That's lovely weezy :) mum2b hope your scan went well hun ?

I am feeling really low, my mood is in my boots at the moment, only got dressed to go to work this weekend? Rest of the time just in the house feeling upset :( hope everyone is doing a lot better than me :) much love xx

Congrats weezy! Straight to the loo after you got out the scan room I'm sure!

Looks like I get another three scans :) wasn't expecting them, thought last week was my final one but it seems as I'm now under a consultant they want to scan me every 4 weeks to make sure everything is ok...

Sorry to hear you're feeling low mummy, hope it passes soon!

Congrats Weezy! We got on well too- all ok! V relieved :-)

Mummy_midwife- so sorry hun.....think we r feeling similar right now :-/

Definitely something in the air mummy midwife, these hormones are a total bugger :(
Glad all went well mum2b, and fab to hear about your extra scans inkfairy.
I was just glad they didn't put me on the scales again today, not sure I could have coped with that again !
Just shed a tear after hearing of Peaches Geldof, so sad :( makes you think huh xxx

I know, it's really tragic. A horrible cycle and her babies will also be growing up without a mother, heartbreaking.

On a side note,
I've been chatting with OH and my mum about re-usable nappies.
Has anyone used these before as I am really curious but absolutely clueless! Mummy midwife any tips as I know you've spoke about these before? Xxx

Evening all. Good to hear scans went well, congrats on team blue weezy.

Lottielou, can only assume suicide from the press references. Only just read article written by her about loving being a mum in a magazine last week. Poor boys.

Hope you feel better soon mummymidwife xx

Just catching up on thread. Sorry to hear a few of you are feeling down. Try to keep smiling - hard with all these bloody hormones and if have things going on i know.

Sad news about Peaches and her kids soo young.

On a happy note all went well at scan and we are Team Blue! OH is over the moon (he didnt want to find out but now glad as its a boy) and means def no more hahaha x

Congrats HanSam!! Welcome to team blue!..... I need to get updating front page again!

Inkfairy- great about extra scans- lovely to c bubs again!

Re Peaches Geldof- I'm so shocked! I read her column in mother and baby just the other day! Its so so sad. If it was self inflicted she must have been in a very lonely and dark place to leave those two boys behind! Just tragic :'-(

23 weeks today :)

See the consultant this morning, hoping we get to hear baby's heart beat today.

Hope everyone doing ok ?

Hi there ladies,

First off, congratulations on all your august bumps!

Is there room for one more August mummy-to-be? I just found this forum when I was googling sneezing in the second trimester (it's driving me mad!!) and am glad I stumbled across it.

I have a son who just turned two in March and am expecting a baby girl on the 9th of August, which makes me 22.5 weeks (can't believe how fast it's all going!). I'm also a teacher and we live in London.

Looking forward to getting to know you all.

Hi Serendipity!

Congratulations and welcome! I find this forum very comforting and informative, although I rarely post I'm constantly browsing and find the forum full of useful info. I'm sure one of the ladies will add you to the August list :)

Welcome Serendipity, glad to see everyone's scans are going well, lovely pictures.

Our scan is a week today with a consultant, does anyone know if the scan is different with a consultant rather than a sonographer?

I just found it a lot more efficient and knowledgeable Alan, the consultant who scanned me was brilliant and really put our minds at ease xx
