***September 2016 Mummies - the last lap***

I struggle to fall asleep sat up, how do you do it? X

Just use my big 10ft U shaped pregnancy pillow to kind of wrap around me under my legs to stop me sliding down and normal pillows supporting my back and head lol

I have a v pillow which is supportive but I just can't sleep sat up x

I have similar overnight stiffness issues. Used to have similar before pregnancy linked to my ovulation hormones so I put it down to that. Have had more heartburn recently as I think baby's hair is now growing in lol (DsS had a huge head of hair when he was born!).

Did some ball bouncing this morning. Think he's moved further down lol

Beached whale would be a good description lol.

I hate having to ask people to let me past, at the hospital a nurse took one look at me and said oh gosh you can't have long left, rather than being rude I just said 10days.

I don't walk anywhere anymore so I'm impressed that you did and up a hill. I'm lucky if I even get dressed lol. Had to start cutting my knickers so they fit better, Chris said he's going to buy me a load of new ones :)

What you going to do with your niece then? How old is she? X

My thing is, I just can't tell whether or not I am going to fit through a gap! I ought to just guess that I am not rather than try to squeeze through! Getting too close to other cars and then trying to get out is quite a challenge too, as normally it wouldn't be too close!
I am trying to keep walking even though it's so hard.
It may stop soon though as seriously, my tummy was so tight when I got to the restaurant I think Dan was concerned.
I bought extra large maternity knickers from Mothercare and they are doing the job currently! Recommend them. Their leggings are good, but don't last long so have holes in all of mine! Not getting new ones now though, obvs.
My niece is just five and she's generally a good girl! We went to get some lunch from shop, bought a magazine, painted her nails(!), did puzzles in magazine, may have let her watch telly over lunch(!) and we took the cats out for a walk in garden (as mine go on leads and don't go out freely - they would just get squished as too silly). We also learnt how to pick up the cats properly, much to the cats' chagrin. Such sweeties though as they let her do it! I could see them gritting their teeth. They weren't so accepting of my friend's 16 month old who just kept chasing them and saying her only word, 'Tat!' (Cat) but hopefully they will gradually get used to BB if it starts off being helpless!
We just started getting stuff ready to go in bag then realised all needed washing, so going to start that process tomorrow.
Lander, I really need to start bouncing more! Can you feel bubba move when/after you're doing it?
Happy Sunday all. Xxx

P.S. I couldn't decide about Deadpool! Parts of me thought it was reallllllly clever, then some surprisingly prudish parts of me (didn't think I was a prude) thought it was just gratuitous swearing and violence for the sake of it! However, that was the point, I think, so it's not like it was claiming to be something it wasn't. Dan absolutely loved it.

Haha, I have just decided I fit through no gaps anymore.

I did buy bigger knickers initially and it's only the past 2 weeks they got too tight so it's pointless buying anymore, I'm just going to live in leggings and nighties etc for the next week :)

Your niece sounds adorable

And keep the bouncing up its supposed to help so much :) x

I can feel something lol. I'm aware of a little discomfort where I think he gets his head down further.

Have had a few pains up the sides of my bump this evening which I don't know if it was my bowels or something else though.

Ooh time will tell lander :)

Some of the pains I get if I didn't know better I would think are signs of labour ... They can take my breath away x

Memory is awful! Just completely forgot what I was doing and still can't remember what I need to do this morning! Oh well, will have to sit on sofa for a bit and try to remember!

Haha that's never a good sign, I couldn't sleep last night so watched some olympics, now I'm shattered but can't do anything about it as I have the midwife at 9:30 and then a friend coming round after that ... I hope I don't fall asleep when she is here. I think when she has gone I will be returning to bed for a nap lol x

I feel guilty for this moan .... But it's going to be really hot this week :(
Normally I would love it ... I don't think I can cope with it

Naomi is it this week your 2 day week starts? X

I hate the sun at the best of times. It's going to be a tough one, but I am going to use my tower fan and not move away from it!
If you fall asleep, you fall asleep...I think anyone who didn't forgive you would be very mean!
Olympics was great yesterday wasn't it? I kept trying to sleep after beginning to watch the Murray match, then kept waking up thinking it must have finished... At 1am, I thought I would check up on it and tuned in just in time to see him win!
Amazing. And those gymnasts... I have a not very good claim to fame(!) Max Whitlock went to the school that I taught at in my NQT year. Rubbish, yes, but so impressed by him!

I'm staying in our living room during the heat lol. The lounge and kitchen are always coolest. We can have the back door open now that the cat has finished his antibiotics and is coming in and out without a problem and that makes for a decent breeze through the house as well.

I feel more uncomfortable today and typically DH has gone back to work after his 5-6 weeks off sick woth his sciatica/back injury lol

Sat watching cookery shows on tv whilst waiting for the nursery furniture to be delivered.

Blood test clear/normal. No diabetes 4.2 to start and 6.8 to finish *phew* 37 weeks day after tomorrow, birth centre ahoy!!!

Oh lander that's fab :), still think baby is coming early?

My lounge is good to sit in as the sun spends a lot of the time at the back of my house so the lounge stays cool until approx 3pm :)

SCL it's still a good claim to fame - I don't have that claim to fame and I was proud too. Both medals were well deserved.
My husband finds it hilarious as when I was expecting Liam it was the Winter Olympics and I was obsessed, and I have done the same this time lol.

My friend seriously needs to turn up soon, I am dressed and when I am dressed I am really uncomfortable I just want to put my nightie back on lol

Had my local midwife for the last time today too, all is good there ... I can also officially say that I am having my babies next week :) x

Yes I think he will. Class tonight is going to feel uncomfy. He's got well stuck in down down there now lol

On the bright side you are pretty much full term now anyway So there should be no issues when you have him x

Indeed. Hopefully.

And the nursery furniture has arrived. Have to wait for DH to assemble it now though and of course he's back at work...

At least it is there though :), and it's typical timing isn't it that he returns to work when furniture arrives.

My husband has just suddenly decided we need to buy a buggy board for Liam ... I did mention this to him months ago and he fobbed me off, so now I have to find one he approves of x
