Congratulations Jem, hope he doesn't have to stay in nicu long xx

Congrats Jem, I was just coming on to see if there had been any full moon action and clearly there has. Hope he's out of NICU soon and you both recover well.

Congratulations Jem :-)
Hope you're both on the mend and back together soon. Xxx

Here he is, my gorgeous gorgeous boy. He's so so lazy this afternoon, I need to get him to feed and he won't stay awake! His blood sugar levels have all evened out, but we're staying in hospital for a few days as he's on antibiotics for a little chest infection. Nothing serious, just some fluid on his lungs that was spotted as he was quite a bit dazed to be born and needed monitoring. He's so lovely, we're completely smitten

Oh Jem he's gorgeous! Glad to hear he's on the mend, I hope he's fully recovered very quickly.

It's my birthday today, was totally hoping for a nice baby shaped birthday present... Nothing! Boo! Even went into Holland and Barratts earlier to look for clary sage oil and perhaps try that - the £9.20 price tag for something totally unproven put me off though!! (Cheapskate!). Might ask mum how early she's allowed to do a sweep. Due date is Tuesday and I'm just feeling so ridiculously impatient!!!!

Happy birthday huni. Hope you have had a fab day (except for not giving birth!)

Its mine on Friday and im hoping for the same present or for her at least to be here. Getting so fed up now. Been for a walk today and a bumpy drive. Going to have a soak in the bath soon. She seems even lower down today. Fingers crossed! x

I want to say yay for being low down Poispinner and hopefully it means something - my bump has been so low for weeks I can no longer do up under bump trousers and she genuinely feels like she could fall out at any time  hopefully baby's coming soon though. I'm sure by Friday!!

We get so stuck in "it's never going to happen", but when it does, it's so quick for things to change that you really DONT know until it's happening, you know? Although I'm terrible for my whinging about how every day I feel even further from birth!!!

My cousins girlfriend was due about 8-9 days ago, she's still waiting. We both keep getting niggles (which is panicking my mum - she can't deliver both at same time!!!) but I think she's definitely going first (as is deserved, really!!).

Panic tonight too that my toddler has a cold sore. How do you stop a 2 year old from kissing a newborn?!

Oh no thats a bit worrying! Me and OH both get coldsores when we are illl and I worry about being infectious before they are actually visible. But that must be difficult with a two year old! Can you use anything on them at that age? Zovirax is really good but not sure at what age you can use it?!

I know what you mean, im so ready to go and do the job I know ive got to do but sooner or later im just gonna relax and then not be at all ready when it all kicks off!

Gorgeous babyslog!

Copterpops, you've gone quiet today! Anything happening??

I am sooooo tired! :-(

Nothing happening here Tigger. Still waiting it out. Had reflexology this morning which was nice, but highly doubt it'll do anything. Sweep tomorrow if favourable, but not holding my breath.

My 'little' Logan is now 2 weeks old!
He's been discharged from the mw and weighs a whopping 10lb 11oz! He's had a total of 80ml of formula over the last 3 days so the rest is all boob! Lol x

Oh Dani he's just gorgeous!

Wow Emma! Sounds like Logan is doing fab :-)

Saw the MW yesterday, Belle has put on some weight but still hasn't got back to her birth weight yet, she's around 7lb 12oz now. They're re-weighing her Thursday (day 14) and will be speaking to the pead if she's still not back up. She's been doing lots of projectile vomiting too, I've never seen anything like it! MW said to keep an eye over the next few days, maybe get her seen by the doctor if it continues. It only seems to be since she's moved more onto formula, so I'm wondering if it has anything to do with that?

We've got Belle's photo shoot tomorrow, can't wait!!! Xxx

Aww dani he is gorgeous! Hope you are doing well?

Wow Emma Logan is doing so well with his weight and Yay go boobies lol

Jenni, glad Belle has put on some weight now. Alfie was still below his birth weight on day 9, he only lost 5 oz but has only put 3oz back on. He is being weighed again tomorrow (day 14) and hopefully he is back up above his birth weight. Sounds like she is gaining really well though? I don't know about the vomiting but taking too much formula could be the cause. But I know there is something called pyloric stenosis (or something like that) that can cause projectile vomiting and requires an operation to fix, but hopefully that is not the case. Have fun at your photo shoot tomorrow xx
