***April & May Mummy & Baby***

I've forgotten what a hangover feels like! I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

Had a good night last night. H slept from half 8 till 12:50 and then from 1:30 till 5! I can cope with that.

We're off to our signing class soon and it's raining so heavy here. I'm bound to get wet. We're also off shopping this afternoon for a few more holiday clothes. H is growing out off all his clothes so fast!

Have a good day ladies :) xx

Not bad night here

She went down badly :( so 10 till 2.30 then 4.30 but took a while to get her back down gone 5 then a resettle at 6 then woke up at 7.45 just got her to sleep on me (still in bed) oh is off so we've had a lazy morning he's just walking the dogs and I'm going to jump in the shower.

It's bloody awful here today :(

Well done Sophie! Super mum status handed out! The thought of 3 mile run sends my legs to jelly atm :o

I'm starting with a bit of a sniffle hope it doesn't amount to anything.

I do enjoy a good winter. Love watching the wind and rain whilst I'm snuggled on the sofa with a hot coco! Lol

Well H is still doing well considering he's in this leap. Slept 8pm til 3.30 drank 6oz, woke up briefly thinking it was play time which was my fault as I was bouncing him trying to get his wind up lol popped his dummy in stroked his nose and he nodded back off til 7.30am.

Ladies with huge long babies, do you use a baby bouncer (chair) is so which one. We have the sunny side safari for H but its fairly short at the feet which has been a problem until now. I've noticed he has cuts on the back on his ankles, the only place he could get them is from picking his legs in his bouncer and hitting the vibrating compartment of the chair. So I want to get him a longer chair, as he loves sitting in his chair to watch telly with his brother in the morning. I need one with a long foot rest, if that makes sense. So what do you ladies have?

I have nothing planned for today, spending the morning with OH before he goes away to Manchester for the week :( that's gonna be testing. I'm on my own in the day with H but at least OH takes over for an hour when he gets home, now I'm on my own.

Also quickly mention H is almost rolling over. He's managing to get his bottom half over, but struggling with his shoulders. As soon as he realises he can move his shoulders i reckon he'll be over! He's growing up way to fast!

Well we had another bad night second night running its so not like Rian to be like this i really think hes coming down with sonething.

I posted on fb this morning its a yr today that i got the shock of being told i was pregnant i still cant believe that day one of the best of my life xx

Hey Emma - I've got 3 - all for different reasons!

http://www.kiddisave.co.uk/chicco-mia-bouncer-chick2chick.html?gclid=CNrtjfbnz7kCFfQetAod0icAIQ
It's less like a normal bouncer - more like a really comfy chair for them. It sits them bolt up right and then reclines to flat if needed - so if LO drops off, you can unlock it and slowly lay it down so they can snooze easily.

I've also got this one:
http://www.mothercare.com/Mothercare-Bright-Stripes-Bouncer/568590,default,pd.html
Which is very bouncy - and very reasonably priced

And lastly this one:
http://direct.asda.com/Bright-Start...8-05eff6da2486&istItemId=qrplxqwi&istBid=tztx
It vibrates and is great because the bar with toys on it is easy to reach and Joshie always gives them a good bashing!

Chezza -3 chairs, lucky jj? We hardly have room for the one we have.

Which is this one Emma. Not sure if its what you need though as Harry's only short and so his feet don't hang over yet. We also have the same swing, just in sand stone colour.

http://www.mothercare.com/Bright-St...erry-Park-Blue-Bouncer/526361,default,pd.html

Have you thought about just using a bumbo seat Emma or do you want something for comfort?

H is loving his bumbo now :)

We had a fab morning at our class. H was very well behaved and I was a proud mummy. I'm a little sad that we'll be missing next weeks class.

Went shopping, picked up a few bits but the weather was horrid so have come home and done some more shopping on the Internet. Just hope it comes before Friday morning now. Hopefully it will.

I've ironed and packed H's clothes and am seriously putting off doing mine and OH's. I hate ironing! :( x

We had a better night but still not great. We were up multiple times.

I'm so tired I just drove down a one way streets wrong way! I don't know why I did it! Sleep deprivation xx

Yep 3 - but I didn't pay full price for any of them - and I've just given one to my mum, so he has somewhere to sit when we go over there :-) I absolutely love the Chicco one though - it's awesome!!

I went out this morning to pick up a few bits for JJ, without any success again. I'm looking for nice comfy trousers for the winter - I don't want jeans - and I just cant find any I like. The only ones I like online are from Next and the sizes I need are all out of stock. Grrrrr.

Mrs Hope - that's not good!! I really feel for you hun xx

Chezza - some woman had to stop me and tell me. I know that rd is one way but I don't know why I did it x

Hi girls,

Are any of you giving your lo's juice yet?

I'm Just asking as my sil asked if gave T it yet as he's now 4mo, we're not as I wanted him to be able to hold a sippy cup, but he hasn't got that kind of grip just yet. I assumed it will come with weaning tho.

What do you think?

Xxxxxxxx

Evening all,

Pinned to the settee by my baby trying not to sneeze!

Been and got a black out blind for Libsters room also got a 0-6 month gro bag in 2.5 tog she's not going to be big enough for her 6m ones for a while.

Libby doesn't have juice but I do put water in her tommee tippee sippy cup for her to mess with.

Also bought some cheap boots bottles to see if she likes those any better than the others I've got.

I give H cooked boiled water either in a bottle or out of a doidy cup - I'm just waiting for his grip to get better too, before giving him a tommee tippy cup.

As to juice though I don't plan on introducing any yet. H drinks water just fine so I don't think there's any need to yet.

Mrs hope I'm sure we've all done crazy things when we've been sleep deprived. I once ran a bath for myself and thought the cold water tap was the hot. I got in the bath and had the shock of my life!

Thanks chezza and stargirl. Chezza I'm looking for the mother care strip one you have only I'm greedy and want one with a toy bar! Stargirl I want it for comfort really, for him to chill in when he's starting to get sleepy. Plus he sits in it in the morning and watches tv with his brother. It's just a shame that most bouncers seem to be so short in the leg area.

Mrs hope so to hear about your incident. I pray each night that he sleeps well! I don't ask for much lol

Stargirl I'm sorry but that is hilarious! I've done things like put the remote in the fridge or left the house keys hanging from the lock on the outside! Sleep deprivation is evil.

I don't give H juice, I just give him water from his bottle. He's the youngest on this thread i think so he's not ready for sippy cups or juice yet.

Well it's official ladies I'm now a temporary single mum, well for a week anyway. I honestly crapped myself when he left, not sure why, I raised my eldest on my own. Suppose it's different this time, I now have 2 children to look after!

Thanks girls that's good to know!

She actually said it in a way that all 4mo have it so I know I'm not the only one wanting to wait.

Xxxxx

Stargirl sorry but that made me chuckle!!!

xx

Nope, no juice here - water only! :-)

Emma - what about one of these:
http://www.mothercare.com/Obaby-B-is-for-Bear-Bouncer---Blue/853852,default,pd.html
http://www.mothercare.com/Cosatto-Bobbin-Bouncer--Knit-Wits/516366,default,pd.html

When you said you were a temp single mum, at first I wondered what on earth had happened to OH! Then I re-read lol. How is he after his accident by the way?

Had a nice busy day today, now chilling out with my feet up watching Aussie Masterchef :-) xx

Yyyeeesssss!!!! Another Aussie master chef fan. I frickin love this show. X
