**** April 2015 Mummies ****

Had my 30 week midwife appt today. Had my whooping cough jab. Spoke to her about my back and believe it or not I have to book in to see my GP if I want referring to any physio. She thinks it's sciatica on my right side and pelvis issue on the left!

I'm rather annoyed. I was under the impression my midwife could refer me or help me :( back in 3 weeks!!

Baby is still breech and measuring 29cm on the fundal height chart xxx

I self referred to physio I saw a leaflet about it in my surgery & just rung the number. They got me an emergency appointment due to being pregnant! There wasn't much they could do but show me some simple exercises & told me to take it easy! Mine was PGP though so probably totally different to you.

Feels weird that the May Mummies are starting a thread over here now, I've only just officially got to the 3rd trimester myself!

I've had a fab day! SOM was brilliant & is 100% behind my HBAC
Then my best friend told me shes pregnant again! Very excited for her as they've been trying for a while (shes actually one of my birth partners this time!)!

Yay for hbac :)

May mummies already, that's just weird. I am realising I only have 6 weeks 4 days until I'm considered full term :O

As I sit here with period cramps and BH.... I notice my belly has dropped. Hoping she comes back up and bh stops soon. I don't want her to be THIS early. I've felt weird all day and gone to the loo 5 times in 4 and a half hours! She must be leaning on it

Man I feel uncomfortable and weird though. The cramps are an odd sensation but nothing is seeking regular atm so trying to wait it out...

Hi Rooster, could you update me on list please? We're having a boy.

Getting flu jab this week- not looking forward to it.

Also really uncomfortable sometimes and right hand ribs are nearly always sore:(

Feeling a bit worried this evening, not felt baby move as much as normal through the day (May be cos I had people over and so wasn't paying as much attention).

Have just had tea and a cold fizzy drink and felt a couple of small movements, but not like normal ones. Am now lying on my left side for a bit, if movements don't pick up I'll be calling MAU. Sooo worried - please be ok lil one!

Quite the opposite to my LO. He won't bloody stay still!!!

I hope all is well emmajaine. Keep us updated! My fingers are tightly crossed for you xx

Keep us posted Emmajayne!!

Am I being stupid here Prettypee....we're counted as full term at 36 weeks? I thought it was 40 then upto 2 over or am I missing something? (I've not read into too much as I wanted to be as relaxed as possible)

xxx

Thanks girls, have had some movements, so feeling a bit better, but they are very different to what I have been feeling, more like fingers wiggling/grasping, than punches/kicks. And very low down as well. I have my midwife appointment in the morning so will chat to her about it then, along with everything else that's on my mind! Lol xx

Chazabell: full term is from 37 weeks onwards which pretty much means baby's lungs are mature enough to function properly, so it's safe for them to arrive. If you went into labour before then baby would be classed as pre-term xx

As above 37 weeks is full term, until 42 weeks. Baby's born in this period are considered on time as far as medical people are concerned!

So she's got to stay in there another 6+4 for her to be considered fully cooked!

Thanks for clearing that up thought I was going bonkers!! xx

....Think I lost my plug this morning :S isn't this too early??

I think it can happen prettypee, and it will grow back, but obviously call midwife if you are worried. X

Yikes! Give your midwife a call. I don't know much about it. I never lost mine!

Scan day today, woohoo!

I'd heard that too. If you lose your plug early it can grow back. Just keep an eye on things and like emmajaine said any worry or anything call your midwife and she'll be able to talk you through everything

Eeek, good luck rooster!! :-)

Have your movements picked up this morning emmajaine? Xx
