***** May 2015 Mummies to be *****

Glad it's eased Caseysmummy.

button have you eaten? Maybe sit and eat a biscuit or a sugary tea? I've had episodes like that too, it's crazy what pregnancy can do to us.

Yeah ive had lunch etc but im going to try something sweet see if that helps at all. Its awful!

Oh dear Button, sounds like your blood pressure or sugars ha e suddenly dropped, hope you're feeling ok soon.
Glad the pains have stopped Casey, definitely worth sorting a plan of action with your OH x

We were supposed to be going over to my mums tomorrow and taking her for lunch, but she has just found out she has shingles :( It shouldn't effect me or OH, but Blake is at risk. He was really looking forward to going to see her too.

I know a lot of you are way ahead in terms of hospital bag stuff but I've just got a couple of maternity nighties (nice and long and button down front) from primark for £3, were originally £6 and is have for two at that price as well really. Just thought might be worth keeping your eyes peeled if your passing, they were quite hidden away.

I know, we're all gutted

On another note..... HOSPITAL BAG IS PACKED! There's just the things I'll need to put in at the last minute, like my medication, hairbrush and phone charger. It's a sense of relief to know I'm ready now :)

Ohhh i got some but for £6 Elliot, dammit! Lol

I still need to pack bits into my bag, toiletries and going home clothes etc but have essentials like maternity pads and breast pads, big pants haha!!

What are you taking to the hospital clothes wise for yourself? At the moment I've got 5 pairs of knickers, 2 nighties, socks, towels, toiletries and maternity pads. That's it?

Will be taking my cotton floaty dress and leggings to come home, also have some jogging bottoms and a few tshirts i will put in. (Obviously hoping wont need any of this and get our homebirth)

Ooh breast pad question....adhesive or not??

So far I've got nighties, slippers, maternity pad and that's probably about it! But I'm still doing ok time wise (I think)

I will be getting re usable ones, but for my bag i just have sainbusrys own brand which stick to your bra, as I leaked so much once my milk came in!!

The breast pads I've got (Tesco) are adhesive.

I am not bothering with slippers as will probably be living in flip flops by then!

I've got 5 pairs of knickers, 4 pairs of socks, a nighty, 2 pairs of pjs, a dressing gown, loose leggings and a loose long tunic top.

With regards to breast pads Elliott, I find the adhesive doesn't hold them in place anyway so it doesn't matter!

Flip flops for me(you'll want some for the loos and showers, yucky) plus hospitals are always BOILING!!

Firstly glad I asked I know so little I didn't really know if the breast pads that were adhesive would stick to boob or bra! Ha ha!

My slippers are summer type ones and now you mention it I probably will take the flip flops I use for swimming pool showers etc with me too!! Good thinking :)

In my hospital bag ive got 5 pairs of pants, slippers, nursing bras x2 nighties x2 loose black yoga pants type things x2 tops x2 breast pads, a couple of carrier bags for worn clothes, black towel, shower gel, hand gel, tooth brush and paste, lip balm, hair brush and bobbles, paracetamol and moisturiser and flannel I'd completely forgotten socks though lol and im not keen on my feet being bare so better pack some of them. My bag is huge and im contemplating taking one that has wheels now as im not sure how we're going to take it all to the car when we leave as well as 2 car seats and babies xxx

I've got a small suitcase for me and using changing bag for baby, I was wondering If I would look like i'd moved in for a week but im planning on a section and I don't think i've over packed, I seem to have the same number of things as everyone else.

I've packed nighties, big knickers, slippers, pj bottoms shorts and vest tops. I will throw in a black maxi dress to come home in.
Will need to remember feeding bras.

I'm currently trying out a sports bra a bought in m and s, it was only £3 (down from £20+). It caught my eye because it has a zip right the way down the front. As I'm thinking my first choice option is using be birthing pool this could be a good option for keeping covered a bit whilst in there but also quick and easy for taking off after for skin to skin and first feed etc... Am in being silly thinking this?? I should add it's currently too big for me so thinking it'll be ok for me to expand into.

Can you tell ive been random shopping again today, think OH will be please I ho back to work next week to stop my spending!!

Hello all!

I've not done my bag yet. Baby's is sorted though! Will be buying things for mine this weekend.

Absolutely knackered again. Glad it's Friday tomorrow! Yay.
