**** April 2015 Mummies ****

I've never had bladder issue with pregnancy. I just find the bump uncomfortable and I just don't like sleeping on my side!

I'll your Team Pink to the front page, and congratulations on officially being in Tri 3 Kitten :-)

Thanks Rooster. I try n vary sleeping on side back n half/half when heartburn tried to rear its ugly head...I also find side uncomfortable as she always has to right herself then she spends the next few mins kicking left n rightside simultaneously until I move...lol

Congrats on reaching tri 3 kitten! :D

I don't have an issue with my bladder even through the day. Yes I do pee more than pre-pregnancy but nowhere near as much as I was expecting to! I'm finding it awkward to get to sleep but once I fall asleep I'm fine until my alarm goes off in the morning!

Just thought I would add in that after another day off work yesterday I am finally feeling almost 100% again!! :D nausea and vomiting has gone and I've got more energy too :) thank god!!

I've been getting some lower stomach ache, tightenings and bump is starting to feel really heavy although size wise I would say I'm still quite small. Is this braxton hicks? I feel so clueless sometimes they aren't at regular intervals but does seem to be happening daily other than that I feel absolutely fine.

I've no idea what BH feels like. I've never had them, boo. Maybe this time around I will. I have been getting some cramps but they are constant rather than labour like.

Glad you are feeling better Cossie. Take the rest of the week off just to relax and fully recover :-)

Thanks rooster :) that's the plan! Tucked under the duvet on the sofa and some bad films should sort everything!

I've no idea what they feel like either. I've had some tightenings and pains in lower tummy that feel a bit like period pains but nothing major and they only last for a minute or two at most. I do have times when I feel unbelievably stretched and like I'm literally about to go 'pop'! It'd actually be nice if someone could shed some light on BH. If not I might ask my midwife about them on Friday at my 28 week appointment :)

I've just had a random phone call to book for an antenatal home visit next week. Has anyone else had one of these?

That sounds like BH to me? Tightening and cramps that last a minute or two?

I'm still swollen down below. It's only uncomfortable when I go to the loo. I want to mention it to the MW on Saturday but since my mum is coming with me, i'd rather not

lizziimayy I was supposed to be having a home visit this week but my midwife said she is fully booked for home visits til end of Jan so I won't be having mine til the end of the month at least. I've never really had it explained to me why it's necessary but if it's got to be done then I have no arguments!

rooster, is it worth asking your mum to wait outside at the end of the appointment to get any embarrassing questions out of the way?

I would try speak to your midwife privately at the start or end of your appointment Rooster then you could shout your mum in for listening to the heartbeat etc.

I've not heard anything about home visits but not sure if they do it differently up in Scotland. I am still registered at my mums address will need to change it with my GP but scared it will change my care at this stage, I don't want to change GP as I've always had the same one and he's fab. Apparently it goes on your surgeries postcode rather than your own though so who knows.

I had my 28 week midwife apt today then got sent straight to hospital for urgent blood test to check bile blood levels for OC. Think she just wants to rule it out. Gotta call up at 6 for results.

Long day...

Oh my days :-/ fingers crossed prettypee for a good result for you

Hiya has anyone else had the GTT? I had it yesterday and I've not heard anything so does anyone know if that means I'm in the clear or could is there a chance they could call tomorrow?

Glad they are being thorough! Hope it was all clear?! xx

Had liver enzymes come back ok but bile won't be in until morning. Hoping it's clear.

Sigh is anybody else having big issues with mothercare? Seriously it's one problem after another! Order placed November - cotbed, matress. Cot top changer and glider chair.

Matress fine.

Cotbed missing screws.

Cot top changer never arrived and took 3 weeks to convince them and arrange new one

Glider chair - 1st one, damaged

They couldn't arrange replacement because courier is in administration so sent new one to store and I had to drive this there for exchange. Now, i was concerned when I heard then saw the assistant dragging the replacement all the way through the store, got it home, turned it over to find the 2nd one was also damaged.

Awaiting response from mothercare....

We were told our pram would be 5 days delivery, it's arrived today....double the wait time due to the carrier but no idea on condition until we collect xx

I had the GTT and if you don't hear back all should be well. Also experiencing more BH but today's are without tightening but mild period like cramps.

Baby has moved too, much higher up. My whole bump is higher, and now my maternity pants are baggy near my crotch lol xxx

Just read up on OC prettypee, hoping results are clear for you xxxx

Can officially post in here now. Home stretch! Is anyone else finding it all a bit surreal that we'll have a baby in a few months? Logically I know I will, but part of me is still struggling to believe there will be a baby if you know what I mean?

Xx
