Goodness, that suddenly makes it all seem so close and real....hope they're both doing ok tho :-) xxx

Morning everybody! Just been catching up, sounds like your emotions have been running away with you! Well I got moved last week. But only just got internet up and running hence why I haven't been on. Hope everyone is feeling ok this morning. Now my house is starting to look more like a house than a second hand shop!!
Little man is doing good, very active and a a proper little wriggler! Xx

I'm 27 weeks today so I'm gonna join in this group now :-) Can't believe how close its all getting! We have out 4d scan on Monday evening, can't wait to see her!!xx

Glad to hear the move went ok Andrea, you can start to relax a little now :-)
We've got another estate agent coming to value our house this morning, then we should be going on the market next week sometime.....we're nuts! I'm really starting to feel the stress of it already, the timing really isn't great. The house we liked isn't available anymore, but OH is still keen to get ours on the market and sold as he thinks something else will come up. I'm just panicking about the timing of it all and having a newborn and toddler......

We must all be over here in tri 3 now?

We've got our 4D scan Sunday, so excited :-) xxx

I think there's just a couple left to come over, June mummies will be die across next week!

I'm meeting to the extreme and beginning to find mys of really restless, especially in an evening. I'm having to force myself to sit and rest but just want to scrub x

My uncle passed away today. I'm
So very upset about it - he was a vey lovely man. I have work tonight too which isn't going to be nice especially working on the end of life unit

Sorry to hear about your uncle JoJo. I hope you get through work ok tonight, can't be easy being on that unit at the best of times.

We've recently found out that OH's nan hasn't got long left, she has cancer in her spine which is crushing her nerves and causing her spine to collapse :-( she's in terrible pain so not wanting any visitors, which OH feels awful about as we haven't seen her since Christmas when she seemed fine, it's all happened so quickly. Xxx

It's so, so awful :-( i hope, for her sake, that it's not too long for her, I just can't imagine what it must be like for her :-(

I had my 28 wk apt today, it was meant to be a home visit but I never heard off the mw to arrange it so I just called the doctors to arrange it as normal. She did the usual checks and dos my bloods, but she's coming out to me on Tuesday to go through the 'other stuff'. Seems a bit pointless to me, why can't they just do it at the surgery instead of me having to sit at home waiting for them to come?! Xx

I never once had a home visit before birth on Noah.
MW (diff mw) hasnt mentioned about doing one this time either !

Just realised I have 10wks till EDD eeeek!
I know ill go over though x

Sorry to hear about the sad news girls. Life can throw some right shit sometimes!

I've never had an official home visit - my mum does most of my antenatal though so it's a bit different

I feel HUGE today. My bump is massive. I'm leaning more and more on having a home birth, too. Might even try it if Jake is home. Love the idea of giving birth and then not having to go anywhere - no need to get dressed to go home, no need to be apart from hubby or Jake to sleep. Just not sure which room would be best!!!

We think that's what my uncle had but his daughter didn't want he tests when he was dying anyway, said it didn't matter the reason as it wouldn't change anything. Awful thing? I'm
So
Sorry to hear about his nan.

And to make my day worse my manager hasn't put my maternity leave in :( she's got me in three shifts next week! I'm writing her a letter telling her I can't donit, tbh don't think o can even do tomorrow as my
Ligament pain is so bad tonight I'm
Almost crying

So sorry Jenni and Jojo, its an awful thing to happen, I remember when father in law was going downhill in hospital it was a horrible time.
And to mess up your mat leave Jojo is unforgivable, how unprofessional, and now its you that has to sort it at a time when you're clearly needed elsewhere, I'd be ringing HR and leaving a piece of my mind in their ears.
I had a home visit before the birth last time but not that early, mw did her usual checks and wanted to see where baby would be sleeping but that's about it. If she came now all she'd see is an un plastered, unpainted uncarpeted space, covered in dust and the Moses basket in bits in the wardrobe, so I'm hoping she leaves it another couple of weeks.

30 weeks today, cannot believe how close its getting.

Fruitometer ticker says baby the size of a cucumber!? I'll tell you what if it really is the size of a cucumber this could be the easiest birth ever. One sneeze and whoosh!

We don't really have a HR department as such, my
Manager deals with it and she hasn't!
