Poor Noah :-( hope he's feeling better soon. I'm dreading chicken pox hitting this house, I remember having it and it was soooo uncomfortable. Oscar wasn't well yesterday either, his temp was 39.3 even after calpol and nurofen but his hands and feet and lips were stone cold. I started to panic, especially as if just heard about a 13 month old locally who died of meningitis on Monday :-( luckily his temp came down and he was much better after a sleep. They do like to worry us.

Good luck with your apt and scan Kanga. Hopefully baby has a nice growth spurt before the scan so you can still get your homebirth.

I've always had quite a bit of discharge. It increased loads with this pregnancy but then seemed to die down the last few weeks. It's back this week and really thick, almost like snot (sorry tmi!!)

Xxx

It's OH's birthday today so I made him this....but surprise surprise, he's still away with work. Would it be too naughty of me to start it without him?!

Cake looks fab! Can u video call him, show him the cake, sing happy bday then eat it lol x

I've got no appetite whatsoever, just eaten a bowl of pasta just so I've had something.
Braxton hicks are getting annoying now....I just want proper labour! x

Haha I like your thinking ;-) but he's still working :-( it's got loads of sweets and chocolates hidden inside so I really wanted him to cut it open. He's been asking for one of these cakes for ages so I'd better wait for him.

I can't stomach much food either, but I still keep forcing it down then massively regret it pretty soon after when I'm so full I can't move without feeling like I'm going to throw up!!

I bet you'll be glad when proper labour kicks in after all these BH.
Xxx

bh piss me off. I'm getting about 10-15 a day! today one hit in the mddle of the street when I wa sout with my little boy and it was really painful, a passer by thought I was in labour bless her!

3 weeks and 6 days until my section... not that I'm counting lol

I should probably pack my hospital bag.

I wonder who wil be first!!

Yes get that bag packed! Although I've only just finished mine and really need to go back through Logan's to double check it.

I'm Now thinking il go overdue....I feel like I did with my last son-no one expected me to get to term and he was 9 days late.

Pick up the pram this morning!!!!

I've yet to have bh, if I'm going to have any! Popping to town today to finish off my hospital bag!

I had none last time, this time it's constant!

I got stuck in the bath today then fell getting out... Didn't bang jump
Or anything, should be fine shouldn't it?

I didn't get any in first 3 pregnancies that I noticed but was quite bad in last pregnancy and is all the time with this one-i think if it was first baby I'd have had a few false alarm labour runs by now x

You should be fine if you just slipped and didn't bang anything...I'm avoiding baths for that exact reason xx

Both bags now packed!! Let the waiting commence!

I've now got a very gorgeous pram sat in my lounge and nowhere else to put it so il just have to stare at it longingly for the next month or so (hopefully less) xx

Going mad panicking!! I think for the last 7 days I've been loosing my plug... MW says no but someone I know who used to be a midwife says yes... I don't know what to do! I took a picture this time so hoping I can show them instead of trying to explain over the phone!

Hun losing your plug doesnt always mean labour will happen. It regrows!

Ive been losing my plug for quite a while now.

I also did for a few weeks before Noah arrived.

My bloody show (mucus plug but more blood mixed than the normal colour) is normally a sign labour can happen, although this also came away for a week before contractions started for me.

I did read ur post tho, do u think ur having contractions?! X

Losing your plug doesn't always mean labour but if you're worried then Give the assessment unit a call with your symptoms some advice - they've always been good with me.

I went out for a meal last night (without child which was bliss!) to celebrate my anniversary with my hubby..: they asked me if I wanted a booth or a table - I thought booth would be more comfy, and it was until I got stuck and hubby had to pull me out every time I beeees the loo (which was roughly three times! Bloody bladder!)
We get home and my mother had my son up reading at 10pm (seriously, he has his granny wrapped firmly around his little finger) and after we put him to bed gave her a cuppa tea and some cake... Anyway we were talking about how dinner was and I said I love a steak which made a change from Italian and there's a restaurant we sometimes go to called sambucas which is typically a tiny place with lots or tables and hubby casually turns around and says "you wouldn't fit in sambucas" ... I had to laughter, but it does kind of go on the list of things not to say to your heavily pregnant wife doesn't it? Lol but at least I was pregnant when he said it lol

I probably shouldn't have had a pink steak but it's fine really... It was nicely cooked. I stuffed my pregnant lady face!
Potato salad and bread, cheese and bacon potato skins, medium steak with mushroom and fries with a side is garlic ciabatta, then an ice cream Sunday with chocolate balls. Yum.

I had a pink steak last week....baby's dad/other half (still don't know how to refer to him) cooked it for me and I wasn't refusing!
Men don't think sometimes-they think they're joking about the size of us when it's really not funny.
Went to Chris's (it's easier than baby's dad etc) the other night to watch a film, he's in a shared house and only has a sofa bed in his room and he said he wouldn't put it out into a bed as it 'only just takes his weight'. I'd have smacked him in the mouth if I could! Ended up v uncomfy for nearly 2 n a half hours trying to sit 2 of us on a sofa bed.

37 weeks today....Logan is cooked!!

Congrats on fully cooked Emma!

My husband also makes totally inappropriate comments. He laid his head on my tummy yesterday and said "wow, you've got huge". Thanks!

I've woken up in such a bad mood today. All I've done since I've opened my eyes is whinge and shout and complain. I want to go for a walk somewhere with the dog this morning, hubbys saying no because of the weather. But I don't want to be stuck indoors or sat down somewhere :-(

Ahh they have a way with words don't they!!

I wouldnt worry about thr steak hun, unless u feel unwell, which if ur used to havig a nice pinky steak im sure ill be fone, then babas alright :)

I have a scan at 11.20 (private) to but my mind at ease over this horrible breech delivery nightmares that im getting lol!
I think tbh he is head down since sodding booking, but it was only £40 and my mind will wonder the closer I get to my homebirth!

Will update with photos later if they manage to get any decent ones :)

Happy 37wks Em! Xx

Happy 37 weeks :)
My hubby always saying I'm fat, and if the sofa creaks he finds it hilarious. Men are awful! Mind you I can't wait to have my belly back! I do feel ginormous

Oh I'm not worried! I enjoyed it and it was nicely done, I eat loads of stuff I "shouldn't" lol

I laughed the comment off because it was funny but he just kept trying to justify it... He was digging a hole so deep he almost found China! Haha

I packed the bag for baby this morning and some
Of my stuff... OMGu knickers are so big you could use them as a table cloth! But I need big pants for my section. I've also packed the same sleep suit Luke wore when he was first born... I want them to both wear the same thing first. Might buy a pink hat though incas they're very alike to
Make sure I can tell he difference between pictures later lol

I've not even taken my knickers out of the packaging....I know they'll be huge but I want comfort after birth-glamour is most definitely out the window.

I had a weird dream that I delivered someone's baby-she's due the day after me-I can't say she's a friend but she's on my fb and I went to school with her. Anyway he weighed 15lb 2oz and I couldn't lift him lol.
