*** march 2015 mummys to be ***

I swear they just have no barriers lol. Men have such a lovely way with words....mouth deffo goes before they realise what they are saying or have said!!!!

Don't suppose anyone wants another MIL? Sometimes mine drives me up the wall!! :(

Another?!?!?!? Nahhhhh you're alright thanks lol....
I cant mine as it is lol

Oh dear the comments from these men......honestly do they not engage their brains sometimes!

Sorry the MIL is driving you up the wall cakey. My MIL is lovely. She babysat our little boy today whilst we went out for a lovely posh lunch on the glass boat. Really appreciated it as we have no family close by so when we get the opportunity to be child free its marvellous. Hubbie and I hadn't had a 'date' together since August.....seems like ages ago.

Is anyone finding that braxton hicks are giving them a pinchy feeling down below?! Can also feel them getting lower....if that makes sense

Men don't think before they speak! Hubby keeps telling me how huge I am swiftly followed by this is the only time I can get away with saying it!

Sorry your Mil is being a pain Cakey. I do get on with mine quite well but I'm quite sure we will have a number of disagreements in the coming months!
Hope everyone has had a great day! Mine has been extremely lazy. X

Rachel I don't think I've even had any braxton hicks!! But I am getting tickled in inappropriate places... He is definitely really far down!

I'm not getting proper on and off braxton hicks but I have a deep ache very low down and when he moves it hurts!

Ah men :) my husband is quite careful with what he says... But I wonder what he thinks sometimes! I'm sure his thoughts are not always very romantic either.

Cakey there seem to be lots of posts about difficult MILs on the forum recently. I nearly wrote one myself :) Chin up! The main thing is that shortly you are going to have lots of lovely cuddles with your lo! Everyone else can get stuffed. X

i am getting strong Brixton hicks, they are making me stop what I'm doing. But I think they can be felt more if you have had children before? Last night I had them accompanied with really yucky period like back ache, poor hubby thought I was going into labour! But no, just practising :D

Ahhh bless all the mother in laws!! I really wish I saw more of mine, she is lovely but very busy (she is a nurse) and visits are very sporadic. I lost my own mum to cancer 7 years ago and really miss her more at times like this, so I wish MIL would take a more active role. Xx

Bless you all, you make me feel better. I just don't know how much more I can stand of telling me how big I am (um yes I know!) and how when she was pregnant she was laying floors and living in a house with no roof, no thanks. I just want to bang my head against the wall at times.
Sounds like maybe babies are trying to escape :) maybe we'll have lots on the same day lol xx

My update is that we got our beautiful boy home from the neonatal unit this week, all 4lb 3oz of him :D so far it's all going sweet. Our daughter is having a fabulous time being a big sister and theres not one ounce of jealously in her. Feel so blessed having him home and having our wee family complete :)

Hope you are all keeping well lovelies xxx

Whoah I have strong stabby shooty pains low down in what feels like my uterus/womb/cervix area. Taking my breath away! Doesn't help that I can't move without it hurting. Will be interesting to see if they stick around. Anyone experienced something similar?

Lovely to hear from you mamamoo and ur little man is doing well.. hope my little girl wil be same as u..

Sounds good podpie.. hope its the beginning of things :)

Oh god ttc it makes your blood run cold doesn't, the poor lady my heart goes out to her. Xx

It does .she was asking did anyone have less movement's before labour and didnt knw whether wait another wile or ring. She rang and went to be checked and told devastating news.. just feel so sad for her and her family. Life is cruel sometimes.

Podpie is your tummy all tight when you get the stabby pains?! Xxx

I can't tell if my tummy is tight or if it's just where he's moving around. I'm only getting the stabby pains really bad when I'm sitting up. When I'm laying on my side on the sofa it doesn't feel as bad. Might have a bounce on my ball to see if it does anything!

Oh ttc that is just awful! I can't imagine what they are going through.

Good new mamamoo! Hope you are settling ok.

Sounds promising podpie... Fingers crossed for you.

I've just booked to go see a reflexologist tomorrow night in the hope she can get things moving - she was a midwife for years too and she knows all the right spots to use after due date. Hopefully between this and sweep Monday things will start happening!
