same for u? Xx

My hips hurt when I've been on my feet all day. And I get backache too :-( been sleeping with my v shape pillow for a while now.

On a plus side, these arrived today :-)

Aww v cute mrsm! Is the nursery to b Disney themed? Xx

Keeptrying- yes inside and on the bony bit on the outside too :-/

Bambi themed :-). I've got some coffee colour paper with cream stars on which matches the bambi bedding perfect. Just can't find a bambi mobile so I will have to make do with a mamas and papas jamboree one

Ouch ouch ouch. Gone away with my daughter for a couple of days. In a lovely hotel in reading. Spent the day doing some serious shopping and arrived at the hotel about 7pm. There's not a part of me that don't hurt. My lower back and hips owieee and my feet erghh. I'm that tired now I don't think I'll even manage a bath and that's unlike me as I love them and don't have one at home. Now tomorrow a day in London how the hell am I going to manage that.
We was getting the train but for my comfort I'm going to drive and park near a tube station that the line I want runs through so will be easier but still omg. I'm loving spending time with her and she keeps asking if I'm ok but I'm gonna need a holiday after this lol ouchhhh xxx

So the day started off at badly but has ended well, I was eating haribos constantly all morning and they worked better than my tablets so the sickness has left me, at least the throwing up or I am going to throw up sickness... My friend's 8 month old baby girl is adorable and I pretty much did everything for her, feeding, changing, rocking and I realise how ready I am to have my own baby girl :)

Keeptrying I so hope you are feeling better, the one thing we can say is that when we are sickness free each second is so precious and you realise how wonderful it is to not feel sick :) hugs to you

Mum2b I defo think that the change of scenery has helped after all, my kids get on so well with my friends kids as they have known each other since they were in uteru and are all the same age :) thank you for your positivity and it has reached me!

I def feel in the last week I have started to tire more easily and today we walked kids to the park and my friend was pushing her pram away and me telling her to slow down cause I couldn't keep up, my pelvis has certainly been feeling the weight ... In bed I have had my maternity pillow since week 11 I think ??? But I really need loads of pillows between my legs and this side lying business is not working, my pelvis hurts, I wake up all the time flat on my back

Officially mrsm that is really cute ... I love them, particularly the wall stickers :) I would be lost without my maternity pillow... I think DH would too as when I come back home from night shift and he is bed he is hugging the pillow lol

Xxxx

Morning all..
Will catch up on thread tomorrow but my god do I feel like a steriotypical pregnant woman right now.. 4am, been up for an hour and a half, sitting in the lounge with a bottle of gaviscon and grapes I've been craving.. Lovely !! :) xx

Morning all, good to get back on here and find out what's been going on. Weezy that made me chuckle, grapes and gaviscon, yum!

Mummymidwife, I'm the same sleeping despite having a preggo pillow and starting off on my left I wake up flat on my back, too uncomfy on left. Glad to hear you're feeling better, part from the physical sickness, booooo to that.

Can't believe I've got to 24wks, it's gone so quick. Feeling baby kick and punch me more, which is reassuring.

Weezy- lol! Bless u! I was up around 4am too- desperate to get comfortable in bed! Hope the gaviscon and grapes helped u feel better :-)

Kaffee- congrats on 24 weeks! I'm 24 weeks today and feel a little sense of relief that baby would now have a chance if it were born!..... Happy V day!

I thought my movements were getting in a pattern but last couple of days has thrown me a bit..... Def still feeling him move and kick but its either been a bit less, at different times to what I was getting used to or I'm just too distracted to notice! .....Hard not to worry......Got midwife tomorrow so I'm going to ask about monitoring movements now and when I should be concerned. Hopefully all will b well at appointment! Xxx

Put my bump pic for this week up in the thread if anyone fancies a look xx
