The cool, calm, chilled 2ww thread

Hi ladies just wanted to share my 2ww ss experience before my bfp...
1- the skin on my face was very dry and flaking around 9 dpo - blur really a symptom but unusual for me
2- a couple of little spots on my chin but nothing like what I get when af is on her way
3- at 12 dpo boobs started getting sore
4- at 13 dpo boobs looked a little veinier
And I don't know if this is a symptom but pretty much the whole 2ww I couldn't sleep want tired and struggled to fall asleep.

Things I did differently this month, tried the whole not trying thing. dtd a couple days before OV the day of OV using preseed and a couple days after using preseed again. And I took evening primrose oil ever day up until OV.

Good luck lovely ladies xxxxxxx

Ah well AF appeared yesterday.. 2 days early.

I am going to try OPKs this time and see how that goes x

Good Luck everyone still in the game x

I though I'd be really fed up by not having a 2ww this month (was thousands of miles away from husband during ov, so I 100 per cent know I can't be preggo), but it's actually really relaxing! Although I do still hope af shows up on time so we can get on with trying again!

Af due tomorrow, I tested today using a frer test it was a bfn I know they say its better til after your Af is late but couldn't I have a real feeling now I'm deff not pregnant yet

Haha yes why is that. When you know oyu bded arouned OV you can't but not wait during the 2ww yet when you know you didn't your fine :S

Everytime we BD over OV I keep saying okay carry on as normal but every blimming time I'm all arg is it over yet lol.

Hello guys, is everyone in this calm thread nearly due to test or is anyone around 4dpo?

I've still got the long stretch of my 2ww to go and I would love to try not beng a mentalist this time!!

Any tips?

x

Tips - try and keep your mind buisy so you can't think about it hehe.

Probs do 1 at weekend then again on Wed if AF not show by tues night :)

How are you managing your pcOS?
Are you like me and insulin resistant?
That's been giving me immature eggs (

Just been on Metformin for it for 7 months now. I take 500mg 3 times a day. Since been on it I've lost 4 stone in weight and my cycles becomming more regular. I also pass out less and not real tired all the time. Which means I can get up on a morning now (still yawn like crazy until a cuppa tho) instead of sleeping until dinner :)

Still spotty as hell and not calmed my unwanted hair down. At least it's light colour hair so not everyone can see my tash :p

oh wow so metformin is working for you then! Thats excellent! Are you also on a low GI diet?

I have been prescribed a very low dose metformin and stick religiously to low GI.

got a lovely egg this cycle so somethng must be working, but whether it will be enough to get a BFP this month who knows.

Are you hopeful for testing? x

I'm 7 dpo and I'm gonna hold off from testing till AF is due.
I feel really emotional today fx it's a symptom x

Hi girl's I know I haven't commented much but have been reading your posts everyday and they have helped keep me calm and level headed so thank you all for that.

I managed to resist testing until today 14dpo and no AF did a cheepie HPT and it's BFP for me it's only a faint line but it's defiantly there :)
good luck to everyone.

Hi just read about your chemical pregnancies so sorry to hear about it
I have PCOS and have been on metformin for years it really heped with the weight loss but none of the other symptoms.

I had a chemical pregnancy in December and my GP just gave me the brush off so He told me it was because my progesterone level dropped and I couldn't maintain a pregnancy also why a fertilized egg won't implant coz my levels drop

I started using natural progesterone cream a month ago and just got a positive result was told to continue for the next 12 weeks at least to maintain healthy progesterone levels
hope this helps don't give up hope xx
