*Northeast Meet, South Park, Darlington, Sat 9th August*

:cheer: :cheer: :cheer: Sarah I hope you can make it

Train tickets are cheaper if you buy 2 singles on a selected train at a selected time if that makes sense.

The park is a 5-10 minute walk away from the train station, literally 2 streets away although you may need buggy. What I could maybe do though is meet you at the station, I will take my mei tai and my zapp, then if Arianna gets tired i'll carry Jack and she can go in buggy. Will save you bringing one on train

So sorry V forgot to answer your questions lol.

I don't know what everyone wants to do for food? I was thinking a picnic, I know the park has a cafe but it really is only a little one so I would imagine it's more sandwiches and things it sells.. oooh and ice creams  I don't mind getting a few things to save those travelling by train carrying stuff. We don't pass a supermarket on the way although there is a costcutter shop nearby which sells some things. A bit further up the road there is a Sainsbury's but it's past the entrance to the park so we'd have to go there then walk back. It's not really far though.

I will have a think of places to go for tea! :)

I have booked!!!! Leaving to go down on the 8th and stay over night, then return at about 4.30ish (same as you Valentine!) on the way back.

I managed to get it for £38 return!!

Also if I cancel as Brian is back I get 75% back.

Just gonna book into a travel lodge or something for the night as it is a long journey and Arianna will get grumpy!

Great price! Are you staying overnight in Darlington? I'm so pleased you are both coming!

My train is at 6.15pm on the way home, are you getting the earlier one?

Re. picnic - Sainsburys sounds like the best plan to me - Costcutter :puke: . I can't be bothered with carrying loads of stuff on the train and a wriggly baby so will happily go to Sainsburys for/with everyone once we arrive - we've got plenty time as my train gets in at 11.30am.
