**** November 2012 Mummies **** (everyone welcome)

Evening ladies ,

We havent left arthur yet either, i worry to much at leaving him.
God knows whst ill be like going back to work :(

Hes started to really hurt my nipples bf hes bitting them so hard at times, tonight he made me shout ouch and made me cry it hurt that much :( i dont know what to do??

How much mrsw for the shoot is it if u dont mind me asking.??
We start our water babies a wk on wed
:) xx

Wilson M is the same with me and it bloody hurts! She has started to play with my nipple, blowing raspberries on me is her favourite!! Not sure what you can do about the biting, hopefully just a phase and he will stop soon.
The shoot is £40 then the photos are extra, a 10x8 is about £69 I think and they go up from there. There are loads of different products to choose from though so ill have a look and report back. You will love your swimming though :)

La..ah yes Oz this week!! Are you all packed and sorted? x

Cannot believe how alike they look mrswoody!

I have left A once overnight, and to be honest with you I got so drunk on a few wines that I passed out and barely noticed I was without her. I was mighty glad of my cuddles the next day though. I decided I had better do it sooner rather than later or it may make it harder. It's rare that I would have to leave her overnight but we were thinking of going to OH's cousins wedding in June and that would have been 2 nights away from her...we've decided not to go though. I think I would miss her too much not to mention I would have to be expressing all the time to get enough milk and I really don't fancy that!

I've missed so much on this thread, will try and catch up properly tomorrow but today has been pretty hectic and tomorrow we're away to the mainland to see OH's parents and his sister and her kids so will be another busy one! Hope everyone is having a lovely bank holiday weekend :) xxx

Oh just before I go to bed Wilson...

My mum said when we got teeth and she was BF she would simply take us off the boob when we bit and say no, then relatch and continue the feed. She would do this every time we tried to bite and we very quickly learnt. Hopefully that would work for you? Must be horrid. A stopped teething for a few days there but I think we're back on it. Not looking forward to getting bitten!xx

J is still asleep  he seems to sleep really well in his own room with the blackout blinds.

Mrswoody - I can't believe how much your OH looks like M!! I have baby photos of DH and J looks like neither of us. I do catch a glimpse of him every now and then and I think he looks like (my memory of) my brother as a kid.

I haven't even started packing yet. I have a list. I've thought about starting but then keep thinking most of the stuff we're using, so I can't really. I reckon it will only take me an hour or two at the most and we don't go until 6pm on Thursday, so I think I'm going to do it on the day.

xxxx

Morning everyone!

Not really had a chance to get on here much over last few days. Every other weekend we stay at my OH from Friday-Sunday but this weekend he is helping his mum decorate so we are staying to Tuesday.

Chloe was a nightmare last night, she plays up more around here as there are more people therefore more going on so she doesn't want to sleep, with that the heat and her teething she was awake until aroun 12pm! She woke me up this morning for feed at 7.30 then went back to sleep and is still fast asleep now. It helps that my OH mum has blackout curtains :) it's good because after I get her back to sleep I do an hour if exercise then just sit here (like I'm doing now) until she wakes up again but at the moment she is in a deep sleep :)

I'm loving the sunshine, wish we could go out or something but like I said OH is decorating and I don't really know the area that well to just go on random walks.....I'd sit in the garden but haven't bough Chloe any sunblock yet (even though I'd make sure she was in the shade) mmmmm maybe I will wake my lazy OH up (he's not really) and see if there are any shops near here that would sell sunblock for babies.

Hope all you ladies have a great sunny day! :) x

Just getting organised to head out for a few hours. Got all the picnic food done.

Bub is a grumpy little thing today. He cried all through breakkie and is just whining at the moment... so unlike him??? It's leap time though.

L_a I love packing for holiday. You must be super excited as it's not just a holiday you will be meeting you nephew for the first time!!

Oh bless him, hope he cheers up soon :) Chloe was a grumpy little miss last night, she has just woke up and is happy.....at the moment! Lol x

I think today he is just tired as he went straight down after his bottle. He hasn't even got a top on (I was half way through getting him ready!) so he must be tired....

I am also thinking it's down to leap time and maybe teething as well?

A grumpy James isn't all that bad he is still a good boy even when in a bad mood.

We're back from our picnic!! Not much sunshine about but it was perfect for James!!

We did have him out but even with it being cloudy it was too bright for him, he is my little vampire baby.

We've just had avocado and tomato. I let him have the tomatoes out of my hand as they were cherry tom's but he loved them! Going to get some big beef tomatoes tomorrow so I can give him some fingers to feed himself.

He is thrashing about in his play-gym, rolling all over the place and generally not looking like a baby ready for bed

Hi ladies,
Hope you all enjoyed the BH weekend :)

It was lovely and sunny here and is forecast the same again today. I'm off to do some Buggy Fit later this morning. Should be interesting.

Nat..James looks so big in his seat! I think the sun bothers M a bit so I'm looking to get her some sun glasses.

M nearly went to roll yesterday but decided against it!! Can't wait to see her roll :)

Enjoy your day xxx

Sunglasses are a good idea, I must have a look!!

James is rolling all over the place. He would do it sporadically and then about 4 days ago he just started doing it all the time. I found him halfway across the living room yesterday and I only went for a wee

What is Buggy fit? Is it like a group of you that go power walking with prams? Or a proper exercise group?

Off out a but later for a walk and probably to grab some shopping. I have to stock up every few days as I am trying to buy as much as possible fresh at the moment (and we don't have a freezer)

A week today and little legs is 6 months old, I can barely believe it!!

I was going to get Chloe some sun glasses, I know they do them for babies with that Vicro (think that's what they call it) stuff but OH mum has talked me into getting a parasol instead.....

