What complimentary therapies are u thinking of hun? I didn't know u could use them for morning sickness! So sorry its dragging out so long......u gotta hang in there, u have come so far and been so brave *hugs*

Thanks mummy midwife. Yep i cannot wait to get hopefully some reassurance. . I bet ill get a lot of use out of it. Because i cant feel anythimh and a week and a half til 16 week mw appt. Im way too impatient :) inkfairy made me want to buy o.e with all her exciting doppler talk. :)

mum2b. . Man im such a sneak lol im hopimg when hubs sees how exciting it is he'll probably think hes some sort of midwife if he has a go lol when i get it ill tell you what make exactly but sonoline i think its called.

And hello magdalena :)

:o

Me?!? Lol. It is fab tho. I love having one. And now I know I have found the right train to listen to its really soothing. Even my other half hasn't grumbled about me having it although hasn't yet listened himself. But when I had a quick go before bed last night he said was everythin ok in there after I had finished :)

Which one did you buy?

I had belly button pain a couple of days ago. Was quite surprised at how strong and sore t could be at times but it eased off after a day. I kept telling myself it was stretching otherwise if just panic and worry. I did read though that sometimes it's a sign your belly button might be getting ready to pop out? Not sure what week or stage that happens tho. X

Oh no for the sickness!! Hope you start to feel better!!. Can tou get some anti sickness tabs. Someone on here was saying they were good!?.

Ha yes you inkfairy. . I started watching the vids on youtube to refresh my memory on the hb and strayed on to amazon and ooop a doppler jumped into my basket :D. its a sonoline. . . .. Something lol. I should get it tomorrow eeeeeeeeek.

Has anyone had anythoughts on staying team yellow or defo finding out. . .

God im a nosy cow lol hope your all doing okay xxx

Thanks hun, There are so many therapies that claim to help but the one I am considering is reflexology , there appears to be very limited evidence on it working but I think I will give it a go; there are many reflexologists but one of the ward sisters where I work is a reflexologist and a very experienced midwife so I do trust she knows what she is doing so might need to convince DH to spend the money on it :)

Mummy midwife your levels of HCG are probably higher than most as its common with hyperemesis. Perhaps the reason why you are still feeling so poorly as dropping levels usually mark the end of sickness etc dont they?

Sorry you're not any better, I was much better but have had a bad few days. Went to bed at 530pm yest and slept on and off till 530 this morning! Really want to feel better. Am 14 weeks so hoping I'll feel a lot better in a few weeks.

Happy that's awful makes you realise how fragile life is. Tragic xxx

Hey hoping for no2, thanks hun, I am sorry you are still suffering with it too; I really did think things were better for me but I have one good day then 5 bad days :(

I know what you mean about feeling normal, I would love that too and I am in bed early many nights then wake up at silly hrs like you feeling sick yuck !

Hoping we can get that relief soon hun xxxx

Well I hope it works coz u have been suffering ages and if it helps its worth every penny!

Lottie- we def wanna know blue or pink......way too impatient! Plus we want to tell Ethan if its a baby brother or sister! Xx

I thought I was improving as well, til today when I just threw up all over the coffee table, nice.
Never had sickness this bad last time, it went away within a normal time before, and I'm just so sick of this now!! Suppose I wouldn't mind so much if I had a bigger bump and more movement but really it feels like the sickness is the only reminder that I'm actually pregnant! People are actually shocked when I tell them I'm nearly 17 weeks! xx

Its crazy isn't it how pregnancies can b different! I def wasn't as bad with Ethan as this one......I still get nausea and wretching but I think its maybe more to do with my infection and perhaps antibiotics than the pregnancy!..... Let's hope u r all going to turn 'the corner' soon coz we could all do with a better time of it!..... Maybe this means we'll all get easy labours?? Lol!! Xx

I bought a Doppler yesterday and can't find the heartbeat. I am not worried as I know it generally cant be heard till roughly now, however the one I bought from Mothercare said can be heard from 28 weeks, is this right? I wouldn't have bought it if I had read that bit. As I am overweight that will make it harder I guess.

Well decided to take my pooch for a walk as he hasn't been out most the week with hubby been away and the weather! And I've only gone and fell over on my side :/ got no pain or anything but I'm rhesus negative can this affect anything!? Xxx

Oh no Zoe- how hard did I go down? Was it soft ground? Maybe call epu for advice? I'm not sure hun xxx

It was like soft mud I slipped and Fellon but it is all chalk underneath its on salisbury plains :( worrying myself and hate ringing and feel lie I'm wasting people's time xx

Sorry zoe- fell asleep! If u have no pain or bleeding hun I'm sure its fine. U wouldn't b wasting time just ringing for advice hun......that's what they r there for xxx

Zoe, i am sure it will alright, I would just ring though and get advice :) hope you are feeling ok, it always so frightening to have any falls :/

Leesey, I know ... It's just rubbish to be sick at this stage in the game grrr I think you have a big bump though :)

Mum2b, I was so spoilt with a very quick and easy labour last time that I am not sure if I can get lucky again? Fx we will x

Woohoo happy always nice to get past tri 1 :) thanks ladies I haven't rang I fell asleep on sofa I feel fine getting twinges but that could just be stretching if it's still there in the morning I will ring doctors xx

Glad you're OK zoe xx

Mummy_midwife- I would love an easier labour this time round but I'm not getting my hopes up! Just to go into labour naturally at the right time would b a start!! X

Evening ladies. Haven't been on in a while with working and wedding last night. Hope you're all well and had good weekends. Currently sat on my own in nandos in central London as down here for work. Will scuttle back to my room straight after and get into my nighty and do my nails.

Not much to report, still not feeling baby yet, though have the odd pops, but could just as easily be wind as I'm very trumpy lately!! Contemplating buying a Doppler but think I've just got to be patient till kicks kick in!

So been thinking about 20 wk scan coming up (must ring hospital to make sure I'm booked in), OH really wants to find out what were having but I'm still not sure. I like the romanticism of not knowing, but I'm really curious and the practical side is making me think we should. Canvassed friends at wedding last night and it was mostly half and half, most found out with their second for hand me down clothing reasons. What are people doing?
