But I thought it was not for ages, now it's only a week or so! So now I have to catch up on reading everything I need to do, bring etc.

Oh if someone is really desperate for somewhere to stay they are welcome to have my bedsit for the night as I can stay at my boyf's. Although it's a bit further back into town on the bus.

Does anyone know if it is easy enough to get a taxi from the park to the airport - found REALLY cheap flights (£51 return +taxes) but the flight home is at 5.05pm and I need to be there at the latest 30min before that time - so would prob have to leave at 4pm (ish)

Birmingham airport is probably about 45 mins from the meet it's more Solihull than Birmingham.

oh poo!! thats not what I wanted to hear

I dont think I'll manage then as beleive it or not the flights are cheaper than the train - but a taxi would be loads for 2 x 45min journeys
(one there and one back)

you could easily get the train from the airport to the city centre then you'd only need one cab... OR stay over in a b and b?
