Just been told once I've eaten dinner it's off upstairs to Labour ward to have waters broken!!

Been updating family like mad and then I turned around to mum and said I've got to update the ladies on the group

Thanks Jojo, blimey! Will avoid if I end up having c sec definitely. I have got some of those sugar sweets like the ones diabetics have if needed and will be packing food as well so maybe I can do without. I'll have a look out for that orange juice type one though.

Fingers crossed all is going well kitten and your up on labour ward now.

I'm finally back home, got to the hospital just after 10am and left at 2:30pm. Trace was all OK even though I didn't get many movements and they still aren't that strong but the midwife was happy. But she wasn't happy that she measured my fundal height at 27 cm when I'm 35+3 weeks. So I had to wait around for a doctor who had just gone to theatre for an emergency. So now I have an urgenr scan tomorrow morning just to check that baby is ok, plus need a consultant appt and then back for a ctg on Wednesday just to monitor him. Obviously things could all change dependant on the outcome of the scan in the morning. It's at 8:30am, so I have to leave mine at 7:30am because rush hour traffic is horrendous xx

Im just hoping ur really all baby and even though bumps small hes grown from last scan..

Keep Us updated! Im glad its an early scan so u dnt have to wait around! Xxx

I know I'm so grateful it is first thing so I'm not waiting around. I am hoping he has grown since last time too. He should be 4lb 13oz if following the same centile which seems tiny! xx

I was only 5lbs 4o at 40 weeks when I was born 31 years ago which was very small. Did they say anything about what they would do if baby hadn't grown as he should?

Hun my friend had her LG at 39wks and she was 4lb 10oz! There wasnt nothing wrong with her what so ever and ahe was home the next day. Shes now 8 and just petite! Xx

No she didn't say, what would happen if he hadn't grown. Only that they would get me to see a consultant asap to discuss the results. If he is still on the same centile or had put on weight they will probably continue with monitoring at scans til 37 weeks. But if he hasn't grown they may suggest getting him out if they think it will be better for him.

5lb 4oz at 40 wks is tiny! My hubby was 5lb 10oz at 36 weeks and I was 3lb 1oz at 32 weeks (I'm a twin though). I'm just so worried the placenta isn't giving him everything he needs xx

That's good to hear as well Dani, I think I will be so much happier once he is here because I know I can help fatten him up better than its seems my body is doing at the mo xx

I hadn't really grown from 35 weeks and they said if it was this day and he they would've induced at 37 but that wasn't practice then. They'll check your placenta blood flow. I'm
Sure everything will be fine but important thing is that they're looking after you.

It just occurred to me that next Weekend will be my last weekend ever with only one child! Crazy!

Yeah I'm so grateful they are looking after us. The midwife today was lovely, she wasn't letting me leave without a scan booked for tomorrow as originally the doctor said sometime this week but when the mw cam back she said no you will have one tomorrow So there are some really good ones out there.

I will definitely see what they say about induction at 37 weeks as the anxiety to just too much for me now. I phoned hubby 22 times in an hour yesterday because he wasn't answering and I wanted to try and get a private scan done. The scan place didn't answer their phone though.

That is crazy jojo, can't wait for us all to have our little ones here. Enjoy your last weekend next weekend with just Luke xx

Well I didn't think it was possible to be more uncomfy but he's shifted position and I can't sit up properly now as he's right on my rib cage x

I dunno isn't should take an up to 1 month sleep suit into hospital. The label says up to 8lbs... This baby was predicted to be around 7lb12 on the chart for 39w.
My son was 7lbs 11 and really quite long. What u think? I could take know and if we need more get my mum
To nip into home and bring more, or I could just leave it.

I'm glad you got a scan for tomorrow... When I was pregnant last time
I had very few movements (less than 10 a day on a good day) and I got so anxious about it they induced me at 40. Anxiety when it comes to your baby is so awful, I really feel for you

I've only put up to 1 month stuff in bag at the mo as baby is meant to be small. Think I had newborn (up to 9lb) for the boys and it was huge on them at 7lb 1oz and 7lb 6oz. Maybe put one in just in case, it won't take up much room.

The anxiety is the worst and I don't know why it is so bad this time around; although I was getting awful anxiety attacks before getting pregnant so it's probably just continued. I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

I think you have a fab bump, I'm jealous of all the big bumps I see xx

It is a fab bump, however I did just clean swipe half a shelf of merchandise off the shelf in tesco the other day by accident.

It could be that your anxiety has just carries on, but small baby isn't going to help matters. What time is your scan?

Haha jojo that made me laugh! I just get looks as if no way are do you have 5 weeks to go. I posted my bump yesterday I think.

It's at 8:30am so super early thankfully. No knowing he is small hasn't helped at all, but I'm hoping tomorrow will give me some reassurance for a bit. Finally got a few strong kicks just now rather than the light ones so he is letting me know he is ok xx
