I’m laid up in bed sick today, feel utterly drained and still so nauseous and then I feel guilty for being off work feel like all I do is moan lately I just want the enjoyable part to start soon! Xx

Definitely dont feel guilty, you are genuinely not well so you need to relax and get back to normal as best you can

Everything was fine measuring 13+3 today and joining night owl and IVW for due date of 13th April xxx

So I had my scan today, measured at 13 weeks so I can join you lot on here!

Thanks Hun, we have decided to find out at 20 week scan and save the 50 quid we would spend on a gender scan, we need to do so much work and decorating in this house ASAP, I wanna try and get it all done before Xmas so I can just relax! Are you gonna book one? Are you hoping for a girl or boy? Xxx

We’re just holding out for the 20 week scan and even then the oh wants to prolong us finding out for an extra 9 days because he wants to do a gender reveal on his birthday in front of our friends

Our friends are like family to us and he wants to share this moment with them - if I wasn’t pregnant, you would think he was gay

Do you think if I asked the sonographer at 20 week scan to write the gender on a piece of paper and put it in an envelope for me they would be ok with that? I know it sounds silly but the one I had at my 12 week scan was a bit narky lol, I might then give the envelope to my mum to arrange a gender reveal for me xx

That’s what we are going to do, but I will actually take a piece of paper and envelope in for them, as they shouldn’t have to worry about that imo - they are doing you a favour after all x

Well the OH definitely wants to know and he would prefer for us to be a bit more prepared, so I would say I’m 95% up for finding out, I think everyone or most people find out early now xx

I was adamant BB I was going to wait until my 20week scan ( which is actually when I'm 19 weeks) but we caved last night and booked a gender scan for 3 weeks time!!! Was only £40 so my thoughts were that I would normally spend more than that on a night out!!! It still just doesn't feel real for me at the minute so I'm hoping finding out what we are having will help!
