Oh no!!!
It feels very surreal that this is what I will be doing in the next couple of days!
I'm just so uncomfortable tonight. Got my pre op this morning too so I think that's been playing on my mind. Hoping to catch another hour before the kids wake up. Hope your back to sleep soon too xxx

Pre op brings it all back I wish I could just go back and relive it every day!!!

Thankfully our hospital only keep you in a 6 bedded ward for 6 hours post op then it's all individual rooms. Not sure I could cope with the snoring haha! Hope your OK xxx

Bloods and swabs taken, then they have given me ranitidine to take tomorrow at 10pm and Friday morning at 6am.
I have to be at the hospital for 7am eeeeeek! I am feeling so nervous now! Xxxx

Ahh you will be meeting your new baby boy very soon, I must say I’m kind of jealous of these chilled out planned c-sections

I’ve just had a sweep with the midwife, she said I was 1cm dilated so could do the sweep, I did have pains on and off last night like period pains so maybe that was the start of my cervix getting ready eek! Got home from the sweep and seen brown spotting, so I’ll just wait and see if anything happens over the next few days now! I’m so scared but excited too xx

Haha its all very surreal to be honest, it's a very different way to be doing it. I had pains on and off all last night too and horrendous back pain. Thankfully it didn't turn into anything haha I have come round to the idea of no labour xxx

Hey guys, this is little Jamie. He arrived today after a planned section (breech) at 39 weeks, 7lb 10oz. The section was a bit scary and I was one ‘try’ of the spinal away from a general anaesthetic. They also couldn’t keep my blood pressure up so was swimming in and out of consciousness for a good chunk of it. But once we were back on the ward and all sewn up we’ve both been totally great. Love him so much already! X

Ah I’m ok thanks, nothing is happening I had a bit of brown spotting yesterday but other then that nothing, gonna go on the exercise ball thing today as much as I can, and the dog can have a long walk too ha ha, oooh you must be so excited for tomorrow mm, good luck for it, so excited for you xx

Oh fingers crossed it all helps! Either way not too long for everyone now.
I didn't even bother getting my ball out this time with having a section ha been a bit lazy! Thank you so much I am really nervous now. Think I'm all organised now though and had my friend round today to colour my hair and give me a blow dry. Been told not to shave my bits which I'm gutted about as I had been saving it
And I'm a nurse in my hospital so I know loads of the theatre staff anyway
Never mind!!! Will update you all when baby is here xxx

You will definitely beat me to it at this rate absolutely nothing my end.

Next midwife booked for a week after he is due and I have a strong feeling I will be seeing her by that point I will definitely be wanting him out

Ha ha I don’t really have many signs on this end either, although we could just go into labour overnight for all we know! I was 1cm dilated though which the midwife said was a good sign, had nothing since then though, I don’t think baby girl will be here by her due date (13th)
Hopefully we won’t go too far over otherwise we will be looking at induction, I’d rather it happen naturally so I can do as much of it as home as possible before going into the hospital! I see the midwife again on tues, when’s your next appointment? I’m sure they will offer you a sweep then x

Baby conor was born today at 9.22am weighing 7lb 9.5 oz he's perfect. I had a small pph which they had under control and we aren't doing too badly. Will try and upload a pic but keeps saying too big xxx
