Just popping back in. I hope weezy doesn't mind be saying all was well with her scan (saw on fb group we are both in from last year), but I will let her update you all :) So no need to worry :) xx

Aw good! I see her popping bk in and out online.

Tell her to get her butt over here lol xx

Glad all went will with weezy's scan, looking forward to an update!

Oh gosh, all you ladies talking about mat leave and I haven't even thought about it yet!! Really need to sit down and work it all out soon.
I'd planned to work til 37 weeks last time, but my manager ended up persuading me (telling me!) to finish at 35 weeks after walking (hobbling) into work in tears because my hips were so sore with spd/pgp. I'd like to say I'd go a little longer this time, but realistically I'll probably be finishing around the same time, if not earlier. We're still not sure on whether or not I'm going back to work after mat leave either, I'll be paying out more in childcare than I earn so need to work it all out. I just keep putting it off, it's all such a headache :-/
Xx

Hi girls, so sorry thought I updated here (obviously not- thanks Kanga x)
We're having another beautiful bouncy baby boy!! Super excited and I'm sure they'll grow up and be really close, everything else looking good too, heard HB for 1st time (don't have doppler this time round) so that was lovely too.
I think it says online as I always have the web page open on my phone but very rarely on so I do apologise keeping you all hanging and it's so lovely to know your thinking of me even though I'm not around much you are a great bunch of girls.
Hope everyone else is well xx

Ah and I can't figure out this picture and how to upload xx

Yaaaay team blue!!!
Congratulations hun!!!! :) xxx

Congratulations weezy! Are you going to pick a name before he's born? Have you overloaded on buying blue already?! Xx

Thank you girls! With DS we went mad buying straight after scan. This time round I've bought nothing, had to get little one home and into bed last night. Second time round nothing seems quite so urgent lol. We'll get Xmas over with then start buying properly. Need to make a decision on prams soon that's what's giving me a headache at the mo xx

Aaaah congrats :)
I get what you mean about not being so urgent second time round. By this time with Oscar, we'd put our deposit down on the pram and brought the nursery furniture, as well as a few other bits. Only just starting to think about what we're going to do with the pram this time.....buy a new double, stick with the single, or buy the extras to make our peach 3 a double?! It's hard to know how much O will be walking so really hard to know what to do.....xx

How old is oscar? J is 15m and already a good walker but someone pointed out a double is good for speed and if you don't trust them to walk safely. Which I wouldn't at that age I don't think. I think we're edging towards a cheap double and a nice single with a ride on attachment (easy rider) and can also put J in pushchair and baby in sling. So many different options. My pelvis completely went last time, and it's going same way this time so practically don't think I'll manage a double in/out the car it was a struggle with my single bebecar with J.
We were the same last time, furnature bought just after 12w and pram at 16w.
I also wonder if J will be out cot bed and into toddler bed too- in which case no point buying that either. They'll likely share a room though so will need to find matching drawers, wardrobes etc as VIB have discontinued the set we have (and I have a thing about matching...
Ah I'm sure it all comes right in the end!! Xx

He's almost 15 months too :) he's a fab walker, but like you say, I'm not sure I'd be able to trust him to walk safely and close by within 6 months. So for that reason, a double is a must! I just need to make sure he's happy to stay in it long enough to make it worth while. I think it might be tricky over summer, but coming up to next winter when he turns 2, it should be fine :)
We've got a few slings too so that's another option

Aaaah we've been trying to figure out the bed situation too!! O has got a cotbed, which almost makes it more confusing lol. SIL is lending us her Moses basket to start with, then I think we're going to get a cheap little cot. Then hopefully, by the time Oscar is ready for a big bed, we can get him straight into a single, then baby can use his cot bed in bed mode.....it works out in my head lol.
We're trying to hold off on deciding and buying too much, and just wait and see what happens. Xx

Just sitting down on the bed after a busy day sorting clothes (6 bin bags of just my stuff going to the clothes bank!) and I'm pretty sure I felt baby having a little wriggle for a few minutes :) I was too scared to move in case it stopped. I've had a few pokey feelings the last week or so, but it just seems far too soon to be feeling anything already, I'm 14 weeks tomorrow! It was around 17 weeks I felt the first little 'pops' and pokes with Oscar so wasn't expecting anything just yet. Aaaaaah so exciting :)
Anyone else feeling anything yet?! Xx

Jenni that's really exciting! I've been feeling little wriggles too, though nothing since Sunday/Monday I don't think. Makes me think I've imagined it then! I'm so excited for kicks you can feel outside!!!

I have for a few weeks but its on and off.

Its mostly if im laying down flat. Nothing on the outside yet.

Love listening on the doppler cos baba kicks it :) xx
