Just a quick update! AF still not here... 8 days late now and I just felt like I was going to be sick frying some chicken... not had that since I was pregnant with Lyla...

Going to do another test in the morning!

James had me up at 5am , I could have cried as I only went to bed just before Midnight. I bought him in with me but he was wide awake. I let him lay there for a bit, then put him in cot with mobile on and popped a few toys in with him as he wasn't hungry? He just wanted to play.

I was just about to get up at 6am when his little eyes started going so he came back to bed with me and we slept until 7am!!

I think we're going to have a day in today. I cba to go out and it's going to rain this afternoon!

We went to a wedding last night and busted some moves, was great yo get glammed up too getting jiggy lol

Well I didn't post it on here yesterday (put it on a separate thread) but was feeling really sick and tired yesterday and on Feidays my OH plays football near where his mum lives so he said that he could take Chloe with him to his mums and let her look after Chloe while he goes football but then stay there the night as it will be late.....I thought about it for a few hours and the thought of her not being with me made me feel even sicker but I was so tired I even felt a bit dizzy so in the end I agreed. After they left I had a little cry then ate some ice cream lol then feel asleep for about 3 hours! Well I think I know now while I feel so crappy as woke up this morning with period pains! Still feel really crap but at least I know why now.

Can't wait for her to get home, just taken some pain killers and hope I feel better by the time they get back as must admit at the moment I feel so sick.....forgot how bad I used to be when the witch got me

Been a bit AWOL but I've been mooching around.
Chloe,have you tested? I love the selection of nappies you have. I still think about going to cloth but it pickles my mind with the amount of choice out there.

I went to the big reunion concert last night with some of my friends and we had a great time! I am so tired today though. I've been out to baby massage and for weekend supplies so I'm off for a bath and getting on my pyjamas to chill out out all day. The weather looks awful here so I don't want to venture out.

Tested this morning with FMU and negative! Still no AF but at least I know for definite I'm not having another right now!

Got very scared last night thinking about having another so soon. Glad I can just spend lots of time with my baby girl right now! xx

So Lyla has started to hate being fed pureés so tried her on some finger foods for dinner to try out her new tooth and it was a hit!



She chomped on the peppers and sucked the insides out of the tomatoes was funny to watch

Hi ladies. Looks like everyone is having a fab social life recently. Glad you are all having fun.

Chloe.... Glad you got the result you wanted. There are pros and cons to having two close together but as long as you are happy giving all your attention to Lyla just now! Hope you like your nappies I've heard great things about bum genius although I use cheapies off eBay! Lol.

Nat... I feel your pain with the lack of sleep. OH was working late last night but I waited up for him as I find it difficult to sleep knowing he'll come crashing through the door soon, and I expected him to be home at around midnight. Well he didn't get home til 1:30 by which time I was pretty worried about him! He rolls in, gets into bed and starts eating a pack of crisps I could have killed him.

Just as I was finally dropping off (2am) C woke for a feed. Back in bed by 2:30, until 5am when C decided it was time to get up.

Shattered isn't the word! OH is at work 11-8 today too so no break for me. I will sleep tonight I tell you! Xx

My OH used to do this ALL the time. Drove me insane! He pissed me off last night as I was expecting him home from work around 10 but he didn't bother to come home till 11 because he was in the pub. I wouldn't mind if he said "I'm gonna go to the pub for a few and then I'll be home" but he said he'd be home not long after 10.

Chloe - I know exactly how you felt! I was seriously freaking out when AF didn't arrive, was sort of peace of mind getting a negative when she was a few days late but sort of not as I was thinking I might have ovulated later than I thought and I had unprotected sex after I thought I had ovulated...never been so please when she actually came!

Wilson and mrswoody - glad you had nice nights out!

PB - hope you are feeling better and having lots of cuddles with Chloe!

S's birthday is stressing me out! Her granny and mum keep changing the sodding plan! The latest is they all want us to go to her mum's, but I've said A and I are not going because they smoke in the house and I'm not having A in a house like that. S stinks of fags everytime she comes back from there and even when her mum washes clothes and gives them back, I wash them again because they reek. They'll probably moan and think it's unfair on S but I am not willingly going to have my baby around cigarettes!

Anyway, I have spent all day baking her birthday cake...it's a rainbow cake with 6 layers will post a pic when it's all finished!xx

MIL has just randomly turned up (about an hour ago)

Means I've not done any fingers foods with James and I am so hungry - was going to order a takeaway but I am worried if I mention it she'll want to stay and have dinner with me

I'll just do myself some pasta and sauce when she goes.

Morning all,

We've been up since 6am! I am so productive though. Already done a good few chores and James is having a nap.

Freaking out a but as May / June is such a busy time for Birthday's.

2nd May - Nephew
3rd May - friend
11th May - OH's bro
16th May - SIL
19th May - friends little girl
20th May - OH's niece
27th May - my Bro
17th June - Me
21st June - OH's bro
28th June - OH's nephew (4) and Niece (17) - born on the same day but many years apart - they are cousins not bro and sis though!

We also have Father's day on 16th June!!! Jeez!!!

We only do pressies for the kids but still it's such a busy time of year. I am so busy I am overlapping LOL...I had to miss friends Birthday as she celebrated on the same day my nephew has his party and I'll have to miss my friends LO's party next Sun as OH's niece is celebrating on that day...

James and I are off out for lunch with a friend, waiting ti hear is another friend will be joining us as well.

Wow Carnet that is a lot of birthdays, saying that I know a lot of birthdays on June and July.......

Well little miss woke up at 5.30am this morning and was very loud what's not like her as A) she usually sleeps until around. 7.30 and B) she usually just chats to herself and lifts up the bumper to look at me until I wake up. She was tired though as only had about 80ml of her bottle and feel asleep. She was so asleep I only held her for about 10 mins and put her straight back in crib. The thought of doing my exercises that early was a NO NO so I went back to sleep until she woke up around 7.30am so we had a little play for 20 mins and she has gone back to sleep so got up and done my hour of exercises

She is actually on the bed asleep with OH, she can't roll yet but I have put pillows around her and done exercises in room next door with no sound so I could hear her if she woke up and also I checked on her 3 times! Lol

The problem is when my OH is asleep he can't hear anything, and I mean anything! She doesn't even (most of the time) bother crying now as she knows I will hear her when she wakes up but even if she did scream OH would sleep through it and he is a night owl so can stay up until 3-4 in the morning but will not wake up until 12-1pm in the afternoon!!! How am I supposed to go back to work when he can't hear her crying??? I'm so worried about it!

We have one of those monitors that you can see baby on your phone so I said to him that I'm going to have to make sure he is up before I leave for work and I will be checking phone to make sure he doesn't fall asleep on sofa or something like that and she is in her Crib/cot crying! I flipping call a neighbour and get them to break the door down!! Lol x