Buggy Fit - I love that idea! Will have to find out if they do it around my area, would be nice to meet other mums, I was going to so all that sort of stuff but then OH become redundant so spend all our time with him and iv got to go back to work (haven't decided when yet) so by the time he gets a new job (or he might have to stay at home and look after baby) it will be to late for all that kind of stuff.....such a bummer!!

Chloe woke up at 8 this morning and after her feed she watched me do my exercises this time and she feel asleep just while I was doing the last few :) a little annoying as her bottle was started at 8 so only ok for another 30 minutes.....!

Oh well at least I can have a little air down now for 10 minutes and have a nose on the forum.

Have a great day everyone! X

Hi everyone.

Hope your all ok. I need to read to catch up with everyone.
Sorry we've been a bit awol. Been really busy and toby isn't well.

Poor soul has got a virus hes all rashy, very wheezy and full of phlem and a nasty cough. He's had it for about 8 days now. We saw the doc this morning anf they think its bronchiolitus and theres no treating it so we've just got to ride it out. The bit that get me the most is the wheezing and when he's laid down he will scream. Luckily his night arnt too bad just a case of patting his back in a cough fit and hes back off to sleep. At worst it can last a whole 3 weeks

We did manage to venture out over the weekend. We put t on my back in his carrier so he was upright and went geocaching. It was lovely although I was cursing the hills.

We had a waterbabies photoshoot last week and it went ok just looking forward to the pics.

Toby is now rolling like a pro he can move pretty far pretty fast. He hates being on the floor though. He just wants to stand. For fathersday I'm getting an imprint keyring and a little pic for oh done. I planned it ages ago so I've had the funds saved for it.

We're also moving. We have got a house at last at the base we work at. Currently its about a 1 1/2 hr round trip and since t will be at the nursery on my base it made sense to ask and somebody listened :D. So we move in around the start of june. I know it will be chaos but we're happy.

Sorry for the long post. T's asleep so I'm grabbing the chance to jump on here.

Hope your all well and the babies are being good. Absolutely loving the pics of these cuties. Xx

Baby banz ate meant to be good, I'm going to have a look for them. Zulliy do them Lynds had a link up. The other day x
Buggy fit is like a fitness class with prams. I've never been before so hopefully shouldn't be too bad, I'm going with other mums I know so shouldn't be too bad....I hope!

The sun is out here today again :D might go buy M a little paddling pool to pop her in. She went to bed minus a vest last night as it was really warm.

Helloooo ladies!

Sazz - sorry to hear Toby isn't well! It's horrible seeing them like that and not being able to do anything for them - and the worst A has had is a cold! I really hope he starts to feel better soon!

mrswoody - I like the sound of this buggy fit thing! You go to so many groups down there...maybe I should move back there!

Nat - James looks soooo grown up in his pushchair! Can't believe these November babies are starting to turn 6 months! It's all gone so quickly. I am getting incredibly broody again...

Well yesterday OH dragged me away from watching Yeovil on the telly (I was raging! They're only on telly like once a year normally!) and we went to the mainland to meet up with all his family. It ended up as 13 of us! Me, OH, A, OH's daughter, his dad, his mum, his sister, her boyfriend, 3 of her kids and 2 of his! It was VERY stressful especially when OH and I said we would take all the kids to the soft play by ourselves...nightmare! But anyway, it was good to catch up with everyone and we got all the bits we need for my step daughter's birthday party on Monday.

And Yeovil won the football so I was happy about that! I said to OH how desperate to go to Wembley and he said well its that or an engagement ring....I said Wembley. Don't think he liked that answer. Haha. But in all seriousness I can't afford to go so will be watching in on the box - think it would be a lot of hassle trying to find friends to stay with in the London area who wouldn't mind a baby staying too!xx

morning peeps
hope u all had a good bh :) we had a stroll round rother valley and had an ice cold cider on the lakes george just loved the water couldnt get him out, Arthur didnt know what to make of the grass either lol.
we them bought a new bbq and had friends round, and its just as glorious today so we are going out for a picnic on daddys lunch break :)

Arthur also went to bed minus the vest last night and slept lovely only waking for 2 quick feeds in the night.
james looks so big and handsome in his pram, i cant believe 6 months is on the borders, i know u go by date, arthur will be 6months a week on fridate by weeks as i follow that, strange how every one does different.

mrsw thanks for the info on water babies, it isnt cheap is it :(
the nipple issue is to late to tell him to stop and take him off as when he has really bitten me it hurts to much and then i dread feed times.

Oh my arthur is a sod to put down for naps over the last few days, it says one day till leap but i think hes in it now, has he hasnt been himself at all in the day :(

well ive finally figured out from my die what causes arthur belly ache, bread, ive cut it out the past week and he hasnt had any :) plus started him on porridge and banana helps him go for a part firm poo :)
im brining back sweet potato for lunch today while we are out.

Arthur has some sunglasses, some mini oakley ones but i have more chance of him doing a wee dance in the room then him keeping them on his face lol.

sorry to here toby is poorly, hope he gets better soon xx
xx

Get well soon Toby, poor little lamb.

LOL about the sunglasses - maybe I shouldn't bother??

Wilson I go by months as if I went by weeks James would already be 6 months !!!!! I don't want him to get older any quicker than he has to

We're back from shopping and the sun seems to be hiding so we'll do some chores I think. Going to do James some butternut squash for lunch and then tonight he'll have the rest of it with beef tomato, avocado and cucumber!

Anyone know what oil I can use to cook the BN squash? Normally I'd use Olive oil?

xxxxxxx
