***June 2019 Mummies***

Hey all hope you're all doing well. Everyone looks great. Still just waddling along here and reading posts. Less than 7 weeks to go for me.
Sore back and hips a lot lately. Can't wait for maternity leave.
Hospital bag packed and ready and discussing birth plan with midwife tomorrow. Don't feel ready for all this to be over yet though.

Marvellous I bet that would make some beautiful photos!
I’ve agreed to it and having them done on the 7th of May just need to find some outfits now

Oh no smithy hope your okay, try to get as much rest. I’ve been the same ready for maternity now but luckily my back pain has eased up x

Morning all,

Nice to hear from you smithy, sorry your so uncomfortable though. I think we're all reaching that stage where we are ready to just have baby here? I know i am, though i obviously don't her arriving too early! But one part or another is always aching though, i'm so over that!

Smcx, glad you agreed to the photo shoot, i think you'll look amazing :D And they'll be awesome photos to have as a keep sake. I have one photo that i love of my bump last pregnancy. It was taken totally unaware of how nice it would look. It's just a pic of my hand on my bump but it's all silhouetted by the sun.

All the bump pics look lovely, you all look so neat and tidy! I look like i'm carrying triplets lmao. No wonder i ache so much, carrying this huge bump around. How do people manage when they are carrying multiple babies?!

My health visitor came this morning to introduce herself. She was actually really nice and easy to talk to. Just went over the little red book that they use when baby is here. Briefly spoke about, feeding, sleeping, immunisations, health checks etc. All being well i should see her again when baby is 10 days old. Also, not sure if its the same where you guys are but apparently they now charge for the birth certificates when registering the baby. A lot of people hadn't known this and was leaving with a receipt of the registration and then having to apply for the birth certificate at a later date :/

So. i had a real baby brain moment today. Got kids ready to do school run, dropped the eldest at his school. Drove the youngest to his school, and managed to park really easy, usually it's packed and impossible to park. Rang his school, turns out they're not back until tomorrow. Poor lad is sat there all suited and booted ready to see his teacher and friends, had to explain that mummy had the wrong day. Worse thing is, i'd even written on the calendar that he goes back tomorrow! Hahaha

Pregnancy shoots sound amazing! I’m hoping to get some done while we’re in Spain. Nothing posh, just a nice photo or two! There’s usually photographers at the hotels aswell.

Sorry you’re not feeling so great smithy, you’ll miss it when the aches are replaced with sleepless nights lol!

Aww baby your poor little man, hopefully he was happy though he got to spend another day at home?! Good job you didn’t leave him there!!

I finish work Thursday!! Thought it was Friday and had arranged my whole week around it... my daughters dad must think nothing has changed with my organisational skills! As I’ve swapped the days he’s having her twice today!

Anyone else not feeling the humidity? I could hardly breathe last night! My little one keeps waking at 2.30 demanding this or that, and I am awake every hour or so clock watching. It’s driving me nuts. Everyone keeps telling me that my bump is so low baby won’t be there til his due day, which is starting to annoy me a bit now. I’d like him to stay put until 37 weeks Atleast, but the full 40 would be perfect!

Chrissi I’ve been told that too by a few of my clients and I’m like I’d like him to stay put bit longer thanks

The heat got to me today dunno if it’s just cos it’s muggy warm, been asleep on the sofa most the afternoon and can’t find the energy to get myself up just want to keep closing my eyes!

I was told by everyone my son would come early as he was low (not as low as I am now lol) and how id never make my due date.... he was 11 days late lol was told it's to do with how your ligaments cope. Mine are destroyed so I carry this one In my pants most days lol

I think a lot of people assume babies won’t make their due dates but more often than not ladies are still late. As much as it’s be nice to have a slightly earlier baby (a week or 2) I fully expect this one to be late too as both my others were 7 days over. Unless I have my growth scan at 37 weeks & they feel it necessary to get things started but even then I don’t want be induced. I’d rather try everything I can or accept sweeps before being induced!

