**** April 2015 Mummies ****

Not had any yet (but since being signed off work I'm not normally up at this time, so think that's normal!) just finished breakfast, so expecting some shortly, am soo glad I have my midwife appointment this morning!! It's bloody stressful this pregnancy malarkey!

Good luck today Rooster x

I rarely feel movements in the morning. My baby springs into action in the evening.

Thanks ladies, I'm not too worried. I know baby is alive in there at least.

I decided to text midwife, didn't want to call as I'm at work! But seeing as felt weird last night with BH etc, she feels really low and I'm still having random cramping.. I thought best not to completely ignore.

I know saying "I feel weird" isn't really a good description but I just don't feel like normal. My body feels off. Now with this morning it's sent me into paranoia mode! Especially when we have history of premature babies in my family (every baby on mums side)

Fingers crossed for you prettypee!! Just cook for a little longer baby!! xx

Hope all is ok prettypee.

Baby decided to start wiggling around and kicking as soon as the midwife started using the Doppler! Apparently that's very normal tho! She was lovely about it all, very reassuring. Soo relieved that all is ok and that I was just worrying for nothing.

Xx

Great news Emmajaine. Fingers crossed all is well with you Prettypee.

Right need to get my kiddo sorted before I go for the scan, whoop

Left a message for midwife at 8:19 and still not heard back, it's going to be a long day! I.just want some reassurance here!

Prettypee if you're concerned give the MAU/labour ward a call *no should be on your notes*
They'll be happy to reassure you or may ask you to pop over to triage so they can check you over.
Community midwife may be on a day off? at a HB? etc x

I will call this afternoon if I haven't heard back- I don't like calling hospital and I don't really want to go in either as apart from the labour ward my local hospital is dreadful. Took me 5 hours to be seen last time.

I think it's also nerves kicking in- it's all so close now and reality that I will be going into labour within the next couple months has hit me...

How are you feeling Emmajayne?

Rooster......I'm excited your having a scan....and a little jealous, I'd love to see bubs again :)

Prettypee call the antenatal ward, the ladies are lovely and there to reassure you. I don't like calling but when I had a bleed at 24 weeks and felt daft because it was so small they were so lovely. How are babies movements?

I've tried to book an appt with my GP this morning so I can get a referral to the physio for my sciatica/ pelvis and you have to call on the day and hope the is some available. WTF? Baby will be here by the time I get an appointment! I've never booked a GP appointment at my new surgery, just midwife and nurse. I'm shocked :eh:

Bubs has started to become active in the morning as well as bouncing around in the evening. I got kicked up near my ribs last night which meant I had to change position so he could wiggle & dance!

hope everything is ok prettypee, how much plug did you lose and was it a bit bloody?

This little one likes to do that to me too Chazabell, just as I get settled for dinner and I need to end up eating standing up or I feel like my belly is going to pop.

Hope everything is ok Prettypee I agree with the others give hospital a call better to just double check to be safe.

Hi Ladies, could I join you? I'm due on the 21st April with our first - a little girl xx

Hope your scan went ok rooster!!! :D

Have you heard from midwife yet prettypee?

Welcome MrsWood14! :D And congratulations on your pink bundle!

My cousin officially became a father this morning to a little girl weighing 5lb 10oz! Not sure he fully realises what being a parent means!

Nope, not response from midwife so called maternity assessment Unit. I'm currently in the waiting room. Started to get pains in lower back and inside of my right leg randomly, will see what they say when they get round to seeing mw

Thinking of you prettypee, fx everything is fine and that you aren't waiting too long.

Welcome MrsWood14.

I'm doing ok thanks Chazabell, baby is moving around as normal now, just decided to scare the hell out of me! Lol. Sorry to hear your doctors surgery are being awkward, mine is like that (also a new surgery). I needed to get signed off cos I'd done my weeks self certificate, called at 8am for an appointment that day, only to be told that there were none!! Cue hormonal crying pregnant woman! Needless to say they managed to squeeze me in!

X

Prettypee keep us posted please, thinking of you!!!'

If they can't fit me in tomorrow morning I'm going to pull the pregnant card out! My back isn't too bad when I'm not in work and pottering around the house. If I'm crippled tomorrow in work there will be hell to pay and I may sign myself off sick!

We are off to ikea this evening to buy drawers for our boy and look at any other bits we may fancy.....excited, I love shopping for baby bits!! xxxx

Good luck prettypee, hoping everything turns out to be ok for you!

Good luck prettypee, thinking of you!! Hope all turns out ok

I don't think I've pulled the pregnant card yet. Although someone hit our car over the weekend and drove off (it was at a football match so we weren't in the car or near it). Luckily someone managed to note his number plate and make and model of the car and we have 2 witnesses. If he denies all knowledge I may just pull out the pregnancy card and go a bit nuts at him!
