***June Mummies***

Got scan date today, 29th November, I’ll be 12 plus 6, feels forever away! Xx

Does seem forever away doesn't it bubbles. Mine is on the 22nd and it seem like the days are dragging by :(

I've had a crap day, fretting. Keep losing thick mucus discharge like snot but thicker. And coupled with that I've got heavy aching and pinching going on. And horrible backache. Rang community midwife who basically told me that it the pain gets worse to ring back. Or if the discharge changed colour or smells to see my gp. So I'm left hoping it's all nothing and that in 2 weeks I'll see a healthy baba. Wouldn't be so bad but I've had no sickness at all today :(

Oh no, hope it doesn’t progress to anything. If it’s not red I am sure it is ok. I’ve had a lot of snot like discharge and the gp did a swab to check for bacterial vaginitis or thrush and came back clear. That may have been why she said go to gp if continues and nothing too sinsiter. Mine was tinged with brown too but stopped and didn’t ever progress to anything else. Let us know how you are getting on if anything changes xxx

I'm glad you posted this baby.3. I've had the same thing. I'm 9 weeks today and had thick creamy slightly yellowy (but not infected looking) discharge. Kind of like thick snot (ew) that is there every time I go to the bathroom. I spent a lot of time googling it and I feel like I either have thrush or it's just normal. Either way I am going to try and see my gp tomorrow. I don't feel particularly bad and I definitely didn't get this with my last two mcs. Try to be positive, I know it's hard because I worry every 5 minutes, but I think it's pretty normal xx

No idea what the discharge is baby but it sounds like a good thing if others have had it in pregnancies before. I still am not getting much discharge myself but then I never have.

I did get proper sickness to the point of actually being sick 3 or 4 times tonight though. I was fine all day, enjoying a night away with DH and some friends and just as we were about to go to dinner I had to run off to be sick. So now it's room service of plain pasta and ginger tea. I look like such a nutter!

How is everyone doing? I'm so glad it's the weekend. Had such a stressful week in work and trying to carry this secret with me is proving hard work. I need to go out and get some more work clothes today. Everything is so snug round my middle now!

Morning! Sickness has started here today! Fell asleep at 8.30pm last night apart from waking up to go up to bed I slept til 7.30am where I was rudely awoken with dreaded nausea and I knew the puke was coming argh nothing like stomach acid! Note to self, eat and drink as soon as you wake up!

Hope everyone else is feeling better xx

Hehe it’s so nice to come on here and see that other mummies to be are experiencing the same things as me. As supportive as my husband is he just doesn’t quite get it when I tell him about the sore boobs, nausea and extreme tiredness lol. I’ve found it hard keeping it a secret in work this week too SmithyBaby, mainly due to the nausea. When you’re in a class full of children it’s hard to nip out to be sick without telling someone the reason you have to pop out.

Definitely. I'm a primary teacher and literally impossible to run out of my class. Lucky mine has just been nausea and no sick but it's been close x

I actually feel a bit more alive today. I’ve spent the last two weeks (on annual leave) not really able to leave the house I was so nauseous constantly. I don’t know how I would have coped if I was at work. Although I’m annoyed I’ve just wasted 2 weeks leave!

So sorry to hear the nausea and sickness is bad for you all :( I’m still feeling lucky and had none. Hopefully not meaning bad news. Have got really bad (tmi) constipation!

Now about to go and take my two girls for a walk with dog in woods and climb trees... them obviously and not me! Haha

Hope you all have a great weekend with not many trips to the sick bowl xx

Bubbles some days have been better than others with the nausea, today is not so good but hopefully tomorrow will be a better day. Don’t worry about not having it thought as I didn’t have any nausea at all with my daughter. SmithyBaby I’m a primary teacher too. I’ve had to tell one of my colleagues (who’s also a good friend) that I’m pregnant just to help me cover it up for the moment. Also the headteacher knows as we had a suspected case of measles about a week ago and I wasn’t sure if I should be in school.

I've just got back from my first scan and everything seems to be good. I'm measuring 2 days ahead of when the opks thought and 1 day beind my lmp. The Dr was even able to pick it up on the abdominal ultrasound as the Dr was running late and I was desperate for a pee so the really full bladder really helped! The heart rate was 142bpm which different predictors have told me means either boy or girl but there is deffo only one baby in there despite how sick I've been feeling. I'm so happy everything seems fine and I've booked the tour of the maternity ward to confirm it's where I want to give birth for this Saturday.

Poor DH was a bit disappointed at the ultrasound, he didn't think it looked much like a baby! Poor guy was expecting a full on baby waving at him at 7w2-4d instead of a lumpy dot! At least he got to hear a heartbeat!

Had bloods done on Monday to check levels and symptoms disappeared. Just had a called back from the gp surgery telling me that the gp was to see me. Wouldn't give me the results over the phone :( I have an awful feeling there going to tell me my levels are too low

Baby i am praying for you that it is good news <3
When is your appointment hun xx

Oh no baby. Fx everything is still OK. Are you going in to find out today?

I was lucky and managed to grab an appointment at 10.30am. Saw the gp but he wasn't very reassuring. He just said that he wasn't sure why the midwife had referred me to him as beta bloods don't really tell you much at this stage. He's offered me an other test for this Friday, he basically said levels can level off or even decline a little bit at this stage. But did say if it was going to be bad news then the levels may reflect this if they drop dramatically. At the minute my levels are at 94,000 which I think is mid range for 10wks 4days which is when I had them done.

I'm unsure whether to just wait it out til the 12wk scan rather than getting the bloods done. If they show a drop it'll just add to the worry. I think I'm genuinely going to drive myself insane between now and the scan :(

Oh hun massive hugs <3
That is very frustrating that the doctor wasn't really sure on why you where there, but also good news as it wasn't bad news.
It is totally personal preference wherever you think you can wait until your 12 week scan. I know i couldn't and would be going absolutely insane xx

I'm so tempted to just arrange a private scan. But hate the thought of paying someone to tell me my baby has stopped growing :(
