Finally managed to have a serious conversation with Rich about names (he normally suggests silly names like Clive, Gladys.....!). We both really like Isabelle again. We liked it last time, but my mum's cousin had just named her daughter Isobel/Isabel so we decided against it. We've only seen her once since she was born (she's 2 now) so I don't think it's likely they'll be spending too much time together lol. I think they sometimes shorten it to Izzy, but we're leaning towards Belle. Does it 'go' with Oscar ok? It's so hard! Xx

Congrats :)

I have my scan Tuesday and I'm terrified because I haven't felt baby move for a few days and o think it's all gone wrong :( of course baby may have just moved or I have an anterior placenta again but I'm actually quite worried about it :(

I don't know/hear of any Belle's around here so I think that's why I'm favouring it over Izzy, there's quite a few of those around. OH has already starting calling her 'baby belle' whilst singing the song....lol

Jojo I'm sure everything is fine, try not to worry. It's still quite early to feel movements so baby probably won't be in a regular pattern yet which is why you may not have felt much. Good luck for the scan :) xxx

Ladies I'm getting in on the action here! Hope you don't mind. I know Tigger very well and I hope she doesn't mind me joining in!

I'm due with number 2 on 3rd or 10th May!! NHS says 10th but I want it to be 3rd!!!

20 week scan on 22nd December and cannot decide for the life of us if to find out or not. We were team yellow last time and probably won't have any more after this one so erring towards finding out!

If you found out, can you tell me what was so good about finding out?!

Xxx

Heeeey welcome!!!

Do u want me to to stick u down for 3rd or 10th on first page haha!?

I found out both time.

Main reason. Impatient lol! I had 16wk early gender scans!
But also liked knowing so i could pick a name, do the nursery and start buying bits as I didnt want a load of beige/yellow/white clothes. Family insisted on buying bits as the pregnancy went along too and i know they would of gone for all the unisex stuff.

We did stick to all the multi colours for bouncer/play gym etc and a black pram as we wanted to keep them for the next. But i did enjoy having all my boys clothes ready and washed :)

Its such a personal preferance! Id love to try and experience a surprise and have it annouced at birth but it killed me waiting till 16wks lmao! Im mega impatient!

I love being able to say he/charlie/baby brother etc :) xxx

Hi babyslog!!

I suppose you better put me down for 10th but even Tigger will tell you it's begrudgingly! My dates suggest 3rd but scan showed 10th ;( I know it's only a bloody week and baby will come whenever it wants, but...urrrrggghhh!

Yeah I'm totally wanting to get more organised this time. We bought loads of neutral stuff last time. I bloody hate yellow! As soon as he arrived, the yellow/white/beige stuff was relegated and I spent a fortune on blue! I'd like to avoid that this time really.

A few friends found out but didn't tell people. I used to think 'what's the point in that?' But I'm now thinking that could be an option...if I could keep it to myself.

My only break down about not knowing last time was in B&Q picking paint colours. I desperately wanted to buy pink or blue but we bought beige and cream. I actually cried :p

Thanks for the lovely welcome babyslog xxx

Aw im the other way, they put me ahead a week but im so sure of my dates so i no ill go overdue again lol!!

Ohhh i vote gender reveal for then!! See how u feel the morning of the scan! If defo ur last baby it might be nice experiencing finding out :) plus no more b&q meltdowns then!! Lol.

We want a third so hoping as a mature i may become more patient lol and try & stay team yellow! Xx

No I disagree with having one

We didn't find out last time and it was lovely not knowing but it was hard not knowing what names to pick or colours to chose by tbh we
Painted babies room powder blue with yellow
Furnishings and it was lovely for boy or a girl - although I think inside yourself you know deep down

Ahhh what's in a date anyway?! They put me back and I'm HOPING that it means I'll be a little less late this time! But we'll see. I'd go with the later date Claire - as a psychological thing I think it might be easier to deal with? Maybe? And obvs I just don't want you to have your section a week earlier and leave me alone in pregnancy limbo land... Haha!!

I think I'm leaning toward the finding out now. It's becoming the predominant thought. I was totally dead set against it last time and definitely wanted to be team yellow but I'd quite like to know this time! Only 3 more weeks to wait...!! X

Oooh exciting 3 of us with scans on the 22nd! I'm so exited it's ridiculous!xx

Hi all, I have finished work!!!!....... For the Xmas holidays that is. But worked out that taking weekends, my day off a week and half term I only have 44 working days till mat leave! So relieved this term is over, been so intense. Went out for dinner last night with oh and ds cos we've not really seen much of each other the past few weeks as so busy. It was lovely just to be with them and not feel the pressure of what I had to do next spoiling it. Ate soooo much I had to change from my mat leggings into my really old fat pj bottoms as I was so bloated when I got home!

Yay for finishing work :) my last day was Thursday, it feels soooo good!! It's scary (and very exciting!) when you work out just how many days you have left until mat leave. I could have as little as 29 working days if we don't find a buyer and close Feb half term.....or 65 days if I go through to start of April as planned. Kinda hoping for the 29 tbh haha xxx

I'm
Working tonight and tomorrow and off until Boxing Day - I feel bloody lucky but so sick
If working weekends! I've worked 4 out of the last 5 weekends

Oh wow! I think you win....lol what a lovely month to have so much time off tho, just a shame most of it was through being signed off :-/
How are you feeling now? Any relief from the pgp? I definitely notice when I've not been at work for a couple of days, almost no pain or discomfort. I dread when Tuesday's come round and it's back to work :-( xxx

Ive not been to bad! Ive been spring (winter) cleaning today too lol!

For me its the evenings when i get into bed and everythings aching so much!!

I do find when in work it flares up more too cos im sat down for hours in end. But im the same if out walking too! Cant win really. Ill regret cleaning today too when it comes to bedtime lol!! Xxx
