*** June 2015 Mummies ***

I agree Belfa... love a daytime nap. Even had a nap in the car at lunchtime a week or so ago. I have 3 1/2 weeks left and counting. Getting your furniture will be great... I wish I hadnt done things so early sometimes as not got much to do now.

Definitely got a very wriggly baby this even making up for earlier... looks like something out of Alien, lol. X

I had a couple of quiet days Sunday and Monday just gone, at my scan the consultant said its because feet were up behind my ribs! Since my bump has dropped and babies head is right down I can now feel him constantly! His feet are much lower!

I finished work today! :) woo hoo! Feel lost already hahah xx

Lucy I think we finish for mat leave the same day (Friday)? We will be ladies of leisure with pismo, charlie and Karen :-)!

Our nursery is nearly done now. Still waiting on my bedside crib being delivered mind you. But the main furniture is all here and looking gorg. Walls done, curtains are being made by my MIL. Oh belfa was in a shop in the tradeston area called cotton print factory and they had an elephant print that was really cute - in a blue colour and few other colours. Made me think of you. We went with a cute unisex themed one - woodland creatures with an owl, fox and butterflies. Love it.

Picking up our cot mattress from mamas and papas today. But otherwise... Think we are almost there! I still haven't washed my baby clothes. Am waiting on my mat leave starting. Also waiting on another nice weather spell so can hang the baby clothes outside for a nice fresh smell!

May mums are coming along... A few of the early May ones are feeling twinges - will be us in 4 weeks :-o!!

Ah 4 weeks sounds like no time at all!!! I wonder who will creep into may or be June mamas!

Can't believe it's almost June. My whole family are convinced I'm going to go at the end of May near my birthday. Don't think that's how it works people haha!

I finish up work on Friday too, five shifts left! Woo hoo!!

Had a terrible sleep last night, restless legs and bad circulation is getting worse, woke up every few hours with aching thighs and couldn't feel my fingers!

Baby is very active, less kicks now and more like he's rubbing himself along my belly if that makes sense? can be quite sore when he changes position but makes me excited as I can see limbs pushing out!

Woo maternity leave for you tooooo!! I am already thinking about how I will pass the time next week!!

Haha nursery wardrobe is finally getting built on Tuesday! So I will be washing clothes this week! I've been getting more pressure in my pelvis and tightenings like waves that come from my pelvis then up and around my bump. My mums convinced I'm in slow labour. I'm not ready yet! Haha xx

Colettypie, I finish on Monday 18th. Couple of the girls have changed their days so we can have a Nice lunch, then it's all go, crammed a few bits in that week then things get a bit easier the following week. I've planned nothing for June, will go day by day.

I had a bit of a rubbish day yesterday, got really upset with hubby and my mum, felt like they were going on at me because I was considering buying some raspberry leaf tea... Never upset a hormonal pregnant woman... I just needed a few mins to myself...

Hope everyone had a nice bank holiday weekend, we've been prepping a few more bits and setting up the car seat later. 38 days until DD...eek!!!

I feel like a volcano about to erupt at any moment. My husband acts like I'm perfectly fit and well, letting me fetch and carry like a bloody cart horse and I'm 33 weeks now. I just want a bit of compassion! If I get upset at all he just makes out I'm irrational and hormonal! Men, grrrrrr!!!!! ️Xx

My husband has been the same Julie. Our nursery furniture was collected yesterday and the wardrobe was too heavy to take up the stairs so was left in our kitchen. It was driving me mad and my husband tried to say I could be helping him move it - wtf?! I took myself out the house to brush my horses at that point, git!

Had a tour of the CMU yesterday and that helped put things at ease. There is only one pool - no idea why I was told there was three! Really want to try a water birth now I've seen it. I'm not too worried about not getting to use it, will have to prepare myself for that fact but our tour was at 2.30pm and they had had no ladies in at all all day so all rooms were empty! Plus I was the only one who seemed to want a water birth in our group so I'm not sure how popular they are?x

36 weeks tomorrow and wondering if things are starting to slowly happen?! Have been having 'fanny daggers' and random pains all day. Also more pressure down below. Tried to do ironing but gave up after a while, far too painful. Prob be like this for weeks!

What gets to me is my husband keeps saying I'll be ok, labour will be fine, I'm doing well etc... But how do you know until it happens... Just because I've had a fairly smooth pregnancy... I don't always feel like that.

Here's hoping, let's hope maybe baby is just in an uncomfortable position, suppose though baby is classed as term in a week, pretty crazy eh!

Has anyone lost their appetite? Mine has reduced drastically.

Lucy - Deffo not eating as much as I had been. Not so much appetite related but more about feeling fuller sooner. Gives me cramps if I try and eat too much. However I am sat here eating strawberry laces :) Never too full for sweets it seems.

Washed and packed everything for hospital bags today. Will be placing them both near the front door for easy grabbing. Not packing any bottles are really hoping to breast feed and not sure what I would pack anyways - What has every one else packed feeding wise?

xx

Hello ladies. Sorry I've been MIA, we're still in the Neonatal unit with little Elizabeth but she's doing really well.
I'm trying to catch up with this thread, I still class myself as a June mummy even though she arrived in April!
hope you're all well and blooming xx

Good to hear from you Emma! Do they know when you'll get out?x

Aw DH was at M&P yesterday too picking up the furniture. My mum came and took some extra measurements today so fingers crossed she'll be starting my curtains soon x

No not yet. They've said to expect to be in until our due date but are hopeful we'll be home by 38 weeks. We've done 17 days so Dar and if we do come out by 38 weeks, we've got another 3 weeks to go!!

Glad to hear Elizabeth is doing well Emma, fingers crossed she continues to progress and you are home once fully ready. Have you been dropping into the April thread too?

xx

Glad she is doing well Emma.

Anyone else feel like they are getting bigger by the day? My bump seems to be ever growing at the minute and making everything that little bit more difficult. X

I'm definitely getting more uncomfortable to sit! I'm ok up and about but the moment j try to relax I can't get comfy.
