**** November 2012 Mummies **** (everyone welcome)

Yep we need to put pram up to the next setting soon, I was just waiting for the weather to change as I don't have a footmuff!!

James can't quite reach the edges yet but that's all I need, being out and having him pop up in his pram

Love Arthur's football outfit! We keep meaning to get James his first Arsenal kit BUT they are so expensive (and Arsenal have had a pretty crap season - they are on the up now though!! Hopefully will finish at least 4th!!)

xxxxxxx

Jack has an arsenal kit, if the pic loads! I'm such a technophobe. The yellow kit is on sale at jjb/sports direct now as its close to end of season xxx

Lovely piccie Kitty, he is such a cutie! Think we'll end up getting James one next season? Maybe

Lyla is looking adorable as always Chloe!

I put M in the chair park of her pram today and she loved it. It was a nice day so I thought she'd like to see more of the world. I got her a buggy snuggle to go with it so she was looking quite the diva being pushed around town!
We have a Celtic babygrow for M, well she's too big for it now, oh stopped putting it on her as his team kept loosing lol

Aww i feel like i need some kind of footie outfit for livvi. She will be man u though

Mrsw so glad you had a good hol. I think we are going away in september? I cant go another year without a holiday abroad.

We put livvi in her big pram last week. I was holding off cos i hate doing anything that means she's a 'big girl' but she loves it.

Livvi pulls herself up all of the time. Its so funny. She was doing it at swimming when i had to put her on her back. Not so funny lol x

I've been in total denial about putting James into his "big boy" things.

I give him food in his Bumbo (I have the tray), he still sleeps in a crib and is still in the carrycot part of pram???

A lot of it is for practical reasons.. He isn't quite comfy in his highchair yet, I don't have a footmuff for the pram so needed it to warm up a little and the cot-bed is at my parents BUT I am just making excuses!

Pram is getting changed over tomorrow (we're at a christening today so I'll do it tomorrow)

Cot-bed sometime in the week, need Dad and OH both to bring it over as it is bloody heavy.

Also thinking we may have a week or two left out of his 3-6 month baby-grows but that that's it!!

Once again I've lost track if this thread - sorry! I actually find posting on here quite daunting because it moves so fast, is I put it off and then it becomes an even more mammoth task! I do love reading your updates though. Sorry if I miss anyone or commenting on something special.

Mrswoody - glad you had a nice holiday :). I have a buggy snuggle too, they're so cosy and handy aren't they?

Wilson - well done on getting a job interview. And 5lb in 10 days!! Jealous - my weight is coming off so slowly, only a lb or two every few weeks, but I ate fairly heathy anyway so there is little I could change. Just working myself up to a run. You should join the yummy mummy thread!

Nat - I'm the opposite. J has been in his big boy stuff for a while. I changed from the pram to the pushchair about 6 weeks ago (although my mum still uses the pram part cos she likes it) and he's now in his forward facing maclaren buggy  I didn't mean to put him in this straight away, I was buying in prep for Australia while it was on offer, but it's so easy I love using it. J doesn't seem to mind, although he doesn't sleep in it as much as his pram. He's in 6-9 clothes since last week and even has some 9-12 jeans (ted baker so they were small). He looks so grown up as his clothes are like grown up ones now, cords, jeans, little tshirts, rather than babygros! He is a big boy though, no idea what he weighs but he's tall too. He's also sitting unaided (although he does occasionally slump) but STILL not rolling! I think he's very close though.

Chloe - Lyla is so gorgeous. Love the last piccie of her.

Kitty - what a cutie!

Sally, missyeovil

We're taking him to see our ILs today as my SIL is moving house so we're going to help. None of the ILs have seen J for nearly 2 months - sore point and long story - so I imagine they'll be shocked by how how grown up he looks!

We had better waterbabies this week, he didn't cry hardly at all and did 2 underwater swims. He still looks very suspicious though and not like he's having a good time. Funny little boy!

Hope you all have a lovely weekend xxx

Glad you popped on L_a, I wanted to ask your opinion.

The GP prescribed us some of that Aveeno bath oil stuff (with the Oatmeal) as I mentioned I'd been using the cream and he said he'd heard good things about it.

He said on the days I don't bath James just to apply the bath stuff to skin? Does this sound OK? Also he didn't say about diluting it.

Edit - just read the pack and it is a shower / bath oil. It says when used in shower to be applied to skin but rinsed off??? So I guess I can't use it like Dr said (as kind of an oil rub?)

Morning girlies

Bad night again, up every 2hrs, im begining to think im not producing enough milk :( as its dropped down but been told this happend about 5 months

Missyeovil express 40 mins after a feed pref between 2am and 2pm as this is when your milk supply is at it highest and try to stick to these times so you dont mix n mess your supply up :)

L_A glad joe enjoyed water babies, cant wait to take arthur to it next month :) when i get in the bath with him i let the water go over his face slightly when we play and he doesnt seem to mind it :)

All babies looking super cute in their kits lol :)

I jad arthur in his big pram the other day, nosey bugger he was lol ImageUploadedByTapatalk1365842589.596485.jpg
He was ok in it but he gets bored quickly and wants to do something different.

Xxxx

awww love all the baby pics

So Lyla didn't sleep through last night, but only took 2oz of milk when she woke and I had to pop dummy in loads during the night!

This morning so far she has only taken 3.5oz and that was a battle to say the least. She is just refusing milk constantly! Yesterday she only took 14 ounces where it should have been closer to the 40oz mark for her weight. :(

It's so frustrating when she has gone 5-6 hours without taking any milk and I offer a bottle again and just point blank refusal. Keeping mouth shut tight shaking head from side to side and spitting any milk that does get in straight back out...

I'm mentally exhausted from all this!

I really wouldn't Nat, almost certainly it has some some of cleansing agent in and this is likely to irritate the skin if not washed off. I don't really know any more than you though and I think you've already come to this conclusion.

There are aveno creams that are for leaving on. We have the oatmeal intensive one and it's made Js face lovely.

Awe bless chloe, have u tried her with a different milk? Would this help? Big hugs, i know how u feel im mentally and physically exhausted :(

Well we are making the most of the warm weather today, just on our way down to a camper camping wkend taking the poddington, got the blood dog on my knee as he likes to see where we are going lol

Whats your plans today?? xxxx

Thanks L_a, I suspected as much!

Why would a bloody Dr tell me to do that???

I'll keep the bath oil for bath days and carry on using the cream. They didn't have the intensive one in stock but I'll keep an eye out for it. Just using the normal Oatmeal one for the time being.

Off out in half an hour. Dreading it to be honest, it's been years since I've been somewhere I don't really know anyone?

She's had problems with different milks and Hipp was the first one she was ok on.. I'm hoping I don't have to switch her again xx

Have you tried her on a comfort milk? It maybe more gentle on her tummy while shes not well xx

comfort milks all tend to be thicker to keep babies fuller longer and stop reflux and things like that but she wont even take a suck of the bottle so it's more to do with her not wanting it than what milk :(

I thought comfort milks didnt work as quick and wasnt thick?? Can u cup fred her or pipette feed her? Is she teething? Xx
