***September 2016 Mummies - the last lap***

Getting tightenings again. They are getting painful now but not sure if that's because I need a wee? Worried that if I wee they will stop as that seems to be the pattern at the moment! Xxx

Oh Naomi, it's a shame induction isn't a speedy process, I'm sure when baby is here Millie will be very pleased and understand your temporary absence, I hope your tightenings are there to stay and don't get stopped by a pee.
Looking forward to your good news :) it would be cool if you have baby tomorrow as that's my due date :)
I can't believe they don't serve GD friendly meals or come and check on you that often x

SCL i hope you have your little one by now, and Naomi I hope it's not too much longer for you been thinking about you both xx

Hateful about the food choices Naomi

Had reflexology earlier hurting in various places since, if I was to go into labour now not sure is be fit for it

Well, the pee has stopped them again. So frustrating - don't get why weeing stops it!!! It was getting fairly painful then too. And yeh feeling a bit forgotten about but think they're just hugely short staffed.

Hope SCL has had her baby now xxx

I've never had reflexology sansk. Is it any good? Is it supposed to help you go into labour? Xxx

Aye it can help bring labour on in some and helps balance hormones getting the body ready. MW did it twice now both times pain after but hasn't led to anything yet so jury is still out...it is relaxing though at the time and baby was moving about he is normally very quiet.

Ooh I've heard it's also supposed to make labour quicker if you have it often enough in pregnancy x

Baby boy B/SCL arrived at 18:48 on 12th September by c section, due to cervix doing next to nothing!
Weighed 9 lbs 4(!) and is perfect!
Struggling with feeding as we try so hard to latch but can't without some help from maternity assistants.
Not able to sleep as hospital is noisy and so is Baby B's trolley cot, even when he just stirs! Rocks and creaks.
Tried some formula last night as he was getting frustrated with tying to latch and failing (plus can't move from bed and can't sit up straight) and he did NOT like it! Yikes! Anyway" trio ore wwill tell.
He's a mini Daddy and is just my new world!
Hopefully out of hospital tomorrow!
Naomi, you'll be great!
Take the pain killers is my advice.
Boys are winnings not September mummies!
Come on girlies! Xx

Oh SCL huge congratulations lovely - I am so so glad he's here for you :-) and what a gorgeous little man too!! Hope you get over the latching issues soon - it can take a little while to get the hang of it but he'll be a pro in no time I'm sure.

V noisy ward here and I feel like rachel from friends getting all bitter about people coming in after me but leaving before me haha! Got about an hours sleep so going to need to see if I can nap sometime in the day today. Some.more contractions in the night but they keep starting and stopping. Simon is bringing millie in to meet in the coffee shop at 10:30 so I've got to pull myself together and not cry when I see her. Will then be examined at 12:45 and hoping my cervix will allow them to break my waters.

Hope everyone is doing ok.

Also SCL you are right about the boys dominating - I've been assuming all us yellows might be pinks to balance it out but clearly not!! Xxx

Huge congratulations SCL :) he's beautiful and well done even though it ended up in a section :)

Naomi it will be lovely for you to see Millie :) I hope they can break your waters

And yay for boys :) x

Congrats SCL he's a beauty!! Boys AND 9 pounders are dominating!!
Hope something happens for you today Naomi.

Congratulations SCL! He is lovely!

Good luck Naomi - I hope things start moving along for you :)

I was due yesterday but no signs of Baby making an appearance. I had a few period type pains but they didn't come to anything. I have the midwife this morning and she said she'd offer me a sweep but I'm only a day overdue so I think I'll just wait and see if anything happens.

Congratulations scl. What a cutie.

Lots of boys so far, and I'm team yellow, yet for some reason I think I'm having a boy. I'm super happy either way, boy or girl :D

Lots of you having babies and/or due, I've got another week and a half until my due date!

Congrats! Yay for boys haha mine is 16 days old. He's beautiful I'm so in love x

Aaaah SCL he is just gorgeous! Breastfeeding really can take time at first but before you know it it will be second nature to you both (really). It's so daunting and overwhelming at first though, I remember!

Naomi it's ok if you cry when you see Millie. My girl saw me cry a lot when we transitioned to a family of 4 and it allowed her to see crying is ok and it also created a situation where she stepped up and supported me in the most beautiful way.

I hope your baby is here soon!!!

Here's my sweetest Summer at 8 days old (she's 10 days now!)