I think I should sleep well tonight, I’ve not stopped all day. Dropped kids off & started cleaning the house. Whilst they were off school I didn’t do too much cleaning as there wasn’t much point with them messing everything up every 10 mins so left it for today! Only managed the upstairs but I did decide to clear all the crap under my bed (ottoman) & in draws also and that took a fair bit of time. Only sat down for about 15 mins for lunch & just been out for an hour long walk with the dogs. My bump & back fortunately feel ok, it’d my feet that are aching! Can’t wait for bed tonight! I’ve got a client in the morning & then I’ll do downstairs & the ironing! It was nice having the kids off but I do love getting back to normality once they go back :)

I'm sick of people saying I'm massive (which I don't particularly think I am) and that I am going to have a big baby that will come early. I feel you all with this one. He is just gonna have to turn up when he is good and ready and baked. I want him here but I want as much time as possible to be ready. I had all these grand plans about batch cooking food and having the nursery ready- now all I want is sleep haha.
I have the "pregnancy mask" going on too with the pigmentation thing making me look like a raccoon with dark eyes. Not so fun! Here's my pic from 30 weeks, I haven't really changed much in size since then just sometimes more bloated than others.
Don't worry baby.3 it happens more than you know. Plenty of times I have had to go to the school gates and explain to mums that it's an inset day. Bless you!
Hope everyone has had a lovely day xxx

I don't think you look massive at all Smithy - very neat in fact.
I honestly am huge - my mum told me today that she thinks I should eat less as the baby is measuring small but my bump is so huge - thanks Mum! Xx

Smithy you look fab!

I don’t think people realise how much it gets to us even more so with our hormones how them saying we look small or big. I get defensive if someone in work says to me I look small haha then a client was telling our junior at the back wash how enormous I looked like I couldn’t hear, we all just sat there and laughed!

I just wouldn’t dream saying to a pregnant person, not even a friend how big or small they looked. But oh well it’s amazing how our bodies are growing these little people inside of us. And we’ve all not got long to now!!

11.30pm and I'm sat in the bath. My legs are diving me up the wall, restless leg syndrome sucks!!

Smithy, I don't think you look massive at all! You look lovely and neat compared to my mammoth bump!

Haha, luckily I didn't get out the car with my son. Noticed the lack of people around and figured I'd got the wrong day. Stayed in the car and rang the school office to confirm days.

Xx

Smithy you look lovely! Certainly not massive!

Honestly I think for me at least I feel bigger than I actually look because my bump is getting heavy and as Marvellous says its how your ligaments cope. The other night he was so low I thought he was about to pop out already but he moved again and the pressure isn't so low down anymore. I just take comments of how big I am to mean I don't have long to go now. As glad as I am that I could get pregnant it's the next part I actually want!

Eugh I feel awful. Had a headache that just wouldn't budge last night and now Iv got period pains. Had them for the last few hours. Hoping Iv just slept funny and it's effecting my nerves

Oh no Marvellous I hope they ease up and go x

Oh no marvellous, hope it all eases soon. Keep an eye on those period pains, maybe ring your midwife if they don't ease off xxx

Hope you're feeling better Marvellous, I agree with baby, maybe call MW if the pains don't feel better soon. xx

The pains stopped but the headache hasn't. I feel like I can't concentrate at all. Tried to go shopping but had to go sit in car as I just feel dazed.

Are painkillers not helping? Do you think it might be worth getting checked over as you feel so unwell?

Xxx

Maybe worth a phone call to midwife? Are you drinking lots? Are you getting any other symptoms like swelling or dots in eyes?

Random question.... if your baby hasn’t hiccups where do you feel them? I’ve always had hiccups felt in my pelvis, normally to the left and baby has been head down. Today they have been at top of bump and to the right?! I’m worried baby has gone breech. I’ve got Midwife tomorrow so guess she will confirm. Online it said you sometimes feel hiccups from their bum so not sure?! And the other movements are all very similar. Sure feet are still kicking out on my right side and feel pressure in pelvis xx
