I was as sick as a dog yesterday so I know the feeling hun :( I have bought a couple of things but the one thing I am going mad on is cloth nappies, I am completely addicted to them again :/ also I have been given loads of baby things by friends to the point I don't know what to do with them storage wise x

Thanks girls :) although looking at both urs seems as tho I have a lot of catching up! So jealous of them they both look so neat and lovely! Mummymidwife will it ever end?! I literally projectiled as soon as I sat up! My poor hubby didn't know what to do bless him! Xxx

Hi girls,

Hope everyone's ok? I need to go have a big catchup on the thread, apologies for not being around!
Sorry to hear you's are still sick mummy midwife and keeptrying.

I'm really seriously suffering with PGP and migraines, havn't wanted I post as have been so sore, grumpy and negative the last few weeks, but, tonight for the first time my OH felt baby kick :) :) so amazing to see his face! It really does take all the pain away. I've been working the last few days up in Inverness and Wick, in the very North of Scotland, about a 6hr drive away, had a horrid few days away and have been worried paracetamol I've been taking for PGP wasn't good for bubs, OH had a bath run for me coming in and it was as if baby was telling me to chill out as he is fine.
God that was emotional!!

So nice to be able to post a happy post !

I'v included my week 19 bump just about to add to bumpy pics, still huge but who cares :)

Xxx

Woops here it is :) x

xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Aw girls thank you , you will soon have big bumps, my mum
Was like that for ages, but suddenly she just grew and grew :)
Keeptrying I don't know if it will ever end, but I do feel loads better than a couple of months ago so taking comfort in that.
Weezy, so sorry you are suffering so much, sounds really bad, hope it improves... Are you wearing a support belt? Glad you got to feel baby kicking, that's always so a amazing :)

Lottielou I didn't buy much 2nd time around apart from girls clothes and bits and bobs (had a boy 1st), having to buy things this time as kept nothing so starting from scratch... Save money if you can hun and spend on nice outings with the family, the baby will know no different if she is using new or not xxxx

That makes me feel better lottielou! I kept seeing everyone's proper bumps and thinking I'm no where near that! Reassuring to know ur the same! Feel better now that I've had my scan too. Do u know what this bump is or is it a surprise?
Hey weezy sorry ur suffering think I'd rather be sick than have the headaches. Although I'm so used to puking now it's routine! R u going to find out what ur having? Xx

For starters I'm on my second and mummy_midwife her third- so we would both b more prone to showing earlier anyway and second- there r lots of ladies that don't show more til later- I have a friend who didn't really show til she was 6 months with her first! And third- I'm due over 2 and a half weeks ahead of u hun......sometimes a few weeks make a massive difference! Bet your pic when u r 23 weeks will show a definite difference to this one!

I really feel for u girls with HG.....must b awful! I hope it gives u a break soon xxx

Aww how lovely! It really cheered me up the day OH felt bubs kick for the first time :-) ......The pain sounds awful- but don't feel bad about coming on here and moaning! Sometimes I think this thread goes quiet- either coz people r doing great and have no need to post or because they are feeling rubbish and don't want to rant......but actually I say rant away! We're all in this together and having some sympathy and understanding can really help!...... R u seeing physio hun? ( sorry if I have asked before!) If not u can self refer in a lot if places now- might b worth it to c if u can get a support belt and some advice?

Hope u get a quieter spell at work with less travel- sitting travelling for that long can't b helping xxx

Oh and I commented in the bumpy pics thread- your bump is great! Really lovely shape :-)

Aw keeptrying, not that it's any help but I'm v jealous of how neat you are! As much as I love my bump it's more than likely contributed to my early PGP which really is not fun.

I've got a girdle support belt and crutches have been ordered for when it's bad mummy midwife. Still managing work etc though so trying to soldier on without over do'ing it. Starting pilates in 2 weeks and seeing physio fortnightly! Thought I was over reacting to a sore back as so many people had told me it was part and parcel of pregnancy, so quite glad to know that this is not the case :) xx

Thanks mum2b :) we must have been posting at same time there. I love having bump and not having to breathe in after a meal haha ! You're so right about ranting, but wouldn't fe nice of me to moan when everyone is happy and excited about scans :) Fx'd that's the start of big kicks and they'll be a cheer me up on a bad day :)
You've rounded out beautifully the last week or so, looking amazing ! Xxx

Thank u hun!
Glad u have got a belt, physio and an action plan with the classes and crutches on order!.... U r almost half way now so just think it'll counting down til bubs is here and body getting back to normal rather than up! :-)

Hi

Had my scan today. Managed to stay team yellow although very tempting to find out. All went well. Have anterior placenta so guessing that's why I haven't felt anything yet although while we were in the waiting room I did feel some popping.

Has anyone had any dry skin on tummy and boobs? I had been using palmers and was fine but few weeks ago this dry skin came up. Looked like I was peeling. I tried derma mum and still dry. Bio oil made me itch. Now on Nivea soft and has nearly gone. X

Congrats hun! Glad all went well! Well done on staying team yellow!..... My skin is quite dry this pregnancy but I'm on bio oil now! Do u think u r drinking enough? I know I need to drink more! Could help? Hope its all better soon with the nivea xx
