*** June 2015 Mummies ***

It is May girls! We can now all say we are due our babies next month. How crazy is that. X

And as us May mummies started popping in April, chances are you'll start in the next couple of weeks ;) x

Haha exactly!!! No pressure...except from the one on our pelvis ;-)!

We've already had one come super early! Us early June mums are in for a scary long May!

Jessie you should have your wee one by next week, shouldn't you?! Horrible long stay in hospital :-(. Nearly over now :)!

Yea a week today :)

Il be following your journeys and hoping for lots of exciting but smooth labours with happy and healthy mums and babies :)

Just had my final scan :) he's fine! Head is well and truly down now, right behind my pubic bone! Madness how on Monday he was up high, and next day he had dropped! He's measuring on the smaller side, small legs but not too small. They think he's going to be around 7lbs full term.

There he is my little monkey :) he wasn't co-operating very much today! She had to tilt the bed backwards, thought I was gonna slide off and then dig behind my pubic bone to try measure his head, and he kept turning away!

Also we can change my due date! Our section is booked and his birthday will be 10th June!! :) as long as he doesn't come before! The countdown is on now! Xx

Great news Charlie.

I had midwife this morning. I like her but had a student midwife do meausements etc. Got +1 protien in my urine and higher BP than normal but neither of them seemed concerned so hopefully nothing. All the measurements confuse me tho as was measuring 34 weeks aparently yet my scan measurements and estimated weights all come up as being small. Who knows... just got to trust that everyone knows what they are doing. X

Aw amazing Charlie!! Really pleased for you. Fingers crossed then that you make it to the 10th! Maybe you won't be the next one to go then ;-)! Were they not too worried about all your BH yesterday? Do you just need to take it really easy until D-Day then?

Hmmm babyscotcher fundal height is all very average based. As long as you are within a certain 2cm threshold then they deem you 'average'. Would think scan would be much more accurate. And fundal height doesn't account for fluid or how they baby is sitting etc. But you must be okay then or they would get you scanned again. I had protein in my last sample and increased BP, but they weren't too worried either. Protein can come from increase in cm apparently. Think as long as BP doesn't go too high then they just keep an eye on it. That's what they told me anyways!

Wish my blinkin' baby was head down! Mine's oblique :/

Ahh wow, only four days early then. Charlie that is SO SO SO soooooooo exciting! xx

I actually can't believe it is May either... Seriously where has the time gone.

Charlie, glad all went well with the scan.

Babyscotcher I had a student midwife at one of my appointments a while back, seemed a but chaotic.

Well bubs has been playing up a bit and worrying mummy the past couple of days, I was convinced movement had changed a bit, I could still feel LO moving just not as strong, anyway this evening think the movement is picking up again. I'll call MW if I'm concerned though, my lil niece is in hospital as she isn't feeding as well, keeps falling asleep while feeding as apparently jaundice makes them more sleepy. MHoping to hear this evening what's happening and whether they will keep her in, the main thing is she is being looked after.

Broke up for maternity leave today!! Absolute madness!!!

Just dawned on me that some of us will almost certainly have our babies this month!

Argh it's all so scary. OH is in a total panic expecting baby to come any day now :) off to visit the outlaws tonight, trying to visit as much family as possible prior to LO arriving.

Charlie - fab news about your LO! Fingers crossed he behaves himself and stays put until his planned birthday.

Karenb - welcome to mat leave! Hopefully you won't get bored like me :)

I've still got 4 weeks until I finish but only about 13 working days between now and then.

I'd love a chance to get bored but even when work stops I'll have DD keeping me busy.

Had a look at the other hospital yesterday, I've just transferred to. They're in the middle of doing it up. Some bits are still old and tired but the bits that are finished are great. Seems like a nicer place than the first hospital. Parking and visiting are all better too so excited to go there now. Looking forward to meeting my new consultant from that hospital next week!

Enjoy your maternity Karen and charlie... I'm almost there..

Back from our antenatal class. Was a good day, very informative and feel ready to go now. Hubby enjoyed himself too. Booked a water birth workshop in a couple of weeks which includes a tour of the labour ward.. Our hospital actually has 2 pools which is slightly more reassuring... Excited now.

Started to worry a little earlier as baby was quiet. Also had a headache which made me wonder as blood pressure was a little high yesterday. Luckily baby was obviously just being naughty as has made up for it this evening beating me up.

Hows everyone else's little ones behaving? X

My baby is having a very squirmy day today!! I have literally slept for hours today. I had my usual awakening at 2am and then DH called at 2.45am to get me to pick him up from town (I had offered as I knew I'd have my usual 2am insomnia. I didn't get back to sleep until after 4am. My mat leave starts in 4 weeks and I am looking forward to the prospect of getting naps in the day time as that's when I seem to sleep best.

Very exciting day tomorrow. DH and FIL are going to collect the nursery furniture and then we have our antenatal class and tour of the CMU in the afternoon. Hoping on Monday I can get the wall stickers up then maybe go to ikea for some shelves and storage units x

Babyscotcher I was like that thurs eve/fri, then last night after dinner back to normal but after speaking to MW today at our class feel confident calling up triage if not happy with movements again.
