I did call, thank you ladies. Mil is here and I'm on my way into hospital now. They sounded busy so hope I'm not there too long! xx

Glad you called :-) hope you're not waiting too long. This boy is definitely keeping you on your toes isn't he! Xxx

All these May babies seem a bit cheeky don't they lol!!!

He really is, just want him here now! Least 5 others in front of me and usually only 2 bays and at least 30mins per lady. Long wait I think! xx

I bet you do. Won't be long now until he's here causing more mischief with his brothers!
Hope you brought a good book with you, or have some good games on your phone to keep you busy! Sounds like you'll be there a while. Xx

I took my kindle with me as knew I would have a wait and signal is hit and miss in here. These May babies certainly need a telling off for being such pickles! xx

I've just got back from audiology with my 5yr old, he has severe speech problems and after 3 years of speech therapy and 2 previous all clear hearing tests we have finally found out that he has mild to moderate hearing loss in both ears-he's been measured for hearing aids and we've got to go back in 3 weeks to have them fitted....mixed emotions at the moment, I'm angry it was missed before, gutted there's something wrong but also pleased that with aids his speech should improve x

Congratulations Jojo and eaw!! Such an exciting day for you both.

im so jealous, cant wait for my baby cuddles x

Congratulations Jojo on the birth of Anna, what a beautiful little bundle of joy.

Eaw, it's fantastic news that you can finally take Stanley home, enjoy x

Em - bet as soon as your son has his hearing aids fitted his speech will improve loads.

I hope so bless him, it's set him back loads and has an effect on everything he does x

Any news Kanga? Xx

Aw Em i bet ull defo see a change. Bless him, how annoying that its taken all this time for them to find this out! Xx

Been back home just 30mins! Was waiting just over 2hrs in the end. They were happy with baby on the trace but I'm still not getting many movements. Feel a bit fobbed off to be honest. This is the 4th lot of reduced movements I've had in just over 3 weeks and they are still just blaming my anterior placenta and being a mum to two kids already so must be too busy to feel movements. But I know his movements aren't the same and it makes me so anxious, just cried the whole drive home :(

Wow Emma I didn't realise they could miss hearing loss after having hearing tests. Harry has had 2 due to not talking much but everything has always come back clear. Hope once he gets the hearing aids his speech will improve xx

The last 2 he completely anticipated the sounds, to me it was obvious but not to them.
He was doing the same this time till I told the consultant doing the test that he was watching his eye contact, he soon realised then that he was randomly hitting the stick on the table....personally I'd have turned him away from the equipment. The speech therapists put his problems down to verbal dyspraxia but I think it's more because he can't hear properly to make the sounds!

I'm glad he's getting sorted, it just be a nice weight off...

Now, where is Logan at, Hmm? You just tell him that Anna is, mocking him because she's, out and he's, lazily still clinging to your Uterus lol

Haha he's a typical boy, I had my niece baby whispering to him the other day lol.

That madras was a bad idea-would be nice to think that the suffering and tmi but clear out both ends is my body gearing up for labour (it is May 4th after all) but I doubt it x

Must be hard for you to hear that about your boy Emma, but it's great that he's finally getting the help that he needs :-)

Yep, I've had the clear out again today too :-/ and nothing to do with curry haha

I wonder if we'll have any Star Wars babies today? OH seems to think it might be our day....I very much doubt it tho.

How are you doing this morning Jojo?

Xxx

I've felt like this when I've been in too :-( some mw's are fab, but most that I've seen lately just don't seem to have the time or knowledge to reassure. I hope you're feeling better about it this morning and that little man is behaving for you. Was it today you had to go in for monitoring?

Xxx
